This used to be an old DoubleTree by Hilton till covid. Virtually nothing has since changed except that it's gotten even older, moldier, more outdated, and all standards and services have since dropped even more or completely stopped. Staff standards and abilities have also dropped. Pay a little extra and stay at a cleaner, fully serviced, more comfortable and modern place instead.

Pretty decent hotel for the price. Location is great and nearby to the Metro. Rooms are huge, relatively comfortable. Gym is workable. I felt safe walking at night around the area. But Uber is everywhere.

The main positive thing is location! Rooms and furniture are old, windows can’t be opened, so everything is wet, some staff got mold. Pool is ok, but beds are old and no umbrellas or shadow on terrace. It’s prohibited to smoke near the pool, but of course some persons do this and you can see cigarettes everywhere, even in the plants. Kitchen is ok, but not for everyday cooking, equipment is dirty, a kettle was broken and no one brought a new one , a line for 1 coffee maker, total mess in storage boxes and fridge. I felt myself like in the hostel, but here you can meet guests of different ages, even kids.

5 stars experience, great room, friendly staff and the pool has an amazing view!

The room are nice and clean, but they need a bit maintenance, especially the bathroom. I got 2 different rooms and both of them had problem with the rubber on the shower door. It was broken and during the shower the water was going out on the floor. The 2nd room was with a big bed size, really big I have to say and really comfortable. The pool on the roof is a plus, but the jacuzzi is not working…and it seems for long time. It’s near the metro and a some good shops , but specially restaurant and super markets. There are also some clubs not too far and the area called ‘red lights’… The staff at the reception is really nice, the maintenance guys a bit less. I was there for 4 nights and I have to say that it was a good place to stay and the price was also ok.

Hotel is centrally located in the city. Safe area to walk at night or during the day. I’ve stayed here for over 80 days and loved every minute.

This Hotel is very convenient, the front desk staff is outstanding very helpful, rooms are a great size, bathroom shower excellent but no soap, no tissues, no cups for ice, no microwave. The restaurant breakfast was good but needed to be hot not luke warm.

This place could be so much better with a better and more attentive staff. The hotel is nice enough, great location, but waiting to be admitted until almost 4pm was terrible. The restaurant could use a good chef, the one that is there is not very good. There is a common kitchen area, if you're lucky enough to have it to yourself, it may be good to prepare your own meals. Overall its a value stay, just keep thus in mind and you shouldnt be too disappointed.

I stayed a month and had a great time and took a lot of good photos.

Overall, our stay at Studio Coliving Hotel was acceptable for modest budget travelers, with room for improvement to fully live up to its promises and elevate it beyond being just "okay." While not an unequivocal recommendation for a return stay, Studio Coliving Hotel remains a viable option for those seeking budget-friendly accommodations in Panama City.

Service is very bad we should ask for it after many times in 4 days , The rooms have a connection door in between,. The reason why you will be lessening words like Miss asking Mr juan , please don't take it out and leave it inside., in spanish from 9pm to 4am , so ,,,,,that means it is not a family hotel at all. We asked for a new bedroom but they never responded. ... you get what you pay I guess, but average are so many other better options at the same price.

We took a tour of this spot and I was pleasantly surprised. This use to be a hotel so the rooms were nice and private with their own bathroom. The hallways were dark to me. Clients have to share an outdoor kitchen but I was surprised at how nicely it was appointed. They also share a laundry room. It reminds of dormitories back in the day. Nice pool area! The lounge lobby was very nice as well.

Great location, a block from underground metro. 20 min walk to Balboa boulevard. Nice roof top pool and kitchen area for longer term stays

I come regularly for doing some business. The location and the quality of the rooms are great. The price is great too. They should up their restaurant game.

(+) Location was quite central, but not super busy. Staff were helpful. (-) Poor breakfast options: only eggs, toast or pancakes and meat options. It could have fruits and more options for vegetarians. No Wi-Fi connection in my first room. I also had issues with cockroaches (baratas), I killed 3 small ones on my second evening and I blocked the drain to avoid more. I asked for help, but they did not have even a product to kill them. But a few days later, more cockroaches leaving from the sink. And then pushed for moving to a new room, and staff were helpful and helped me with that. Pillows could be more comfortable, and I couldn’t regulate the water temperature in the first room (only hot water in the shower). Changing the things above, and with a bit of renovation, the experience would have been good.

Good place to visit Panama City and work. A bit noisy in the common areas, but bedroom desks are more than OK. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom very spacious.

This would have received at least 3 stars but due to the poor service and issues with rooms this unfortunately deserves the current rating. A few good and bad things about this hotel... POSITIVES * Excellent location, at the corner of the El Carmen Metro Station, walking distance to shops fast food & restaurants. * Big spacious rooms * Clean facilities * Onsite gym, pool, kitchen and laundry area NEGATIVES * Rooms list "city view" but windows are frosted/dirty and you can only see shadows. Only good for light.. NO VIEW. But you pay for a room with a city view. * Bathoom suffers from condensation and water droplets form on the roof. This to the point that black mold has formed and the water droplets are so much that it runs out of the bathroom. * NO customer service prior to arrival. Facebook no replies to comments or messages, messages to booking quieries no response either. * Room service is "occasional" had room cleaning once in one week (and this was after 2 calls to reception to have it done). Excuses given: Water will form if the a/c is not on all the time at a certain temperature. So this hotel you need to have the a/c to avoid mold. If you're staying over 10 days that counts as long stay and they won't clean your room every day. Or for that matter, any day because it took 3 calls on 3 different days before someone came to clean. Hotel has potential but needs much more work.

For the price you are paying, I have absolutely zero complains. It use to be Double Tree by Hilton before, also the mattress is super comfy!! Best sleeps ever.

Centrally located this is a good place to stop in Panama City if you need to get things done or want to enjoy a break. The staff are helpful and friendly. The metro is around the corner.

This hotel is nothing luxurious but the staff are nice and I found it clean. The location is great right next to the metro. AC works well. Internet was fine but was a little slow at times (when streaming video buffered a couple times).

Note: I don’t recommend the restaurant inside the hotel. It’s apart from the hotel and the service is very bad. Specially for katherina (the waiter)! Looking forward to enjoy the hotel again.
