This used to be a place for storing teak wood, or a place where teak wood that had been felled was placed in this place for some time, after which it was dry it was then auctioned off for sale. This place belongs to Perhutani. When I was little, the activities were busy, there was a lot of wood, there were a lot of employees, but now it seems very quiet, this may be related to the productivity of teak wood in the Trowulan forest, which has been decreasing since there was large-scale forest looting in the 2000s.

It's not bad that it's now a place to relax, it used to be a TPK (wood storage place) managed by Perhutani

Wow, did you know, friends, that this place actually once had a truck route that crossed the forest all the way to Jombang to transport its wood products during the Dutch East Indies era.
