Favorite place for breakfast when going to Solo from Jogja. The place is easy to notice as it’s right on the street route. Parking for car is easy. This place provides very delicious soto. The portion size is perfect for me though maybe it is not enough for some people. They only provide soto so no other menu available. It has lots of side dishes and snacks, from tempe, tahu, satay, egg, and others. Quite complete in my opinion. If you’re here in Sunday morning expect for crowded visitors. You probably have to wait to get your seat. But their service is fast actually.

I came here for breakfast. The portion of the main dish,soto seger, was quite small. However,there were various side dishes served on the table and most of them are really tasty.

One of the recommended dish to eat for breakfast. The soto tastes fresh, the tempe was crunchy and the sate paru cuttings were big. Not to mention the hot tea tastes great. The difference between Mbok Giyem's soto to others is the fried onion pieces that makes it more special.

A lot of side dish choices. The serving bowl is small not on a regular bowl which won’t make you overload. And the place is easy to find. The price is not so expensive. The taste just so so.

Visited the place en route home to Jakarta from Yogyakarta. Came here for breakfast and I have to admit, they make awesome soto and their selection of gorengan is top notch. You are seated and you can order the soto either together (rice and soup) or separate. Then, you can walk to the gorengan bar. You grab a plate and start taking whatever you’d like and you eat it with the soto. Very delicious and it definitely will be one of my comfort foods. The price, as always in Yogyakarta, is very reasonable.

it's the 3rd time I came here for breakfast during my way going back to Solo. The taste is always yummy and it's perfect for breakfast. One of the most thing that u must try in the city!

the place is very strategic, next to a big roundabout, not very far from the city. quite easy to park your motorcycle, but difficult to park your car in busy hour. the taste, i might say nice but not great. they also sell some sates exclude to your soto. price around moderate, since this place quite famous and placed on national route

It was nice place, always crowded in the morning, craving for breakfast. Serving time very fast, enjoy selecting ur own favorite satay at the satay area.

Good food, easily accessible location. Only downside is that the place could be crowded on eating hours, so time ur visit. But a 5 star because of the good food👌

Local favorite and located near crowded junction at Jogja-Solo main road. They opened from early morning so it's ideal for taking breakfast here if you travel near this area.

Soto Segeer Mbok Giyem is the only thing I always miss from Klaten. Surely we can have the Soto from anywhere else outside Klaten, but the best experience is always the OG. Soto daging (meat soup) from SSMG is one of my comfort food, never failed to lift my spirit whenever I feel under the weather or down.
