I’ve stayed at Byte for 3 nights and here’s my review: +really nice ambience. The first thing that you notice when arrive. Feels like it’s created by nice people. Homey feel +attention to details (stickers with guests reviews, a place to leave the things that you don’t need anymore like toiletries or books; stickers with kind reminders about the house rules) +big kitchen and a kitchen table. You can make your own food, there’s a fridge to store food +airy space +quite ok rooms with towels and toiletries included, a small desk and a tiny balcony. The shower and a toilet is one really small space, be ready for that. When you take a shower, you basically take it next to the toilet like in many places in Malaysia, China and Indonesia +brekkie (toasts and spreads, coffee, tea) included and water +motorbikes are available for rent (I paid 80k a day which is a fair price), ask the owner -AC is not powerful, but ok -the internet is really slow, I was using my 4g all the time because WIFI was so slow -located a bit far from the center so you’d definitely need to gojek or get a motorbike but it’s not a problem, just so you know I definitely recommend the place for it’s homey feel, affordable price and attention to details.

This place apparently has very high review in airbnb however, I had a horrible experience. Here is why, there's mosquitoes everywhere including the bedroom. I got more than 10 mosquito bits the last night I stayed. Also, the shower inside the bedroom is super tiny including the toilet. There's no sink for you to brush your teeth/wash your face. I don't know how previous guests deal with it. In order to close your bathroom door you have to either sit down in the toilet or squeeze yourself inside first. This place is horrific!!

This is one of my favorite homestay at Jogja! The host very good in communication, really help me. Eazy check in and check out. The room so clean, cozy. Really comfortable for your stay. There's no TV on your room. But TV on the 2nd floor. But the wifi good so you can streaming on your gadgets. Has breakfast you can eat toast, or you can buy indomie and cooked by yourself at patry. Overall, i loved it ❤️

Room is small but bathroom is kind of the smallest I have seen. So why 5 stars? Because it's super clean, very well managed and best value for money. Owner is super helpful, knows everything about Jogja and as such can guide you properly. The check-in was super simple and there were snacks available for us.

I LOVED IT!!! So easy to find... They have small carpot for 3 or 4 cars and lots of bikes... No smoking... For sure... Clean!!! They have cleaners who always do the cleaning everyday... They include bread and couple of jams for your breakfast... Also they have water heater and ac inside the room. The only drawback is they don't have wash basin... Great place... I enjoy stay here...

Great place to stay for few nights. Amazing people and nice contact via Airbnb with the hostess. Do not expect the cleanest bathrooms but the rooms are ok :) thank you for a nice stay

I love this place! Always staying here whenever I visit jogja. Super clean and quiet. The room has a big mirror (which I love) and amenities like towels, soap, shampoo. We can also borrow iron, hair dryer, and even praying equipment. The minus is they dont provide toothpaste 🥲 so had to bring one. The place always serve bread for breakfast.

I really love this place! It was feel like home, they have kitchen for you to cook and refill water. Every morning the host will provide you bread and i cooked scramble eggs too! They have some seasoning, eggs, noodle, spaghetti, sauce, bread in refrigerator. Free to use and cook. You can bring motorcycle/bike here too. Will come back again!
