The menu is confusing. I realised whether u order the special meal (₩23,000 for 1 pax) or the bulgogi/short rib parties set (₩12,800) - u still get the same thing - same number of banchan/side dishes, fish, 2 meats, 2 soups etc. So why order the special? For the marinated crab? Almost every table was served the same combi. We had to pay ₩46,000 for 2 pax and didn't feel its worth it. Staff didn't bother to welcome or explain the menu. Not recommended.

Hanwool Bapsang Opposite entrance of parking lot in Jeonju Hanok Village, Korea The shop is small, so you often have to line up. The employees are good at their work. The recommended menu is Tteok-galbi set. The price is 9,800 won. It has a good cost-effectiveness and the taste that grandmother makes. There are many kinds of side dishes because it is a formal restaurant.

If you want an authentic Korean meal, this is a place to go. You sit on the floor which is heated during the winter months.

We order the tteok-galbi set menu it’s KRW 12,800. It’s amazingly good. All the banchan are free refill. You guys have to come here, there is one waiter that can speak english and explain clearly. I super recommend this place.

Food is good and located just across the hanok village information center. The waitress can not speak english at all and its difficult for me to order at first time. They only sell 4 kind of set menu. Each person is mandatory to order 1 set. Each kind of set must be ordered at minimum for 2 people.

This is a restaurant located near the traditional hanok village where you can enjoy han jung sik which is where you order a main dish accompanied by a ton of side dishes. The mains were quite delicious. We got the tteok galbi (soft rib meat) and soybean stew. We were given enough sides to fill up the entire table. There was also a lot of variety with the sides including pickled vegetables, lotus roots and other vegetables in dressing, raw marinated crabs just to name a few. I went with my Korean friends and they seemed to enjoy it. I personally really loved it. Also note, you should order 1 main per person. You can also refill on the sides.

There are a few places in Hanok village that basically rip tourists off and this is one of them. They advertise that you get japchae, jeon, salad, 간장게장 and a few other heavier banchan items but when you order their main table set they gave us one jaeyukbokgeum and one fish. The rest were small veggie sides which don't measure up as high quality substitutes. On top of that a few of those sides are the stuff people dont typically touch unless it's a favorite. Imagine ordering steak, mashed potatoes, cream spinach, macaroni and cheese, lasagna and they give you steak, fries, house salad, carrot sticks and celery sticks but they charge you the same... Their cheap menu might be worth it but these guys basically give you what any typical restaurant will give you with one entree order. You just have to pay 4 times more. Seriously annoyed. Finally food was salty. Not the typical authentic korean food style but the kind you get in frozen dinners...
