If you’re looking for a great place to dive in Bali, this is the one. This place was recommended to me, so always started out somewhat confident and it didn’t disappoint. The crew at Tulamben Dive were incredible throughout my stay there going for my Advanced Open Water. I hadn’t been diving in almost a year so they did a quick refresher for me in the pool before taking me on the five dives over two days. All dives were explained well ensuring I was comfortable before, during and after. I can honestly say the whole dive experience was the best from beginning to end I’ve had in my several years of diving. Not only was the crew amazing, but so were the dives. We saw turtles, eels, electric clamps and more alongside the incredible wreck and more. I also stayed at the dive centre, which was super convenient and the bed was the most comfortable, so… if you’re thinking about it, do it.

Amazing diving experience in Bali with this team here. At any time did we feel save. I already had experience but for my partner was it the first time. They managed to overcome fear with him and finally we had a fantastic time and went 2 times this day in different places. (Wrack and the coral garden). really had my best experience diving with tulamben dive.. i trusted pak wayan to curated my dive trip in tulamben.. i got 9 dives in total for 3 days in here. thanks to my dive buddy bli wayan & wayan tekher for always make sure i got my best pictures uh oh and also the staff in villa saudara are very friendly, kadek & her cousin always make sure i won't starved 😂 can't wait to come back soon in tulamben :))

Awesome place to learn diving! Came to do OW and ended up doing Advanced + Nitrox too :) the instructors are all really nice and the sea was easy to dive in! I would recommend staying here if you’re doing the course over a few days too.

First dives after my open water. Such a wonderful experience and time with Awa. 4 dives, Awa was really taking care of us. And he is a really great cameraman I do recommend this diving center : good equipments, full package from food, drive to dives. I fully recommend this center.

The best dive shop so far I have ever went to. The family in Tulamben Dive were extremely welcoming, treated us like family throughout our stay. We stayed at their accomodation, located right beside the dive center. The breakfast, lunches, and occasional goreng pisang treats were the best. We even had countdown celebration as we stayed from 30 Dec - 2 Jan. We even had a babi guling party on the night of 31st - along with endless fireworks, chatting with the entire extended family of divemasters, wives, kids and their dogs. Every morning, we were greeted with bright smiles at 7am, an ungodly time to be so cheery back home. 3 of my friends took an OW course and praised their instructors for being caring and reassuring throughout the course. Another 3 of us were advanced divers and were brought to the famous USAT and Boga wreck along with other dives with sightings of turtles, electric clam, moray eels and so much more! We had a night dive at USAT - saw the resident grouper, a huge lobster, a sleeping turtle and were also treated to a strong underwater current right before we surfaced. Our dive masters, Yuda, Tekut and Wayan were so calm throughout our 5 dives. They were all extremely knowledgable about the dive sites and knew where to hide in the event of currents. Wayan also took over our gopro and started having an underwater shoot with us almost everywhere. Highly recommend the team at Tulamben dive. We will be back!!

No matter who you with just come and dive! There are coaches and dive guides here. Moreover the price is good and reasonable.

I had an amazing time! 5 stars is not enough. It was my first time diving. I was nervous a bit, it was something that I always wanted to do. I’ve completed my Open Water Diver certificate with Tulamben Dive and I would recommend the experience to anyone. You feel 100% safe and relaxed. The coral reef is stunning. This is a family business, they really make sure that you somehow feel as if you were a part of their family. Thank you guys ! I will make sure I come back to this place in the future.

We did the discovery course and it was the highlight of our trip in Tulamben. The instructors were well-equipped, patient and very attentive. Everybody in the company made us feel welcome and part of their little family. They made sure we felt safe and comfortable under the water. Do not hesitate to book with them!

Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place and staff were. Spent four days staying at the villa and diving and everything was perfect. The villa was clean, relaxing, and comfortable and the diving was unreal. All of my dives were one on one which made me way more comfortable as a beginner, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and enjoyable. Wish I had just stayed here my whole time on Bali…

We had an amazing experience! I had a panic attack at the start, but the team did everything to help me relax, and I am so happy they did!! Now, they only thing I want to do is dive! We always got great lunch and they were so considered. We were staying in Amed and they always picked us up. They are friendly, competent and patient. Awa was the absolute best instructor ever! We had amazing dives together, and he made me feel very confortable. After a negative dive experience in the Gilis, I was hesitant to dive again. This dive center is amazing! All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and simply good vibes. I did a day trip of diving with them from Ubud, and they helped me organize the trip and transport all the day before when I contacted them through Google chat! My dives were awesome, my guide made me feel very safe, he showed me a ton of cool fish, octopus, turtle and coral and was also very enthusiastic about getting amazing photos of me in the coral!

Had a fantastic couple of days diving with Tulamben Dive. Very professional and well-run company. My guide Kadek ensured the best and safest experience possible on each dive. Really appreciated all the photos and videos that were taken. I also stayed at their accommodation (Villa Saudara) which is located next to the dive centre. Price was reasonable and the room was lovely and spacious with A.C and breakfast provided. Definitely one of the better companies I have dived with!

Amazing place to scuba diving! I took open water diving license and it was a great decision to do it at this place!! The Diving Instructor was very great, friendly, and everything was well thought. As a student, I could easily understand the lessons! Shout out to Mr Ryan and Mr Wayan! I really recommend this place, if you’re in Bali and want to scuba dive, this place has a lot to offer, from Discovery Scuba Dive, Fun Dive, Open Water Diving License and many more!! If we could give more than 5 stars we would! Great experience with Tulamben Dive. It’s perfect for beginners as you get to start in the swimming pool before the dive. Also great for those who get sea sick, like me. We dove from the shore so no boat required. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. You get a 1:1 diving experience with a dive master so it is very safe. They also take great go pro videos of you. They even offered breakfast and provided lunch! Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Did a 3-fun dive trip here, definitely a great choice! It has been a while since my last dove, but our guide Yuda is kind and patient enough to walk us through all the basics. We are also so happy to see the sea turtle. The photo and video taking services are spot on, great quality and me and my gf loved it. Absolutely recommend it, 5 out of 5.

Had an amazing day diving with Wayan from Tulamben Dive. The shop provided us with excellent equipment and service. We did three dives, each different and saw a lot of different fish and animals. Our dive master, Wayan, was very friendly and experienced. He took multiple photos during our dives so we could just enjoy the experience. At the end of the day, we had about a hundred photos they shared with us to remind us of the great day we had. Couldn’t recommend them more!

This is a great scuba diving center!! I chose this center because of the great reviews and I wasn’t disappointed: they even exceeded my expectations. I did the open water diver course with Ryan, who is incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and a fun instructor. I am an anxious person, so Ryan made sure I learnt to keep calm under water and get my anxiety under control. After the course I did a couple of fun dives with Yuda, who was an amazing guide and person to dive with. He was very calm, friendly and made sure I felt comfortable during the dives. If you want more details, keep reading. Here is my list of pros and cons: ✅ Pros: - 100% locally owned with 100% local divers - They do reef conservation work during the offseason - You’ll feel very safe because they usually have a guide for every two persons. This is also great, because this way they can make sure you are not damaging corals. - Equipment in a very good condition - They set up the equipment for you, if you are doing fun dives… the only thing you have to do is put it on and enjoy the dive! - Great location: quiet and a great place to chill - Under water pictures and videos - Free hotel pick up - Free lunch, coffee and water (don’t know if the lunch applies if you do just one dive or snorkeling) - Towels ❌ Cons: - You might find yourself missing Tulamben dive the next time you go scuba diving in a different location

I already did open water, advance adventure and now went to rescue diver, react right and nitrox and as always it was an amazing experience. The staff always with a smile and ready to make you comfortable, and if you want to really learn and evolve in your diving skills this is the place to go with all the experience and professional instructors. Tulamben Dive, which I visited to obtain skin scuba open water certification and have fun diving. The accommodation and food were good, and all the staff were friendly, so I had a great time. I plan to come back to use the PADI certification I acquired.

I went to several diving centers and Tulamben Dive offers very flexible choices for both kids and parents. My family tried the first time snorkeling and they all enjoyed it! Originally we only planed for one time snorkeling, my kids they all wanted to do a second round after. The refresher course and dive was very smooth also. Happy to be back to the sea! All their staffs and coaches are very friendly, helpful and pickup was punctual. Overall top experience and service. We will come back to try other diving spots.
