Wonderful location, hosts and apartment. Clean, spacious and a little bit of luxury. Good kitchem and equipment for making family meals and lovely table for eating at. Children loved the smart TV and board games in the apartment. Beautiful views of the sea all around with binoculars for some dolphin spotting. Incredible sunrises and sunsets. Lovely garden for evening meals and drinks, and a handy hosepipe for cleaning off after regular beach trips. Cullercoats bay is so close you can get changed at home and walk there in a few mins. Business near by giving kayak, paddle boarding lessons etc, they were amazing. Will 100% be coming back many times

We had a fantastic stay at your lovely home. The apartment was everything we needed and more. Amazing views and fantastic location. The whole house was extremely well maintained and very welcoming. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming. I would highly recommend that you stay here.

This is a gorgeous place to stay, We were staying in the Lockout Apartment and I felt I was in period drama film set with a four-poster bed and fascinating details everywhere to discover and admire. We both felt comfortable and relaxed, cosseted and spoiled in this spacious apartment. The sound of the waves below lulled us to sleep and the glorious ever-changing view of the sea entertained us by day. I still miss the excellent toaster in the kitchen! Highly recommended for a super treat...and if like us going out isn't an option I can't think of a more beautiful place to stay inside! Thank you thank you!!

This was a lovely apartment. So homely and warm for November month we stayed. We will come back here as we really loved it. Will have the room with a kitchen tho so we can cook our food.. Definitely going back there tho. Truly this is lovely n a beautful place whitley bay is. Easy accessible to the metro to go to Newcastle n then the train ststion to go to other places. We visited Edinburgh also whilst here in whitley bay. It is 2 and half hour away so we thought why not. Edinburgh is beautful

Wonderful location and view. Central to Cullercoats Bay and Whitley Bay. Priory Apartment.. everything you need. Kitchen has all the equipment you'll need to use. Tea, coffee, milk, wine and biscuits to get you started on arrival, was very welcome. Comfortable and homely. Good bed linen and towels. Very restful week, with plenty of walking, running and a dip in the sea! I'll definitely be back! Thanks

The apartments are spotlessly clean, well equipped, spacious, and complete with welcome wine and biscuits. We really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves.

A fanastic place to stay. If i could give a higher star rating, then i would. The mere location of southcliff apartments took my breath away, along with the quirky yet timeless style of the apartment. It had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean. Given the current pandemic , it was obvious the owners had necessary measures in place to ensure safety of guests as well as immaculate cleanliness. The pillows and mattress were out of this world comfortable. Whilst sat up in bed admiring the sea views from out the bay windows, it really did feel as though I was still dreaming. Luckily, even in February I was able to enjoy sitting out in the garden to appreciate these views. It was medicine for my soul. I later sat reading my book next to the bay window before taking a short walk down on to the beautiful cullercoats bay. Around the corner was where I'd get a coffee and delicious food (takeout during the pandemic) from the boatyard cafe. Spicy cauliflower and mango wrap was my favourite. I went for late night strolls along the sea front and felt very safe walking solo. Booking direct with the apartment was easy. Needing a few days away whilst I had repairs done to my house, this time perfectly as a much needed getaway.As a frontline worker during the pandemic it was the respite I needed. Telling the owner my circumstances, I was blown away by her kindness when she refused my payment. I was already blown away by the sea views, interior, cleanliness and overall experience,but this then left me speechless. I whole heartedly recommend southcliff apartments!!! I will DEFINITELY be coming back to stay again, but next time for longer!

Beautifully located and well equipped apartment. Right on the coast, I was able to watch the sun rise over the sea svery morning, and go for lovely strolls along the gorgeous beaches of Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth, all on the doorstep. Everything was handled really efficiently and communication before arrival was excellent. Highly recommended.

Just returned from I think our 7th stay at Southcliff Apartments. If you intend to stay in the beautiful and atmospheric North East of England look no further than Southcliff. Housed in a beautiful building overlooking Browns Bay, there are three floors of accomodation- we stay on the top floor in the Priory Penthouse with lovely views of the Bay and beyond. Facilities are of a very good standard and a complete Sky sports/ Sky Cinema / BT Sport package tops things off nicely. The house is well positioned to explore the attractions of Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and Tynemouth being located smack bang in the middle of them. Nothing is too much trouble for Shana and her team who are all a credit to the hospitality sector.
