One
of
the
oldest
temples
in
Jaynagar
Majilpur
area.
This
place
has
a
lot
of
historical
significance
and
is
almost
300+
years
old.
The
temple
atmosphere
is
very
calming.
Though
Radha
and
Krishna
are
the
main
deities
here,
but
various
other
idols
are
also
worshipped
here.
In
every
Bengali
new
year,
the
deities
are
shifted
to
the
outer
sanctum
which
is
open
to
the
public.
Other
deities
from
various
locations
in
Jaynagar
area,
are
also
brought
in
this
outer
sanctum
in
that
particular
day.
The
deities
are
shifted
from
one
place
to
another
on
spectacularly
decorated
'Jhulas'
and
they
are
carried
by
people
with
lots
of
enthusiasm,
faith
and
devotion.
Also,
the
holi
or
the
locally
called
'দোলযাত্রা'
is
celebrated
here
with
great
purity
and
devotion.
