THEE KULTUR, or The Culture is a traditional holland cuisine restaurant, clearly such influence since colonialism has never been weary in culinary wise. A tidbit for foreigners who crave for local food in Indonesia, so to speak. After having ordered a few things on menu, they do have strong taste, however they are quite overpriced in my opinion, although I fathom it's considerably a high-class restaurant. Thee Kultur is and will remain a cozy place providing not many customers aren't dining there at the same time. Despite it being a luxurious place to dine at, alas it's rather small and compact. Last but not least, thanks to the FnB servers for their hospitable service and warm greetings. I would appreciate more if they provided a closer parking area as I suppose people would instantly lose their motivation when it's raining.

Love the place. Love the atmosphere. So classy and comfortable. I have 1 problem with their toilet tho, somehow everytime someone open the toilet door the smell that came out from the toilet was just horrible. They have prayer room in the back of their building. The service was quick, one lady waitress were more friendly than the other. Price was affordable, normal and worth it. I will definitely come back again.

I really loveee the atmosphere... Its such a cozy, romantic, vintage restaurant. The taste is good, you can find unique variety of gelato in here. Plan to come back again soon!

I really love the ambience with old style interior. For the price is quite expensive but it worth to try. They have some delicious foods. And their staffs are friendly.

The ambiance is totally good. Particularly for those who love classic java style. Foods are great, but mine (nasi bakar cumi) is too salty. The friendly service and the place could be my reason to come back even though it is located far away from the heart of the city

This place offers you a place that higher up colonial enjoy during their time colonize Indonesia. This cafe used to be part of an old sugar factory that operated during colonial era. Place is wonderful, in front of a museum, "The Heritage". Food is good, the tea just perfect as always. They sell some tea product for you to enjoy at your home.

Previously is an old building, part of fabric; now become nice and clean resto. Instagramable and kekinian. Traditional kuliner from Solo with present touch. The taste is great, the price is affordable.

This place is so cozy & comfortable to spend time with friends and family. It offers many kinds of Javanese traditional dishes and drinks. The price is quite expensive for college students but it's worth with the taste. If you wanna feel natural spot and atmosphere it can be your reference place.

I have been try every single menu, the taste is verry good. The place is cozy, verry instagramable that's good for selfie.

Great place, has a nostalgic feel to it, food is decent although Grilled Ribs with rice was underwhelming, the other food menus was really satisfying such as the Ice Avocado Dessert, Wagyu Fried Rice and many more, the drinks are also superb especially the teas and special Indonesian drinks.

Lovely interior and pretty spacious from group events. All their snacks were great, particularly their kue cubit and pisang goreng. Interior is wonderful too and plenty of insta-friendly photo spots :) Service was not bad, considering we reserved a group space and arrived in a few big waves of people. Will be back for more snacks!

Very well design and ambience to hang out and meeting

"Thee kultur" is a new place to enjoy local food at solo (sukoharjo) . In area of the old historic tabacco factory...taste food is nice, taste good specialy rujak spices chicken (ayam bumbu rujak). But the soto nyonya chicken (soto ayam nyonya) taste is so so....we can enjoy a nice tea too at the bar or relax at open space. Maybe next to taste other local food at thee kultur

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Thee Kultur and highly recommend! Food is delicious with a good variety of things to try. The staff and service impeccable. Great ambience - feels lively, but relaxed and the same time and not noisy. Would highly recommend and will returns.

Great place! Food presentation like in a hotel, friendly service, all clean -even toilets- and the price was lower than expected. Strongly recommended.
