Everywhere we have been in Jerez everyone has been friendly and helpful except for this bar. We went in on our first day and enjoyed the lemon cruzcampo so much that we went the next day even though the girl behind the bar could not raise a smile. Next day we gave up after waiting forever to get served (only 2 other people at the bar but she took ages to serve a coke to someone). Tried again today, different bar staff, rude to my husband and to another customer who dared to ask for a clean glass. Need some new staff!!

Well, it’s a chain joint that’s located at an intersection of a busy pedestrian street. But, with as little as 1 euro per simple montadito and a few more cents to “umph” the yummy factor (such as 20 additional cents to add fried onion and mayo to a goat cheese little sandwhich, for a grand total of 1.20 euros)… and 1.50 for an ice called “jar(ra)” of beer… you may end up staying for an improvised “happy hour” special in a town where every hour seems to be happy. Food/cost: (example) 1montadito of iberian cheese (no.3) and 1 of cabra con crujiente y mayo (no.60), and a pint of beer equals 5.20 euros, IVA/tax included. Suitability (for a family with children): Only if your young ones can sit still for the time you need to enjoy your beer! It is located on a busy pedestrian street (calle Lanceria). Outside/patio seating is available but there wasn’t space for our 2 boys to do what young boys do. Nice time playing toy cards with our older one though, without his younger brother. Services/bathroom: yes, but did not use. Shade: indoor/outdoor; shaded outside. Foreign-friendliness: we did not encounter any problem; the menus are clearly organized—you can practically point at the number of any particular little sandwich/dish. Downside/for Improvement: Please clean/change the menus—many of them were rather ragged and some, outright filthy. Accessibility: about 300-meter walk (4 minutes) from Plaza San Miguel. No street parking nearby. Accessible by wheelchair and strollers. Timeframe of visit(s): Spring. Note: we (free electrons family) review places from a foreign-family perspective, generally. We have small children and our ability to communicate in the local language (Spanish) gets better, little by little.

Regular chain restaurant experience (well organized menu, cheap prices, food with no surprises, reliable opening hours). Upstairs seating is nice to have. However, there are cockroaches here - the resilient type.

The company saves on workforce: one person has to do everything from taking orders to preparing them. Their prices are less and less competitive. And worst of all, the tables outside are rarely cleaned (too much for that one person) and the leftover is eaten by pigeons. There are so many good bars in Jerez, I'll never come back here.

Decent selection of beer, very cold, friendly staff, good prices. We will come back for tapas.

Cheap food at a price. The service was good, but when it came time to eat, most of the order was completely wrong and took almost half an hour to get out of the small and unhygienic kitchen. Most of the cooked montaditos are microwaved and the "black label" are no different than the standard selection. I've visited this restaurant chain before in the States and never been so let down.

A great place to get super cold beer at a great price. The food isn't half bad too.

You can tell fries are refrigerated and sometimes they use small plates for the ones supposed to be gig portions, you can't listen to your name if you are sitting outside or upstairs. Cheap and nice food though
