I have a service animal and had volunteered him for their show in order to help raise money for KC Pet project. The doorman tried to refuse me entry, asked for the dogs papers, and was denied service after proving his service dog status.. in complete violation of ADA regulations. The night ended with the same doorman making up some random excuse, hunting us down to find us sitting alone, and kicking us out anyways. This place is supposed to be a place of inclusion and acceptance.. but only if you fit their bill of worthy of said acceptance

I had been meaning to come here earlier but made my first visit after the pandemic for my mother's birthday. There's a 10 dollar cover charge and IDs are checked at the door- cool cool no underage kiddos here. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly, bartenders, bouncer, you name it. The drag show was right on time and super fun! The drag queens and kings have great shows and song choices too, they're definitely fun and full of energy! The drinks were good but definitely strong. The bomb pop honest to God tastes exactly like one. Keep in mind it's cash only so be prepared with cash or use the ATM in the building. The place itself is pretty big with multiple levels but if you want to sit close to the stage for any shows get there earlier as it's harder to see at the tables in the far back area closer to the bar.

Was in town for the weekend for work. Loved the crowd. They don't accept credit cards which was highly unexpected, thankfully my friend had his atm card because I did not.

From Arizona and first time being here and am pretty disappointed. It’s Friday night and there is a drag show. The show was supposed to start at 10pm and it started at 10:20. Not a big deal. The issue is the Friday night host doesn’t know how to keep things moving. There was a (very) drunk girl in the crowd celebrating her birthday that literally was trying to steal the show and the host spend a little over 30 minutes entertaining this drunk girl. While about 50-60 others sat and watched, while expecting a drag show. It’s now 11:23 and in the one hour of the show going, we had two drag queens perform, one saxophonist, and one Elvis impersonator. So in 1 hour 4 people performed. I didn’t know we were going to be paying a $10 cover to have the host sit and keep a drunk birthday girl happy and talk about non sense. Let’s keep it moving and keep the show going. Needless to say we would never come back here especially on a Friday night. Very disappointing.

This place would be so much better if the DJ had some new/better music, or change it up in some way. its the same stuff every saturday and it really ruins the otherwise great time. Great lights, great drag shows, good drinks- Really Bad music on saturdays.

This is one of the BEST bars around! I love the atmosphere and the enthusiasm of the entertainers are amazing! I’m from Tulsa and this is a highlight of my yearly KCMO trip. You guys are amazing and keep rocking it!! See you next year!

Had a great first time experience at this bar! The drag show was why we visited. The queens were amazing and friendly! However, there was an issue with the audio. We were sitting in a booth at the back of the bar. Everyone in our group struggled to hear the music and none of us could understand what was being said on the mic. Even one of the queens stopped at our table during the performance and she said how hard it was to hear where she was in the song back there. We also didn't appreciate the bartenders slamming and dropping glass bottles all night long. It was super loud and scared everyone multiple times.

This place is a really good vibe. Good music. Drink specials. Bartenders are friendly. Having separate areas depending on the night you're trying to have (drag show, bar, leather store). I enjoyed myself more than I expected and could've spent the entire night there.

I came here on Christmas Eve with my friend because we were in town and they were open and a highly rated LGBTQ+ bar. I wish we would have had more time here. We came before we had tickets for a movie to get a quick drink. The people were so friendly. Everyone there felt like they seemed to know each other and were family and they really welcomed us and made us feel like we were a part of the group. It's too bad we couldn't stay longer but if we are ever in town again we will certainly stop back in. Also the drinks were very cheap.

Great bar! Easy to order a drink and feel comfortable. The bar was clean with a nice decor. Highly recommend checking it out!

This place would have to be my most favorite place to hang out at and dance the night away. They are always so welcoming and wonderful. The vibe is everyone is welcomed and that is exactly how it feels, like your hanging at Home with a bunch of awesome people and extraordinary personalities!!!

This establishment has been a great and fun location to come and unwind with some great staff and amazing local customers. But if you ever feel like going for a happy hour Saturday and Sunday is the place to be!

Nice atmosphere & staff, just pretty pricey drinks. The bar tender I encountered also kept more of my money than he was supposed to, but...oh well. Still had a fun time tho :)

Horrid service from the front bar. The older male bartender is not only rude, but seemingly inconvenienced to be bothered to pour a drink. Entertainment on a Thursday was as dismal as the attendance. Not at all welcoming to an out-of-town visitor. This might be an ok place and a favorite of locals, but if you're visiting KC, I'd look elsewhere. Overall, a terrible experience, especially for my first in KC.

Fun, welcoming, and unassuming atmosphere. Great drag shows, everyone is just having a blast and the vibes are amazing. It was cash only the night I visited but they do have an ATM inside.

If I wanted to listen to the awful music they play on the dance floor I would go to any retail store on the plaza, other than that it’s cool

It's always good to walk in this place. I love all of the staff. Drinks are delicious too! There's a restaurant next door that has great Mexican food and their kitchen is open until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays!

My wife and I came to Kansas City to be married. We were hoping for a place to have our first dance, and we got SO MUCH MORE THAN WE COULD HAVE HOPED FOR. We met a new family. We were so blessed to be welcomed with open arms, lots of hugs, and an INCREDIBLE staff and customer base. Never in my entire life have I felt as much love as we received on our special day! We will be back to celebrate every year! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

Fun place!! We were in town for my best friend’s bachelorette party and we ended the night here!! I love how they have TV screens in the next room so if you don’t get a seat near the stage you can still see what’s happening in that room and you don’t miss the awesome performances!!! Everybody was amazing and my friend had a blast! I would definitely go back anytime I’m in town!!!!

One of my favorite queer bars/clubs in KC! Very fun atmosphere and open dance floor with great music after drag performers finish. Make sure you get cash to tip them! The drinks are a little pricey but are good strength. The only issue is that although the owners are trans-affirming, the atmosphere isn’t the most inviting.

Turned 21 this weekend and went out Friday & Saturday… thinking of going again Tn (Sunday) lol. Drag show was a lot of fun but we cut it short to go upstairs to dance. Upstairs is more edm music but it’s a vibe and downstairs I think is more top 40 vibes. Definitely had a great time both nights, I love how inviting and inclusive the atmosphere is along with the loads of nice, fun people. Drinks aren’t too expensive, but they’re not cheap (they are a strong pour though). Def recommended Missys if you’re looking for a great night!

Been coming here for years when we come to town. And like everything else...it has changed. We enjoy the shows and sometimes the music. And just people watching....but that has definately changed. It is interesting to watch who gets in the door and who doesnt "without" paying the cover on weekends. It would also be nice if the "str8" crowd (yes mainly women) had their own drag/show bar to go to and let others truly enjoy this one. But as long as they spend their "very" few dollars,I guess that is all that matters. We still enjoy Missie Bs.

Kheaton has truly made my experience in Kansas City the best. He is warm, friendly and inviting. He has gone above and beyond in making me and my friends feel welcome in a new city. I wish I could feel so welcome in every city I visit. The world would only be better with more Kheatons in it! I know I will be missing him not being a local bartender when I head home to California.

Normally I would rate it much higher, but after going there to dance the night away, I paid $10 to get in and listen to Indian music. Nothing wrong with Indian music but not for a Saturday night at a place that is considered one of the better dance places in town. Even the drag show was not great with more drag kings than queens. Not a good night.

Kheaton is such a good bartender. We’re visiting from San Diego. He had us laughing instantly and he gave us so much helpful information about visiting Kansas City. We felt so welcomed and comfortable at his bar in a city we’ve never been to. We bartend back home, but didn’t mention it until much later and he still treated us like family. It didn’t hurt that he definitely has the prettiest smile in this town, but it wasn’t just that which got me to write out some appreciation. Good hospitality is hard to find. He’s got it on point. Watching the MC cuss a woman out and physically throw her out for being loud on her 40th bday was enough for me. Was she in the wrong, yes. But the way the performer handled that was absolutely unacceptable. I’ve never seen someone treat a woman like that in public before, especially a customer. Really unacceptable, there’s better ways to handle that situation.. this was not it.

Very nice bar. Great drinks and friendly staff. They do Drag Shows. My favorite is Loretta Martin's happy hour on Friday nights. She actually sings no lip syncing! Check it out.
