Overall decent food. I generally like spicy food, so I requested for jalapeños but the chef refused to give any, first time I’ve experienced something like this. However, the burritos were really good, tacos are a bit overpriced for what they are. The drinks are decent also. The ambience is really good.

Great spot for quick quality bites at great price. We got seated right away, the food was there very quickly and had an authentic taste.

Went in for dinner with teamies. The tacos were awesome. Loved the sauce. The drinks weren’t bad either. Would definitely go again.

The only thing that I was surprised they didn't have the tostadas with steak or chicken. They only had a avocado tostada. I hope they add that to their menu. Other than that it was a great meal.

Had a delicious dinner here on the final night of our New York trip. The service here was so fast that we were in and out within 30min. We tried all the meat tacos and were happy with all of them. We particularly enjoyed the birria and Baja fish tacos.

The wife and I were looking for a quick bite before our flight back home, and we found this neat tacoria in the lower east side. The service was fast and kind. Prices were cheaper than most places we've been to, but the flavors delivered greatly. Their horchata and Agua de jimica are so refreshing and reminsent of what I've had in Mexico. We both had the esquites, which were phenomenal, especially for the cold weather. It was almost 100% traditional if it wasn't for the sweet yellow corn, but the chipotle mayo really gives it a good kick. Lastly, the cod taco was a perfect light finisher for lunch. Flakey golden goodness with crunchy cabbage and a lovely tangy sauce to go with really wrapped things up. When you are ever nearby, stop on in for a great bite.

Easily the best tacos I’ve ever had! You have to try the cheesy shrimp tacos, they are the bomb! Be careful with the special hot sauce they serve it with cos it’ll blow your head off but in a good way! So delicious! The place itself could possibly be the most instagramable fast food joint in NYC! 5 stars!!!

Decent tacos at a steep price. Worth a try for the atmosphere. like a traditional street taqueria. Quesadillas al pastor and carne asada were my favorites. But again a bit pricey. Reason for my 4 stars.

I've been to a couple of different Tacombi's in the city, and the consistency in their food has always been great. Service is good with staff making sure your food is good and if you need another drink. Their new Birria tacos are delicious, and I would recommend ordering two orders because it'll be off your plate before you know it. Personally love their Carne Asada and Baja fish tacos and any of the drinks on their menu is a hit in my opinion.

Tacos, three words: greasy as hell. I’ll probably come back and try another taco flavor. I ordered birria. Was way too greasy. The margaritas were great, though. Maybe a tad bit too sweet. Margaritas being good accounts for all three stars. No stars for the greasy taco. Sorry.

This is a great example of simple and fast Mexican food right in the heart of soho. Great service and a nice outdoor patio for when the weather warms up. A short and simple menu that delivers consistently. Try the Mexican street corn as an appetizer, and the birras, carne asada and pastor tacos. The burritos also look like they are worth an order. If you’re in the neighborhood and in search of tacos come give this place a try.

Quite good service and beautifull space, very original. However we couldn’t enjoy our food because of the level of spicy everything was. They should really ask or inform about this as we didn’t enjoy our dinner. Furthermore they have little drink offer, as they could add new drinks and combos.

This place has a great ambience, but my friend and I left very upset from the service we received. Order was taken and we waited a while for our drinks to be delivered. We looked around for our waitress, and we found out our order was never placed due to “technical issues” with the system although we saw her servicing other tables next to us. She comped our drinks for the inconvenience, but the drinks were extremely watered down. Food was okay. However, our waitress never came back to check up on us. We understand that mistakes do happen occasionally, but we would have appreciated an apology for the mishap from management if there were actual “technical issues” with the system.

Have been coming to Tacombi for few years now. Really like their corn esquites. I ordered black bean and sweet potato taco, avocado tostada and the vegetariano along with fresh watermelon juice. All the items were spot on!

Absolutely delicious! Great friendly service as well! We were only in NYC for a few days, but had to return to have some delicious tacos.

We stumbled upon this place in Soho and decided to go in. Best decision of the day! The food is really good, the service super friendly. The space itself was lively and nice to stay. We mainly had taco's, empanadas and burrito's with some beers, cocktails and lemonades and loved every bit of it. I highly recommend this place for good Mexican food if you visit Soho.

the chips were too oily and fatty but the guacamole was good. The waiters came and told me it was “gluten free” trying to fix the problem. The burritas of pollo wasn’t good too the rice and beans were salted

Soho prices, the food is really good and light, the chips and salsa seemed a bit stale, the corn was delish! Would recommend every once in a while due to portions and prices, the staff was super friendly. Instagram: @simplysaidy

Walked in on a whim and it was quite pleasant. Got a few different tacos, service was quick and nice. Tacos were good and the environment was fantastic. It takes up the full lot with no walls so you can see straight back, making nice and open.

I was exploring around this area when I walked by and was hit with the wonderful aroma of lightly fried corn tortillas, so I decided to stop here for a quick meal. I tried the Carnitas, the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada tacos. The Carnitas and Al Pastor were ok but nothing really to write home about, the Carne Asada was great. The meat was tender and well seasoned and the lightly fried tortilla complimented it along with the chopped onions and cilantro. I really enjoyed the meal and the staff were quick and friendly.

Love this place! Been to the west side location a few times. Pollo and breaded fish tacos are my favorites. Didn't care too much for the black bean and sweet potato taco. Watermelon and pineapple juices are freshly made.

Great authentic Mexican food. They make their own corn tortilla chips totopos fresh every morning and this is why a portion of guacamole with totopos is a must when visiting. Lovely customer service and nice atmosphere. I’m for sure coming back for the amazing flavors!
