Very delicious Yemen style mandi chicken rice, the chicken is cooked underground. The restaurant staff Yazzan is extremely friendly. Don’t miss out this amazing dish if you ever come to Jerash. It’s 3JD per plate.

Point to note: cash only After visiting so many overprice restaurant and experiencing different tourist trap, I would like to highly recommend this restaurant to traveler who want a affordable lunch option next to the Jerash historical site. We forget to ask about the price of meal in advance, but luckily its reasonably priced, around 4~5JOD per person, including drinks/ water. The taste of the rice is good with raisin and so many different sauce to mix. The owner is also nice and honest guy, also very helpful. Worth mention: the toilet is a decent one, which is not so common in Jordan

We went here for dinner and had a great experience. The chicken and rice (with various sauces) was delicious. One of the employees kindly went to get us some non-alcoholic mojitos from another shop nearby, which was really appreciated. And the bill was very reasonable. Bravo!

Stopped here fro lunch after visiting the Archeological site. The staff were very nice, sitting us in a private booth with AC. Menu consisted in traditional rice with chicken with bean and tomato soups. Very big portions that were very tasty.

Really nice and accomodating staff, we were a group of 7 and they moved tables to make room for us. Yes, there is only 1 dish, chicken Mandi - so if you don't want that, don't come here. However the rice is soooo good! The salsa and sauces they serve are also excellent. The price is very reasonable less than 5euro with drinks

Amazing rice and chicken, really wonderful. I really recommend it for tourist, especially that it is really close to the historical centre. The staff firstly let us taste everything and we choose the type of rice we loved the most. Additionally, we got some bonus meals (including amazing bean soup) and really nice fresh mango juice.
