The “contracted help “ to make appointments & handle incoming issues , calls and people daily -are pretty unable -just a warning of you are considering It started out great.(way back when) It has declined to unbelievable depth It’s under managed and needs a good knowledgeable leader & staff . its very uncomforting to think" they don't know what they are doing "

I was a patient of Dr Patel's for a number of years when the practice was Oklahoma Pain & Wellness, dating back to the little house office. I always thought Dr Patel was awesome, very caring. Then, SEVA took over. They treated me like I was nothing, when my Dr left the practice, I was dropped with no warning after all those years. I did absolutely NOTHING to deserve this. Instead of putting me with another Dr like they had done many times before, I was given a letter to sign and told at check out that I "was done" I can't believe the Dr that I held in such high regard did this to me. What horrible people they are. How far Dr Patel has fallen, a good man, a good doctor turned bad. "Please, if you're in pain and looking for someone to help, DON'T go to this practice."

The Physicians Assistant that I had been dealing with treated me like a number not as someone in severe pain. When I told her that I wasn't intrested in any injection, that I had over a dozen without any help. She raised her voice and started treating me like what I wanted didn't matter and if I didn't get the injection she would decrease my medication to a level were I wouldn't get any relief. Go somewhere else where your not treated like a number. I walked out on her and will never go back! I still can't believe she threatened me

Wouldn't recommend going there. Called Thursday to get some meds filled. Was told my Dr wasn't there anymore. But I'd been assigned to a Dr Care. The assistant said she'd talk to Dr and call me back. She didn't yesterday i called back finally was told my Dr had died. And said she'd talk to Dr and call me back. At 4:30 I called talked to lady she said hang on and put me through to a full voice mail. MyDr there was my pcp finally got a callback told me I'd have to get another pcp. But no refills now I have to go to urgent care to get my high blood pressure med. These people don't care about their patients. I don't understand why they didn't notify me of my Drs death so I wouldn't be in this mess

I tried very hard to work with Dr Cara to control the pain of a vary rare disease. I must give Dr. Cara credit for having done continuing education coursework so she could help understand the disease so she could help. me better. For once I had a doctor on my team that understood porphyria and why it makes me hurt so badly and what she-can do to help me rest. However, On Thursday, April 28 I was called in to the office for an impromptu pill count and UA! During that time I was informed that Dr Cara would be leaving the practice. If I wanted to remain with the group I should expect all kinds of changes. I asked if my palliative care diagnosis would be honored. N0. What about the exception to the CDC guidelines set by the government for those with sickle cell anemia and porphyria? Or the CDC override to the 90mme for porphyria patients? No. We don't recognize those either. Hmmmm. Doesn't sound like this group will be working well with established patients and their diagnosis or current government standards. So, I guess it is time for me to move on. I was supposed to have had a teleconference meeting with Dr Cara on Monday (the appointment had been set and relayed to me by her.). Because of my illness I had to be OKC, the only place I could get my medicine, at the same time receiving an experimental medicine but since it was to be a teleconference call, arranged by Dr Cara, I felt that I could make both. It didn't happened, no call from my doctor or nurse. I waited yet another day. Still no word from Dr. Cara or Seva. So, as this point I can now declare that I have been deserted by my doctor and the medical professionals at Seva Meducare.

Do not go to this place. Rebecca, a nurse practitioner, lied to me three times. The only good medical doctor they had, which was my doctor, unfortunately passed away in May and after that they lied to me about my medication and changed everything on me without me agreeing to that. All they care about is money. To save money they outsource their customer care to India.

I've been a patient at what use to be oklahoma pain and wellness for almost 6 yrs now but when they changed over to seva med care everything started changing. The staff kept changing but the one good thing was I had a excellent Dr but unfortunately he passed away and I got put with a different Dr, Dr Cara and I don't appreciate the way she treats me . The first time I saw her she automatically started talking about cutting my dosages of morphine in half, never asked how my pain was or how I was doing nothing. I do however have a wonderful PA Ruby. She has ordered different injections for me, took x-rays of my knees and has ordered injections for them as well. I had a partial perscription picked up on the 7th of October but then tells me I can't pick up next month's till the 7th of November! I called and they made me come in for a UA and a pill count and she still hasn't called me nothing in. So here I set in tremendous pain that my percoset ain't touching. I have fybromyalgia, RA, degenerative disc disease, diabetes, neuropathy bad knees, I could go on but that's not the point. If your looking for compassion or a Dr that really cares about keeping you out of pain don't go to seva medcare!!!

This place use to be okay. Now they're letting all the pain patients go if they're on meds. They only care about addiction medicine instead of pain and wellness. Possibly why there was a name change a few years back. And working there must be horrific because I have never seen a doctor's office with mote turn over. I have seen restaurants keep waitresses longer than this place can keep doctors. Dr Patel use to truly care about the patients, then he opened up this location and he only cares about the money. Shame, but what can you do. Avoid them like the plague. If you don't need pain meds then you might be okay except the staff is rude in person and the appointment setters and collection's crew doesn't speak English well. They handle everything remotely from India half the time with children screaming in the back ground.

Arrived for initial visit, and wasnt assessed, other than basic questiinare, wasn't physically assessed by the Dr. Do. I was not given options other than injections, other than that, that I told numerous times didnt work. And the loss of function of my hand. His responce was I don't do hands. I have been treated for over twenty years for RA and the pain associated. With the damage with it. He told me told him the medical treatment, opioids and fentinyl. Have worked but still didnt take care of the pain. He was more concerned about the chance of being sued. He told me I needed to just quit cold Turkey, he said it wouldn't kill me but it would extremely uncomfortable for me. I asked if there was any medication to help me get off the medication, he said not for me. I asked if my insurance would cover tx he said no, I would need to switch insurance. I honestly feel like I was treated like a drug seeking person, I simply wanted my pain treated. That wasnt thier concern, it was to push the form of tx. I just want to be able to function so I wont be a burden on my family or society.I f you are going to advertise that you are a pain management clinic then please treat folks and take care of them, pain is real,I wouldn't wish this on anyone. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I have always been greeted by very kind personnel each and every time I show up for my appointment. They are knowledgeable and seem very happy to help in any way. They are a professional and seemingly compassionate entity that appear to constantly strive for perfection. My appointments so far have been prompt and stress free. The doctors have been very nice as well and seem to really care about my physical health and mental well being!!! They are great at communicating and encouraging patients to keep in touch with their dreams and hope s. A great combination!!!!!!!!

I love the 61 & Sheridan location. They're very friendly, efficient and get you in and out quickly. I was a long time patient of the late and great Dr William Yarborough and was switched to Ruby Thomas after his passing. I was stressed at first because I had been with Dr Yarborough for so long and I moved with him when he switched from 3 different clinics/locations but quickly realized I am still in good hands. Ruby is so knowledgeable and listens but gets me in and out so quickly. I appreciate that. I highly recommend them for pain management and/or addiction help!

Terrible place with a rude nurse. Left my mother sitting for 2 hours past her appt time and was very rude when I inquired about my mother. I was told if I left the parking lot to go a block down to grab a snack and water they WOULDN'T start her procedure untill I returned. I watched as multiple people whwere bright in dropped off and wheeled out. I was held hostage in their parking lot waiting with no info for another hour and a half unable to leave because I worried they would not do her procedure.. again multiple patients being dropped and then picked up. I would seek help elsewhere for your family members. Also as I sit here waiting for ANYONE to come to the window I'm watching children play in the office areas.. Very unprofessional.

This place is a joke. They are real nice your first visit when they give you an injection but after that they treat you like a junkie looking for a fix. My mother doesn’t even do opiates yet she was treated like an addict. Speaking of which, I think she may have been the only person there that wasn’t an addict. It’s a cash grab milking Medicare based on the new system and all of it’s new pain management rules.

I’m not even sure what to think of this place. I can say one thing Dr. Patel seems to be a very compassionate person and willing to help you. But making somebody sit almost an hour to see a dr when everyone after you has been seen and gone is uncalled for. I have a pretty good reason why. As soon as I see a couple more drs and get their opinion I believe it will be obvious why I was just left sitting there. I will then come back and update this review. The clinic is beautiful inside and I have been treated good by staff it’s just not cool that I was left sitting that long. And nobody there. I been in pm 15 years and never dealt with that trust me I know how it works I’m not uneducated. I was told by Patel that no Dr will be willing to help me because of my insurance and to drop who I have. Then I show up for a appointment with Dr Anagnost for him to insist I need another back surgery and I believe because I was adamant that it’s my hip, he felt I wasted his time he’s a rude dr and after almost having his medical license revoked and being sued by multiple people you think I want him touching me ? I’ve already had one surgery that left me messed up. I been recommended to leave this Seva place alone because it is not a place that’s ran with the highest of ethics so if multiple people advised me to find better drs then who else would know best than the doctors themselves. Why even suggest another back surgery? When I’ve had multiple opinions it’s not going to do any good and it’s not needed so we will see because I have a couple more drs to see. Don’t let any dr tell you that you need surgery without getting multiple opinions it’s why I’m in the condition I’m in is because I’d greedy doctors! I tried to email you and it says it’s an invalid email.

I've been going to Seva probably 8 months or so now and I've been well pleased with the service I received there. Even if I'm a bit late they always make room for me. I see Ruby Thomas when I go about every month for a refill on my medication and she is usually always pleasant unless I mess on something, ☺️ I have seen Dr Do for injection for my back pain and he is very careful not to cause me any hurt of any kind. I would recommend this clinic anyone who is suffering any type of pain at all because they tried to do everything they can to eliminate your discomfort.

Tested for Covid and flu and never received results. Plus when scripts were ordered after three calls still sent to the unknown pharmacy. After four days my pharmacy called to say that they finally received the scripts. Not impressed!

I can’t attest to how this clinic operates when it comes to pain management, but I can tell you that if you’re considering them for ketamine infusions for treatment-resistant depression, you should absolutely find another provider before you waste your money. I am a nurse and was taking a family member for treatments and I was just blown away (not in a good way). Dr. Patel advised doing ketamine treatments a month apart, which is not what any of the research shows is effective. When I pointed this out, he dismissed it and said that monthly infusions seem to work fine. Later, his infusion nurse told us something completely different (which was actually accurate). Shouldn’t the prescribing doc at least know the science-backed protocol? We ended up following Dr. Patel’s suggested monthly infusion schedule, with very poor results. We’ve now moved to a clinic that actually bases the dosing schedule off of science. Also, if you need to reach anyone on the phone, no one at their call center speaks great English and communication is really, really not great. No one is ever on the same page on anything. Trying to communicate with anyone via phone was so ridiculously difficult. Outsourcing might work for some businesses, but not for a doctors office. Lastly, the whole organization is just sketchy and poorly organized. When my family moved to a new provider, we called to get the med records from Seva (a whole difficult process in itself) and found out they had been administering an unusually high dose. The infusions themselves weren’t bad, but expect to wait a long time before ever getting started. They also don’t have call lights in any room that I’ve seen, which I find to be super concerning since they’re administering a powerful anesthetic. Overall, we were both extremely unimpressed. The overall disorganization combined with Dr. Patel not following research-based protocols was super disappointing.

I was a patient here for almost a decade until they stopped accepting my insurance, started to diversify into a dispensary (among other things), and I got tired of the shady business practices. These people are VERY interested in your money. Even if you've been in an accident they will pad your bill so that you get less and they get more, even though you are the one who got hurt. Heck, they'll even send you to THEIR lawyer! I feel like this is more of a business (and a shady one that has changed their name multiple times due to lawsuits) than a true medical clinic. Dr. Steven Anagnost (the surgeon) is fantastic and wonderful if you make it far enough to see him. Otherwise you are simply in a revolving door of 'patients' - they want your money, not necessarily for you to get better. A few of the nurses are great, but the head nurse has zero bedside manner, and even yelled at my autistic son. Very few seem to listen - it's almost as if they push specific treatments that are either brought in by the fancy 'pushers' that come in or are expensive for the patient and their insurance company, and those are the only options. If you opt not to go those routes, you are now 'subversive' and they no longer act like they care about you. They mostly want to push injections, because they're quick to do and expensive for you. Once you reject their suggestions, they are no longer interested in helping you, and you will feel it. I would never recommend this clinic or it's doctors.

I came upon SEVA by a friend. It has been the best decision I have made. I started out with pain everyday for 20 years before I came to see Dr. Patel and now my pain is gone. I will come back every time I am in pain. I highly recommend coming to see them.

I have had a few procedures down now at this location and have had a little bit of issues feeling quite a bit of pain during the first couple of them and they gave me a little more sedation thank goodness. And I did still have a little more pain after for a couple days. And what relief I feel after that seems to last for about a week maybe two weeks sometimes. And I have now had both sides done with a different procedure and the pain during the procedure was quite a bit more painful with the first side so they gave me a little bit more sedation and I was so thankful. So today was the other side and the nurse asked the sedation worked last time and I told her so they did go ahead and gave me a little bit more to start with and it was some better this time. I am praying I won't have more pain over the next few days and that the relief lasts longer but we will see.

My ankle specialist referred me on December 15th to this office, it is now January 31st. They were having trouble contacting me over the phone (I never had a missed call or voicemail) so I emailed and called them repeatedly until I finally got an answer only for them to tell me they don’t have a doctor there than can treat an ankle issue. I really wish they could have told me that 6 weeks ago so I could have made an appointment somewhere else.

I took away one star because my appointment was at 1130 but wasn't seen until 105. But Dr.Patel was really nice and EXPLAINED what kind of headaches he thinks I have, showed me exactly on the spine and neck, involved me in the decision and also treated my shoulder. On top of that, he recommended the weight loss program...I am over weight lol. So I will be returning tomorrow to meet that doctor. Very happy with this place so far.

I was sent to this office because I have 2 chronic illnesses that cause life changing pain daily. I have had the absolute worst experience ever. First the doctor wasn’t very nice and then he changed my meds now I can’t get anyone to even call me back. I get the same answer “they will call u back within an hour” or “I’ll send a message” or sent to peoples voicemails that are full. Worst experience ever and I will be checking into getting a different doctors office.

They have been going downhill since Seva took over. My doctor is Great but the company is not! They are only after more money. Constant billing and insurance issues. Now they charge a 4% fee to pay my copay with a credit card. I use a flexible spending account which is on a credit card. No other medical facility charges extra for my credit card payment. I stayed this long because I like my doctor but the CC fee is the final straw. There's plenty of other providers that are more organized and less greedy.

  • 1/5 Suzanne 8 months ago on Google
This is the most ridiculous Dr and office staff I've ever had to deal with. You call and they never ever call you back even in an emergency. You can never get a hold of anyone. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY. Not just one location but multiple. If I could give "zero" stars I would. He did injections on my mom's back and now she can't walk.

  • 1/5 Tonya B. 8 months ago on Google
This place and the doctors don't care about there Patience, my husband can't afford to miss work. But these doctors will not listen and make his appointments for when he can get off of work after 3 o'clock. This place is a joke. Don't go have to go back to my doctor where we had to pay to see them and pay for our medicine. Because this place won't help us. I think the doctor's name was Rachel. She sucks won't even try to help anybody.
