Karl's is a great place for a quick bite! I have been here twice now and have had a great experience each time. The first time I ate in and had the gyro combo. The food and service were both excellent! Then I came back a week later and ordered to go. The sweet man that works behind the counter and makes the food remembered me which meant a lot. This time I got the hickory burger and tater tots. The burger and tots were delicious! I love how they make the food to order and you can hear him grilling up your food. This place is incredible for the price. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Well i really wanted to like this place because it seemed like it would be a ma and pop shop with good food. Well the effort was there but it falls short. The store was supposed to open at 11 they finally showed at about 11:30. Then it was a one man show taking orders and eventually getting to cook the food. I did feel for the guy since it was just him but it lead to him not knowing how to operate his register and then when he figured it out going to cook the food. Finally another employee showed to help and things started rolling. They seemed to get orders out decently after they got back on track. The food looked good but was extremely generic. Almost as they stock the cheapest ingredients they can muster and sell to the public (reheated frozen food) should of realized this considering the food was out and nothing was prepped since the restaurant opened late. Unfortunately i had a bed experience and will probably not return i hope the famous isn't from being famously bad

Absolutely spectacular burger. I got the regular cheesburger, no onions, mustard only with jalapenos. Having worked in downtown for 20 years, my new job has me at 91st and Yale and I am having a ball discovering all of these hole-in-the-wall places. Karl's will be going into the regular rotation!

The burger is so good—rich patty, thick, delicious toppings. Strong onion and pickles—the two best parts, if you ask me. Great atmosphere, a real local place where you feel like you can get together with your neighbors and talk about high school football and the latest changes in the local paper. Overall, a good lunch spot; highly recommend it!

Wow! Where have you been all my life? We've lived here for 10 years and bummed we just found out about this place. Mushroom swiss burger was delicious; thick, juicy, full of flavor. Gyro was equally delicious, great flavor. Crinkle cut french fries were crispy, cooked just right. The onion rings were amazing with a thin crispy breading, not that thick doughy type you find at so many places. Frankly, I can't wait to return! Highly recommend!!

12/4/21 Second time here.the owner work by himself there for the service is slow, that doesn't bother me as long as it is worth waiting for. Mohammed was super nice and very friendly, after he took care of all the customers he came and visited with us. It seems like he know most of the customers and will make an effort to get to know the new ones. When you get there go ahead to the counter order your food and get your drink then he will bring the food to the table if he is not that busy. As for the food, Great Philly steak sandwich and awesome French fries.

Go visit this place!! You won’t regret it. It was my first time here today, the man who works the place is a wonderful person. Please support small businesses! The food was spectacular and one of the nicest people around.

Great basic Burger place quick service, no theatrical gimmicks just good meat on a great bun with great thick cut French fries at a great price.
