This has quickly become my favorite location. Even discounting the exceptional food and service from Burger 809, the staff at Bluewood Brewing have been spectacular in every way I could imagine. They've been accommodating on short notice and have always greeted me with the pleasantry of a well established customer. I'm excited to become a regular at this wonderful place.

If you're looking for a great local brewery with a fun and welcoming atmosphere, Bluewood Brewing is it! I love the friendly atmosphere. The space is large and open, with high ceilings and plenty of seating. Everyone there is knowledgeable and passionate about their beer, always happy to answer any questions and make recommendations based on your preferences. I also really like that they offer creative cocktails and just a bourbon and coke if that's what you want. Also can't forget their awesome patio!

Good beer in a cool old Lemp building. I’d personally add some more historical Falstaff/Lemp pictures and memorabilia on the wall, there are some cans, etc but I’d embrace that history!!

Great Hidden Brewery!!! The Cafe Noir is probably one of the best stouts I have ever had! My wife had the Invasive Wit beer which she enjoyed.

The ambiance of this brewery was nice. It's located in an old, historic building with amazing steelwork on the windows. Unfortunately, this brewery really oozes fear related to covid. It is way over-the-top. You can't provide a custom tip amount, no receipts, must wear a mask (despite having multiple open windows and doors and ple ty of air flow), are met by an awkwardly placed table that doesn't allow you to get to the bar, must have reservations, and you can't get a beer poured in an actual glass (cheap plastic cups will suffice?). Seriously owners?! Lighten up! Most of the beer we found average at best, however, the barleywine and Belgian quad were standouts and the brewers should be commended for those. Beer was slightly overpriced, particularly for the not-so-great location. There is only on street parking and the neighborhood nearby is in the process of being gentrification (aka, make sure you watch your car). This brewery is dog friendly.

The beer was excellent. Not to mention the chill vibe. Also highly recommend the sliders at 809. Can't wait to come back.

A solid brewery in an area w/not much going on. had a 3 piece band going on inside. I went cause they have a nice patio but patio was deserted when I got there. Taco guy at the window. Could be a fun time w/some friends.

Been here three times, beer has been terrible each time. Food is sporadically open and mediocre at best. On top of it all, my husband narrowly adverted a serious injury walking into the restroom. There is a large step up and no signage. BE WARNED. Won't be back.

Consistently one of the best breweries around. They always have phenomenal beer, great staff, great patio, and a cool vibe from the historic digs, and there's good food available! Love this place!

Loved it here! The brewery itself took you back in time, located in a historic building. Made you feel like you're sipping a pint back in the early 1900s. Beautifully done inside. Wonderful selection of craft beers. I was fortunate enough to get their just released Relic barrel aged Stout. Superb! B. Mcarthers taco joint is inside if you need some tasty food. A 40-mile drive for me, but I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This place was awesome - really cool old-school location with great beer. Best we found in our tour of St. Louis breweries, hands down.

Used to love it here when there were burgers. Beer is good but that is it. The new food inside is B. McArthur’s taco shack. There are very few options and their “salsa” is $8 even thought it’s literally just pico not salsa. For chips and salsa, one taco, and a quesadilla it’s $40 then on top of that you are forced to tip at least 15% even though you order on your phone and have to pick up your self. What am I tipping for? No options, overpriced, and poor (no) customer service.

We love going to Bluewood for the beers. All very well done especially sparkly bits. Their patio is great when we bring the dogs up and during the winter we love sitting next to the fireplace.

Stopped in for a flight around opening time on a Friday. Beer was varied and the 4 I tried were really drinkable. Bartender was super nice and relatable. Recommended stop for a cold one.

In my opinion, this is the best brewery in the Midwest. I have never been let down by any beer that I tried.

This is located in a historic part of old St Louis and has great charm and old world ambience. Decent craft beers and a burger place was operating inside the brewery. The main seating area reminded me of a giant den in a castle where you sit with a brew and swap stories in front of a large fireplace.

Fantastic beer and some of the best mead in the city. Their barrel aged releases have been fantastic since before they even opened and their IPAs and fruited berliners can rival some of the best. Good people, good beer, in a great historic space

Wow. Don't miss this stop on a STL brewery tour. Beautiful old building with history. Both the IPA and imperial IPA are really good. Easy to find and easy to park. Nice people behind the bar and really comfortable atmosphere with the fireplace and Christmas decorations.

Super nice spot I would definitely recommend, that being said there's a ton of different breweries in the area but this place puts itself head above shoulders of the rest with such a great knowledgeable beer staff, fantastic representation of all different types of beer flavors, highly recommend

Visited during a soft opening. The beers are great. Excellent inviting atmosphere with a pet friendly patio. Met the friendly local St. Louis owners who were happy to share their passion for their brews and love for St Louis.

Absolutely love this place, great decor, live bands on the weekends, and perfect tasting small batch local brews with an extravagant variety of types and flavors. They also have board games set out for visitors to use and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

My wife and I were at Soulard Market and searched for nearby microbreweries and found this place. Really good beer selection and the food was good, too. We sat on the covered outside area and had a great time.

Really good beer, super nice patio to sit outside but not in the sun, great service. Highly recommend. Bartender (owner?) was super friendly, helped us picking a beer and put on a mask when I approached the bar wearing one. Danke schoen!

Located in the old Lemp Brewery, supposedly extremely haunted. The beer was great, specifically enjoyed the Natalia milk stout.

Great space, lots of historic charm, original furnishings, and open spaces. Patio is superb (open air). Affordable, and solid beers. untapped ratings a bit low in my opinion. Blueberry Hop Tart is amazing. Fast service, would definitely go again!
