This
was
a
HORRIBLE
experience
for
me!!
I
walked
in
with
3-3/12
inches
of
hair;
asked
for
a
trim,
clean-up,
and
tapered
back
with
a
line.
I
walked
out
with
a
buzz-cut.
Ireland
should
not
disrespect
the
profession
of
barbering
by
calling
herself
one.
I
stressed
that
I
did
not
want
a
buzz-cut
THREE
times!!!
I
sat
in
her
chair
and
she
immediately
hacked
off
my
hair
on
top
to
about
a
1/2
inch
length!!!
I
asked
what
in
the
hell
have
you
done?!?
She
tells
me
“oh,
I’m
shaping
it”.
At
that
point,
I
had
no
choice
but
to
let
her
try
to
bring
the
sides
and
back
into
some
form
of
symmetry
with
the
top.
She
butchered
the
sides
and
back,
no
blending
whatsoever!!
My
hair
was
way
closer
than
I
asked
for
or
wanted!!
I
had
gaps
and
clumps
all
throughout!!!
I
finally
asked
her
to
please
stop
cutting
and
taper
and
line
the
back
and
sides.
She
did
not
know
the
difference
between
a
taper
and
a
fade.
She
did
not
know
what
a
baseline
is
nor
how
to
judge
how
high
or
low
to
line
my
neck.
I
literally
had
to
get
a
mirror
and
show
her.
She
did
not
know
what
a
“natural”
neck
lining
was.
It
appears
she
only
knows
how
to
do
“high
fades”
Needless
to
say,
I
was
livid
and
near
tears
when
I
left.
Her
only
explanation
was
“Oh,
I
guess
I
misunderstood
what
you
wanted.”
I
told
her
2x
that
I
only
wanted
a
trim
to
even
my
hair
and
I
wanted
a
back
taper.
I
stressed
3x
that
under
no
circumstances
did
I
want
a
buzz
cut.
If
you
are
truly
a
licensed,
trained,
and
experienced
barber,
how
is
it
possible
that
you
not
know
the
basics?!?!?
Being
a
black
woman,
I
made
the
horrible
mistake
of
letting
a
white
woman
touch
my
hair!!!
Ireland
should
be
dismissed
from
that
shop
and
sent
back
to
school,
to
at
least
learn
the
basics
of
barbering!
Oh,
and
the
lovely
cherry
on
top,
she
charged
me
$55.00!!!
😡
