I had a work related injury a few weeks ago in which I had to return 6 weeks later to have blood redrawn. They had me schedule the appointment for today at 9am and they assured me they would have me in and out promptly. I arrived early and they didn't even unlock the doors until about 9:10am. I sat and waited until 9:40am while they called numerous other people to the back even though they made me schedule an appointment all those weeks ago. I wasn't even set to see the PA today; I was only meant to have a quick blood draw. The woman working the front desk wasn't very polite either. What is the point of requiring an appointment and promising promptness if you aren't even going to open on time or operate in a professional manner. They can't manage punctuality on their end, but they are quick and relentless to harass me about my previous bill, even though they were supposed to bill my employer directly. The PA I saw at my initial visit was absolutely wonderful (so was the phlebotomist), but that was the only good part of my experience with this business. The LEAST you can do it open on time when you have scheduled appointments.

You might want to know that you have no way of calling this location without going through an answering service in Arizona and you’re on hold for 20-30 mins only to be asked 20 questions just to speak with someone at the actual location that has “asked” you to call them with more information they need. Also, don’t expect common Courtesy. I was told I could call them with the info. they needed BUT was not told when they closed. When I had to drive back the next day to give them what they wanted I was told that in the state of stress from my child’s emergency I should also read their hours on the door. Dr. was good. Nurse in the room was also good. They just don’t have proper protocol for the courteously of the patients. When you are in a stressful situation you need support and you can’t always think of everything.

The attitude from the staff made me want to walk out the door from the first interaction. Then the policy I couldn’t go in the room with my son when he requested me without any explanation. How can I sit in a waiting room but not the exam room with him? Having a little customer service and nicely explaining the policy would have gone a long way. I understand rules and that the staff is enforcing them- I’ve had to be in that position. But the approach and tone of voice goes a long way to whether you have an oh ok I understand you’re just doing your job or wow they are rude and I will make sure everyone I know doesn’t go there. 🤷🏻‍♀️

81st and Mingo is the worst operation I have ever visited. Unprofessional front desk staff people in the waiting room could hear the staff complaining about other staff not doing their job, complaining about patients coming in. There is no customer service skills at all. Employees complaining because they should have been gone an hour ago. Employee telling other coworkers they have had it they are leaving. Patient came in for a chest X-ray because she is having trouble breathing they told her it would be 1 1/2, patient left she was very sick front desk didn’t triage her or ask a nurse. Rude to patients. Front desk staff constantly leaving the front desk and patients can’t get checked in, in a timely manner. Employees would benefit from customer service training and how to handle the daily work load/stress of health care.

This is usually my go to because the doctors are fantastic but the lady at the counter with the piercings was rude. She got my sons name and birthday wrong in the check in and was rude when I asked her about it. I swear she said “I’m not doing this” a good 10 times to a coworker if you don’t like your job go somewhere else. We’re already stressed and worried when we come here your attitude about having to do your job is annoying

I found out when I arrive there was no provider and they were doing tele-health visits. I was so happy that they were still able to see me and get me in and out quickly. The clinic was clean, and everyone was friendly. Betsy the MA gave me a shot and it didn’t even hurt. I will be returning to the 81st St location and would highly recommend Access Medical 🙂

They were great! I came in with multiple issues and the nurses and doctors were very attentive and listened. They did all the tests I asked for. They were super busy, but made sure every question I had was heard and answered to the best of their knowledge

All of the people that worked at the 81st and hwy 169 location were wonderful, from the ladies that checked me in , the nurse and the doctor. Although my pharmacy is still waiting on the doctor to give the ok to switch from capsules to tables on my prescription. Other than that I would highly recommend this location.

Terrible experience. Refused to see me even though I am in extreme pain. Says they need $190+ upfront or no medical services can be rendered. They offer no payment plans, or anything of the short. Disgusting practice only focused on making money, not caring for people.

Really appreciative of the staff. They were all so kind and helpful to get me in and out in a timely manner while knowing I had another appt within the 2 hour window.

I can NOT recommend this place. Sat waiting to be seen with two people in the lobby in front of my for TWO HOURS. Absolutely ridiculous. What part of “urgent” is this? Geez a nurse and doc could have seen me and I could have been in and out at other places. Just made me even regret coming here. Will NOT come back to this location. They don’t have enough staff to quickly get people in and out. Horrible experience.

I've utilized the services at Access Medical Center- Urgent Care Clinic twice now in the last 2 months. Both times I received excellent care by a caring, knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I actually set up my appointment ahead of time so I was able to be seen and discharged within a reasonable amount of time. Each visit I was seen, evaluated, labs and X-rays taken, and my situation discussed with the Provider. I was out of there in under 45 minutes. I would definitely recommend Access Medical Center on 81st Street In Tulsa to anyone seeking urgent care services!

Only had 3 people working so my appointment was over 40 minutes late and the front desk attendant didn’t think to inform me of this until we paid. I would’ve happily gone to another Urgent Care otherwise. There were 4 other people in the lobby when I came in so appointments apparently mean nothing here. The facilities did not seem clean. I hope no one comes back here. We had to cancel the appointment because our son needed to go to bed so they would’ve been more than an hour wait.

I had tried going to the Center local to keep but they have been full for several days. I had to see another one of my physicians today to confirm that the reason I was seeking medical attention was not due to a reaction from my migraine treatments. After confirming it was not I drove to this clinic and there was a minimal wait time. Front desk and medical assistant were very very friendly.

Top notch experience. The facility is new, clean, well located. Staff was professional and engaged. The PA was thorough and had a great manner. Testing for my instance was on-site and rapid. Well done.

It wasn't horribly busy. Check in consisted of filling out the paperwork on one's phone.... Easy. I don't have to wait but about 15 minutes. Staff was very cordial and helpful as well.

It was really easy to find, the facility was very clean. The staff were all friendly and loved my kids. They listened to my needs and provided exactly what I needed. The visit was really fast and convenient. I appreciate the way Access Medical Centers on 81st took care of my family and I. Plus lollipops at the end!

The lady at the front desk (DeAngela?) and Betsy and then the doctor (last name started with M) were second to none! Fantastic service and were open and honest with me. Definitely will be back.

Very pleased with our experience! We were in and out in about 30 minutes. Staff was friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Facility was clean as well. I'd recommend this Urgent Care.

PA Megan is awesome. She was kind, funny and exceeded our expectations. The woman at the front desk, I apologize for not remembering her name, but she was so kind as well. We loved the how the staff was so personable.

Dan was amazing. I had a corneal abrasion. He was able to identify it, treat the pain, and show me through a photo the damage I did. Very thoughtful and caring. I’d recommend this clinic over any of the others because of him and his team.

This location was packed with people. It was busy. Usually when a place of business is busy a person receives care that isn’t as good as when they can focus on you directly. This was not the case at this clinic. I received the best care and all of the nurses were caring and joyful even though it was the end of the day and very busy. There are some genuine, compassionate people working here. Good job to whoever recruits the staff here. Paul

I used the online services. It was very nice. The staff very professional and the doctor was very good at treatment. No waiting, just tap your phone you arrived for appointment and they will tell you when to go in. They were faster than any other place I have ever been too and saved me the high expense if an ER visit at the hospital costing a fortune.

Great nurse and PA lady who did chest exray was very glad i made the choice to go there. Very concerned about my well-being. This is an urgent care i would highly recommend. The receptionist was also very nice

We made an appointment and we were seen within a reasonable time. The paperwork was all online. The front desk, nurse and PA were outstanding. The PA was handsome as all get out AND he was super informative, asked questions, and took his time to make sure he had been thorough. Super clean establishment. This will be our new UC from this point forward.

The staff at Access was friendly, professional and listened to my concerns. The facility itself needed some updates. There was no sink or trash can in the patient bathroom. Plug in covers were missing. The front doors needed a good swipe with winded.

I arrived at 3:50pm on 11/5/22 with a cut that needed to be sutured. The receptionist was rude as they were closing at 4, only to tell a staff member I could not see “we have another one”, staff member then replied “are you kidding me”. I have been in the medical profession for almost 30 years and have never been treated as an inconvenience. The PA was awesome but the staff needs more training in customer service. Extremely disappointed as I’ve been to the 81st location several times.

I got some debris in my eye while hiking and all my tried true ways of getting things out of my eye failed. My wife too me to Access to see if they could help. Their check in process was efficient and the staff very helpful. Fortunately the wait was not long. Their PA on duty evaluated what needed to be done. So I got the relief I needed and the checkout process went smoothly also. The staff was professional, friendly and very competent. I highly recommend them.

I’ve gone to other access medical centers, but this has been the weirdest one. The staff were all very friendly but it was short staffed, it seemed. They told me, after an 1.5 hour wait, that I probably had what I said I thought I had. They sincerely apologized for the wait but I wouldn’t want to experience it again. Also, bizarrely, if you pee in a cup, note that they do not have a sink in the bathroom. So…judge that as you will.

Been to this location several times. It was easy to schedule online (highly recommend—you can do paperwork on there and have it all ready so less time at check in). Staff is very pleasant and attentive to why I was being seen each time. Only negative which isn’t really bad (won’t affect my 5 star review) is when you check in online and tell them you are there, it’s unclear what to do next—do you wait for a text to come in or do you just go inside? Not sure so I’ve gone in both times with no issues so just a suggestion to tell patients what to do upon checking in online.

Went here for the first time in quite a while 4/10/22 because my family Dr's office is not open on Sunday. I had a great experience despite the reason for my visit. The front desk personnel (wish I had gotten her name) was wonderful, very informative, and pleasant. Dr Cornwell was terrific as well along with the nurse. The wait was not long for being a walk in, I would highly recommend this clinic if you are unable to visit your primary care physician.
