👍👍 Superb hotel facing Jerez Cathedral. The hotel was created by assembling several old houses (200-250 years old). It's rooms and especially its bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Superb hotel facing Jerez Cathedral. The hotel was created by assembling several old houses (200-250 years old). It's rooms and especially its bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Its garden where breakfast is served is very pleasant. Staff is polite and helpful. Most important is the decoration based on interior gardens with gigantic plants that can be seen through fixed glass windows. Breakfast is copious but served at your table (no buffet: to avoid waste I guess). At night you can admire the completely illuminated Cathedral either from your room or from the roof terrace.

Heritage stay in the historic heart The biggest thing that attracted me to this place was their claim to be ‘The first Sherry hotel in the world”. While we didnt feel the vibe of staying in a Winery, we were totally mesmerized by teh feeling of staying in a very old heritage stone building that made us feel like we were the travelling guests of a rich nobleman during the medieval times! Every part of this building breathes history! And the rooftop terrace area with a lovely pool and chill out bar area is a killer asset of the property. Offers stunning views of the cathedral, Alcazar and the entire rooftop view of the town. I would stay again just for this experience! LOCATION: Excellent location is what works the most for this hotel. Just 100 metres from Jerez Cathedral and 400 metres from Plaza del Mercado, DINE + DRINK: Excellent restaurant that served a gourmet a la carte breakfast as complimentary which would excite anyone who is tired of all the boring buffet breakfasts. ROOM: We stayed in Room #3, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Cathedral and the street ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Lovely spa quality cosmetics. FACILITIES: No Gym, but the lovely rooftop pool is a must try! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home, and well taken care of. Special Shout out to VERONICA at the front desk, who made our stay more enhanced. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Nice Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in very limited languages

We could not have been more impressed. Such a beautiful location and property. All the little touches and kindness of the lovely staff add to the experience. In love with this hotel!

First sherry wine hotel, from a 180 years old, legendary, sherry producer Tio Pepe. Located in the stunning old town of Jerez, this hotel is an absolute gem. Rooms are specious with high sealings, view from rooftop bar is to the ancient cathedral. Cathedral views you can also enjoy, while swimming in the rooftop pool. The interior design is minimalistic, yet detailed. Team is professional. The hotel has this special scent (probably created for them especially), that adds a final touch to this luxury experience

The front desk offered us repeatedly a visit to Bodegas Tio Pepe (winery) as part of our stay and dice they appear to be the same company. Yesterday they were closed and they said they could book it for today as it was included in our reservation and for all hotel guests. Upon arrival for the winery tour this afternoon at 16:00, they turned us down in a very impolite manner, saying they didn’t get an email from the hotel and that we had booked through a travel app (which the front desk must have known) and for that reason we could not get the complimentary tour. Nowhere during our stay we were told this but the complete opposite. Quite a deflating experience for us from a hotel that should be attracting more visitors and securing great recommendations to others. Upon returning to the hotel, I told the front desk staff and they assured us that the tour was as included and that they had sent an email. The director can contact me via email if they would like to know more about this experience as it can happen to other guests and will certainly hurt them more than help the hotel gain some attention. The front desk staff really did try to apologize and just gave us a souvenir to make up for the unpleasant situation. They were very polite and diligent to help us book the horse show and the hotel is gorgeous. We were going to return in two weeks but now will look elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Great location. Helpful and professional staff. Beautiful rooms but could do with the addition of a small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good but staff were so busy it was hard to get what we wanted. Maybe some items should be available as a buffet? The bodega tour was a great addition to our stay. Would return and recommend.

Lovely hotel with a cool rooftop bar and pool. Breakfast was superb and served in the garden. Just a shame the rooms are a bit small and not noise insulated.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, including a tasting with 9 sherries, and we had an excellent time. It is true that it’s not cookie-cutter or standard like other hotels: it’s a special, utterly unique experience. The room: Tasteful and relaxing, with perhaps the loveliest, most calming bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel and a very comfortable bed. The upstairs terrace: Sitting on deckchairs overlooking the cathedral was glorious - such a lovely place to rest between sights and tabancos… Food: We had breakfast in the garden both mornings, and found the quality and range excellent. Your order is brought to the table rather than serving yourself at a buffet, and I actually preferred it as a more relaxing start to the morning. The tasting: This was a definite highlight of our stay. Elena was funny and extremely knowledgable and taught us so much about sherry in general and Tío Pepe in particular. The hotel won me over from the start with the glorious-smelling jasmine at reception. I already can’t wait to go back.

Small rooms, but amazing service and a great location. The outdoor pool they have at the Rooftop it's always something to mention, and Manuel is a magnificent waitress🔝

Great facilities. Unfortunately the service is terrible. The wedding organizer booked one extra night by mistake and the hotel made us pay for it even if we checked out one day earlier. Hope they enjoy our money. We will not be back there

Soul is missing. This place is incredibly styled, the right materials, colours, the obligatory coffee table books, the staff is perfectly casted and smiley...all ingredients are there. Still, it just looks like a decor, where guests are part of a photoshoot. I didn't feel any heart beat that makes this hotel stand out. It would be a shame not to make this wonderfully located hotel a genuine experience for his guests.

Absolutely glorious hotel that exceeded all of our expectations. The location is perfect, but roof top views are incredible. Our room was wonderful, light, high ceilings, two balconies overlooking the Catedral. Associated restaurant Pedro Nolasco was divine. Special thanks to Carmen who was so patient and helpful, but everyone at the hotel were beyond accommodating. Thank you all.

Lovely stay… I loved the rooftop pool and bar! Great views for the sunset. The staff was especially friendly, especially the Russian girl at the front desk who helped us a few times and was even able to help us book some activities around Jerez! Would definitely stay again!

I was torn whether to give this hotel 3 or 4 stars. The loud guests who woke us at 11:30 pm last night, and too few tables at breakfast this morning made me opt for 3. Not great, but some very good points. Location is excellent though rooms a bit pricey. Windows only let a sliver of sunlight in. The room itself was lovely and bed comfortable, but better amenities are needed. Shower and sink water temperatures were quirky. A hot buffet breakfast would have been preferred rather than the cold eggs I was served, and having to wait for service. Coffee would be better than the tea in the room. Most people seemed to be drinking that at breakfast. We would have loved to have tried the restaurant but it is only open Thurs-Sat. We were here for 2 nights, Tuesday and Wednesday. Though there are some excellent restaurants very close by. The free sherry tasting and tour was a nice touch though we would have preferred to pay extra for the tapas pairing which requires 7 days notice even though we stayed here 2 nights. The staff should have been more forthcoming about our private access to the winery or other seating areas of the hotel, which we only learned of the morning of our departure. Though the gentleman who worked evenings was very helpful with dinner recommendations.

Clean and good service. No fridge in our room. I liked the pool and view, but pool is too shallow for swimming. I would have liked to stay longer, but only more expensive options were available only, so we continued our trip. Jerez is nice small town

Rooms (at least the one we got) did not look like what is advertised on the website: quite narrow with views on the wall of the next building (very little sunlight). Our room was located just above the reception and we could hear other clients coming in and out, especially after partying. No kettle nor fridge in the room. Overall not a good quality for the price compared to other accommodations we visited during our trip. The rooftop pool and the breakfast in the garden are amazing though.

Beautiful Hotel, great rooms - very clean and new. Breakfast in the garden was lovely and relaxing. Terrace with a great view of the cathedral.

Nice location in Jerez directly next to the cathedral. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are nice. Very few amenities in the room. Nice adjoining restaurant that’s part of the tio de Pepe winery. Breakfast is served in the pretty gardens outside. There is a nice rooftop with bar service. Rooms are a bit on the pricey side.
