The view and the price make it absolutely worth to spend a few nights here. Probably better to stay here in the cooler months, but if you can stand a heaty night, you will love it. (keep both doors openπŸ˜…) We had the most upper room and enjoyed a marvelous sunrise from the balkony πŸ‘Œ Good mosquito net around the bed πŸ‘

Nice rooms with amazing views. The owners are friendly and very helpful with questions and travel arrangements. It's also located within a short walk of some fantastic restaurants and a wonderful snorkeling beach. We spent a week here and highly recommend it.

First of all, it's not really a homestay as the name of the place suggests (Bukit Indah Homestay). It's rather a group of guesthouses operated by a local family. In general, we are happy with our stay there. There was a small tasty breakfast everyday between 8 and 9am and we could chose from several options (different pancakes, toasties and drinks). The view from our terrace was very nice, facing the ocean from far and made possible to watch sunrise from there. We could rent a scooter there at the price of 60k rupiah per day (we didn't have to pay for the fuel) and it felt way better to move around with it than to walk. The host was also helpful to organize a taxi to the Lempuyang temples (however, it should be possible to get there by scooter as well) and Ubud area. The beach is only 2 min walk from there but it's not really inviting to swim as the coast is quite stony there. There were some minor issues though. The house looks better on the pictures than it is in reality. It had it's golden years long time ago. There is a massive fungus on the ceiling. Even though our house (no. 1) was located not directly at the street we could hear well the traffic with it's loud motorbikes. Maybe one can try to book no. 6 which is much more far away from the street. Moreover, one night there was a group of tourist having a small party in the neighbouring guesthouses (other owner) so with poor acoustical isolation it was difficult to have a good sleep that night. We also couldn't close the bathroom doors which was also a bit of an issue. However, comparing with other local accommodations I think it is a good choice for the price.

An outdated, bit dirty, room. The lock of the door wasn’t working, so I was locked in for a bit. The staff member checked it and said it was ok, but later on I had the same problem again. There was no hot water in the shower while they do advertise with this. The owner upgraded me with AC, by giving me the remote of the AC that was in the room (book a room with AC, fan isn’t working sufficient) to make up for it. That was a nice gesture for sure. But still wouldn’t recommend it. I booked through Agoda with a β€˜big discount price’, but that is just their normal rate. So if you go, expect cheap and you might be ok with it. Absolutely do have to admit, the view from the room was beautiful!

Don't think its fitting to have homestay in the name. You get your own room with a view and shower.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Review of the warung, not the accomodation. We ate at Warung Eneak twice while staying in Amed. We had excellent tuna steaks, nasi campur and - my absolute recommendation - the rendang sandwich. Staff is attentive and friendly, prices okay in regard that they have their own organic garden and try to...

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Don't buy anything until you've tasted the grilled fish with vegetables !!! It's just your fingers! Only ask for vegetables without oil, otherwise there is too much of it. Delicious place !! You can rent a mask right in the institution and snorkeling near the shore. Nice staff. Clean toilet. Recent...
