It's actually a really nice place to hangout. They have a lots of acitivities to do as well but for a minimum of 25 pax, as there were only us two so we couldn't do anything there. However they also have accomodation and a nice small warung (coffee shop) where you can enjoy a rice paddies field views.

I took some picture here for my pra wedding photo documentation in 2017. Rate for rent this place is 600k, but you can take photo in everywhere (tembi's area) and you will get vouchers for eating in their restaurant. For me, it's a cheap with the facilities they gave for me. Easy parking for cars and motorcycles. Good services, good view with nature view. This place have a javanese concept architecture.

Have a great time swimming here. You can swims with a beautifull landscape. The price so affordable, with IDR 45.000 you'll get the entrance ticket, food (fried rice or noodle), ice tea and towel.

I was disappointed with the service received at the restaurant. I requested to eat lunch by the poolside. They informed me it was full. I went and visited the pool and found it was empty and tables was available. I confirmed with Restaurant that there was tables available by the pool and wished to eat there. After paying for the food I sat by the pool and waited for more the 40 minutes for the food. To my dismay the restaurant which was empty decided not to deliver the food to the pool which was less then 1 mins walk. I directly complained to the restaurant as now all food was cold and not eatable. Terrible service considering the village Tembi has so much to offer. I would recommend other local restaurants instead of this facility such as Yabbiekayu or D’omah.

They have nice small swimming pool with the view from the rice fields. Very queit and peaceful. They also have rooms to rent. If you want to swim there but you dont stay at their places, you can pay 50k rupiah and get a meal and a drink plus towel.

Nice boutique eco-hotel seemingly in the sticks surrounded by paddy fields. Rooms were great, staff kind and helpful, food was pretty basic. The call to prayers and sermons from the surrounding mosques is pretty deafening so light sleepers beware (normally I sleep through the Imam’s calls). The kids liked the place and it has a small museum.

I visited Tembi Rumah Budaya as part of a school field trip. The accomodation is clean and food served is good Javanese cuisine. The areas used at the venue for the activities is very adequate. Staff are friendly and helpful. They did run out of bottled water the day before we left and this wasn't restocked so all of us nearly 50 people purchased water from the local shop.

I stay in the house called Morangan, next to the pool. It got balcony and clear view to the rice fields. You could see farmers and their bull tractor. The pool is using a little bit too much chlorine, I think. Still great regardless, just don't try to drink it. Too bad I didn't get to see the museum. Great place overall!

This place is located at the outskirts of Yogyakarta. It offers many cultural activities such as batik painting, cooking, dance class, gamelan class etc. Just booked a class and visit. Or can also stay in their bungalows. The scenery is quite the sight with mountains & paddy fields.
