Situated on the Makgeolli Alley, this restaurans is considered a hot place among rice wine lovers. Famous for its Mkgeolli (rice wine), Jeonju has a lot to offer beside the Hanok village. However I was not impressed by the food at this restaurant. It's just regular Korean menu with nothing special. The wine was good and the staff friendly. The price is balanced.

A phenomenal experience, and a must do if you are in Jeonju or just Korea in general. The place is so lively and fun and fully of people having a good time. The food is excellent and it just keeps coming! They bring you dish after dish until you can't eat anymore, and it's all complementary with the Makgeolli. We had fish, kimchi, pork, soup, rice, so many things I can't even remember them all, and all very delicious. The staff were a delight, so friendly and helpful and trying to accommodate us in English. I am really impressed and you must go to this place.

Great drinks and eats ! Easily accommodated for the vegetarians in our group! The interior reminded of venues in Texas: graffiti messages scrawled across the wall, pictures of patrons defaced with moustaches, and lots of happy people being loud.

Legit experience at a local popular makgeolli restaurant. Went there for makgeolli but the food was unexpectedly great too!

Really nice food & rice wine.Tried chestnut rice wine for the first time and it didn't disappoint.The kimchi/pork dish is awesome as well.

Great dishes paired with makkouli. Very popular with the locals. Seafood served are very fresh too! Highly recommend but it could be busy during your usual peak meal times

Really cool vibe here. It's flooded with Koreans, and feels really authentic. It's not fancy, rustic feel to it, which adds to the pureness. They actually have 2 locations diagonal from each other. We were directed to the second one when they first was too full. At that rate, we still had to wait to get inside the 2nd one. THAT'S how popular this place is. This is one of the best plain makgeolli's I've had. I enjoy flavored makgeolli more, but this was delicious. The food was very good too. Loved it here!

This is the best magoli in the area, very smooth and fresh taste. They also provide delicious meals let you enjoy while you wnjoy magoli, highly recommended if you visit Jeonju!!!
