An iconic and must visit place in Amritsar for all foodies. Was suggested their kesar peda lassi by a rickshaw driver which was outstanding, except one could mildly feel the crunch of the sugar in final lassi. The quality is truly heavenly and rich. All the milk products should be worth having. Wanted to try their dahi or other sweets but one glass is enough to fill one up. We also parceled some rabri from there and took it via flight. Don't miss going here.

REVIEW BASED ON PEDA LASSI & PHIRNI Hyped. The Peda lassi which is "World Famous" wasn't as per our expectations. Idk what went wrong, whether our expectations were high or it was just a bad day, bad timing 🤷🏻‍♀️ At the very least we expected a normal Punjabi lassi which is creamy & thick. Sadly, What we got was a lassi almost having the consistency bit thicker than water or simply put, it was a loose consistency chaach....For Rs.90 😑 What ruined the consistency was - The milk (or maybe chach?) which is used to make the Peda Makhhan was added in the Lassi! Taste wasn't any special too. We had went all the way, on our tight schedule, just to have this Lassi. Utterly disappointed to say the least. Prices are too high considering the quality. Even the quantity is not as much as 90 rs. 2 stars just for Phirni & the Peda Makhhan on top of Lassi. Phirni was good. The previous day, Our local driver had taken us to a not so world famous dairy. It served us such a huge glass of a Rich, malai topped lassi at Rs 50! That's what I expected to have in Punjab 😍 & not this 👎

It’s highly recommended for fairly products such as chaas, pedha, mithai, rabdi We ate Rabdi, Gajar Halwa, Salted Lassi, Pedhewali lassi and Mava Barfi. I rate them all 11 on 10. One of the Best or rather the best Lassi i have ever tried in my life. It is a very popular place in Amritsar and ole of the oldest lassi place where you can see a lot of locals and tourists as well. The place opens real early so you can visit during early morning hours as well like 6- 6.30 am as well if you are craving for a good lassi. Try their regular lassi which is around 55rupees and that will fill u up for next 3-4hrs. Must visit place in Amritsar..A legendary place indeed

103 years old, Gian Di Lassi is a famous Lassi and Rabdi shop located near Golden temple, Amritsar. Gian Di Lassi shop was established in the year of 1921. We visited this place in Amritsar, Punjab all the way from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. 😂🤪😍 Here you can get the most authentic taste of punjabi Lassi and Rabdi. Lassi will be full of cream and butter. Lassi price is full glass 60₹ and half glass 35₹. Special Rabdi was of good quality too. Quality and quantity was great 👍 Recommended place to visit if you are in Amritsar, Punjab. Services are fast. Staff members are professional and polite. Prices are reasonable and pocket friendly. Cleanliness was good.

Make sure you go to the correct one. There are two shops names Gian di Lassi (original) and Giani punjabi lassi (new)at the same location. Tried both the places and the best out of both is normal malai Lassi at Gian di Lassi. Their peda Lassi is overrated and has too much elaichi. You can try if you have a large appetite. Each Lassi is very filling and you won't have space left after finishing one glass

This lassi is one of a kind in India. It is one of the oldest shop in Amritsar and a must visit place. They offer two types of lassi, simple and peda lassi. Both are amazing tasting. In one full glass you will find 1/4 full of cream and butter. The taste is absolutely delicious and one glass is enough for a meal for most people. The price is very reasonable and the staff takes care of you.

a perfect place to try the authentic taste of Punjab flavour like lassi full of cream and tea . The taste is pure authentic and delicious, whenever we visit Amritsar we must try it once . the extra cream at the top of the lassi is the favorite part . it is located near the golden temple so you can walk as well .

Please don't visit this place if you're worried about the ambience. The lassi truly epitomises what Punjab is all about. The texture and the richness of it will floor you. There is something called a peda lassi. They drop in a couple of pedas into the lassi and serve you the same. Not for the faint hearted or people with a slightly smaller appetite. It's literally desert served in a full lassi glass. It's amazing to see that places still serve lassi freshly prepared right in front of you. Please don't miss picking up the pedas and the khoya barfi ..... You will thank me later. A must visit.......

We tasted their famous lassi. We had the sweet one which had a lot of Makhan or malai in it which tasted really well. We had half a glass cuz a full glass would be tummy filling as the quantity is too much but if you're a lassi fan, this is a must try place

Had a glass of Lassi from this famous Lassi shop of Amritsar, it's close to golden temple, so you can enjoy this after your visit to Shri Harminder Sahib Ji. The taste of lassi was very good aptly sweet, topped with Malai & freshly prepared. The cost of full glass is 55₹/- and half glass is 35₹/- only. There is no parking space infront of shop for your vehicle, so prefer walking there as it is located on the road of very busy and crowded market of Amritsar.

Best known place in the world for a traditional style of lassi. It has maintained the same taste for decades and is always pouring out a fresh glass every minute of the day. Brought back memories of my life in Amritsar and although the malai and makhan enriched glass is a recipe for cardiac failure it is impossible to resist! Cleanliness is a constant concern but you cannot complete a trip to Amritsar without a ‘real’ glass of lassi!

I visited this lassi place today during the sunset time. In the brevity of life I would recommend everyone to visit this place. They had two options - Plain lassi and Peda lassi. I opted for Peda lassi. The taste was superb. The staff serving the lassi explained each ingredient used as I was intrigued in knowing the secret of taste. The butter and malai used as topping are like cherry on the cake. Anyone who loves lassi, this place is must visit. If you are reading this! Lassi cheers!

There are two lassi spots , one is gian di lassi, other is Giani Punjabi lassi, you can have pure and malai wali lassi from any one of them but i always prefer to have lassi from Giani Punjabi lassi, both are opposite to Regent Cinema.

If you are in Amritsar then simply don’t miss this place where you can get the best lassi. This place is located in the gallis and somehow difficult to locate, they don’t have the seating arrangements and the place is kind of congested. I had the normal sweet lassi which they made in front of our eyes and was the best lassi I had so far in my entire life. The lassi was so rich, thick and full of Makhan. This place is well known for the pedha lassi. I didn’t try the pedha lassi but took their pedhas to home and they were too good. Overall, go and grab the glass of lassi.

Hey Foodies, this is one of the most famous Lassi Place in whole Amritsar. Peeda lassi is a must try item of this place. It's costs around 85 rupees. It was not very crowded around 1-2 pm.

The lassi at Gian Di Lassi was the best. It was made from using the fresh curd, malai (cream) and white butter, topped with their special peda. The taste was really delicious and it was thick as well.

Amritsar's ancient Lassi shop is a must-visit gem! Being almost a century old, it's conveniently located near the Golden Temple. The huge glass they use guarantees a satisfying portion. Topped with loads of cream, it's a delightful treat. The Lassi itself is incredibly delicious, almost a meal on its own. Although there's a small indoor seating area, standing and savoring the flavors is recommended. Overall, this shop offers a fantastic Lassi experience in Amritsar. Don't miss it!

It's a very simple & tasty lassi. The true essence of makhan as a topping on lassi is a pleasure to taste buds. You can have half lassi anytime even if you are not hungry. The rabri is second thing to try here as it's so pure & not too sweet.

Can have it for one time the way it made it in the traditional way. We had peda lassi it's too good. A hundreds of year old lassi shop located in Amirster, Punjab. Good taste but more sugar content. (Can be reduced a little).

I visited Amritsar for the first time and I wanted to explore and have best food in Amritsar. So I started watching vblog on youtube and got to know about Gian di lassi to be honest it was not worth the hype because I’ve tried a lot of lassi’s so I know surely it was fresh and delicious but not up to my expectations. I’ve tried Punjabi lassi & special peda lassi both were great.

The Peda Lassi is amazing. Peda Lassi - 5/5 The texture, taste, and overall company of the peda will make your experience delightful. Their Lassi is already a famous refreshing beverage and we all know peda is a hit alone too. With this lassi, make it a sweet and refreshing beverage with an extravagant taste

Famous place to grab a glass of lassi at Amritsar. Their famous malai wali lassi and peda lassi are must try. But the sweetness was on the higher side. Half Glass - ₹30 and Full ₹50.

Taste Zabardast. Tried peda lassi. Hand crafted . Filled with fresh cream and butter. Too tasty, filling and ofcourse very yummm.😋 Don't miss this in Amritsar. Prefer to have it in a steel glass to enjoy more authentic style. Near old regent cinema.

The place is operational since more than 100 years and serves amazing punjabi and peda lassis makhan maarke. The portion size is good and the lassi consistency is also nice. Cost - 80 bucks per glass

A must visit place in Amritsar! Giani Lassi was recommended by a close friend and decided to visit there. I tried the Peda Lassi. It is made right in front of your eyes and just one glass of this is enough to fill you up for 5 hours. ❤

  • 3/5 Moodie F. 1 year ago on Google
Visited the place on the day of Diwali. Unfortunately because of rush they weren't providing peda lassi. So had tried the plain lassi. Taste I would say is okay as I had tasted the similar kind of lassi in other part of Amritsar. Separately I have also tasted the peda which was soft fresh Thanks to social media (YouTube) this place has become a hype. Parking is a challenge as it is middle of the market

  • 5/5 Pratik T. 2 years ago on Google
I would have really regretted if i wouldn't have visited and had a lassi over here. Guys if you are in Amritsar do visit this place they served amazing pure lassi. I had 1 glass and trust me I was full. The quality is truly pure. Don't miss going here. Parking available ❌ Wheelchair accessible entrance ❌

What an authentic pede wali lassi they serve!? I had the pede wali lassi (with malai). Cost ₹100 Their other lassis were for ₹45 and ₹55. I walked till this shop crossing kapde wali market (cloth market) from partition museum, so it took me 15 minutes. You can take e rickshaws to this place. I earlier thought i would be able to drink it in one go, but I tell you its so tasty but in good quantity so it takes time. Owner of the shop was so generous that I asked him if I can get a bowl to filter the malai and eat it separately. It took me a while to drink the lassi. Meanwhile, I saw the recipe of making pede wali lassi. All I have to say, if I will visit there I am going to this place without second thoughts!!!!!

Most famous and one of the oldest shops in Amritsar is Gian Di Lassi where you will get to taste heavy yet sumptuous Lassi which will make your day. Butter and cream are used as topping over the main Lassi which makes it heavy food item thus making you full for quite a long time.
