    This lake is a long water-body at Nabadwip town. At some places, swamps have grown. Actually this lake is an old and disconnected stream of Ganga. Ganga changed its course various times inside and outside Nabadwip town, changing map of this city. However the eastern part of this lake has been polluted due to mixing of chemicals from dyeing factories alongside bank.

    This lake is called as "Mori Ganga" or "Chara Ganga" in local languages. Actually it was a part of river Ganga. You may have a look for Bhagirathi River Satellite View to see the truth. Now this lake used for Fishing. Hope this will help you. Thanks :)
