What a fabulous place. We came in at 5pm with no reservations, but got seated at bar right away. Seating was close but we didn't care they have hooks for bags. Tanner the bartender is amazing. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We shared brisket and it was plenty of food. Dessert is so good. We will definitely be back. The view isn't too shabby either.

One of our favourite meals during our trip to NYC. Cool concept and very tasty. We had the harissa chicken wings, the chicken kebab and the beef short rib - all cooked to perfection. The vibe was also cool, perfect views of the Manhattan skyline and great music too!

All I can say is wow! The view was spectacular. The food was spectacular. The house made pita bread were perfection, warm and tasty. The spreads were top notch; one was better than the next. Cocktails were yummy and so was little ice cream dessert cup. Come hungry and leave full.

The cocktails were fun and tasty, but they don't have beer on tap and the glass of wine I ordered was about a 4 oz pour which was painfully small for the price they charge. Fantastic food and view though. Very cool setting and open kitchen. We ate at the counter and you could feel the heat from the fire. I had the kebab and it was arguably the best I've ever had. The appetizer tray is phenomenal and you get unlimited refills on it! I'd give 5 stars if they didn't gouge on the drinks, or at least pour a decent glass of wine.

We travel a lot and can confidently say this is one of the best meals we have ever experienced. My husband is celiac / gluten free and they catered to him; we didn’t loose any aspect of the experience because of his allergies. He ordered chicken and I ordered eggplant — we have never tasted flavor like it; with all of the side dishes that were equally SO good. Not overrated at all, and we were lucky to catch a last minute 10:15pm reservation. The vibe and views are just icing on the cake. Incredible scenery. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

Food was excellent ! There is nothing to complain about food. I fall in love here. Who wouldn’t like this place? Normally I don’t recommend restaurants since everyone has different preference . However i strongly recommend this place ! Compliment bread was so fluffy & good . Of course all colorful salatim was amazing . Main food? Not to mention , main food was full of flavor . Meat was grilled on charcoal in perfect way. I can see that how much the chef care about grilling . When i had one bite of T-Bone steak, OMG! It’s so perfect ,delectable. I was impressed. Service was not that as good as food. But no problem. Gorgeous City Views covered it. I visited here twice , i definitely won’t stop going here. I usually don't go same restaurants more than three time unless it’s extremely good since there are endless restaurants in NYC. This place is exception .i will go whenever I have a chance. So good food & views at a reasonable price.

Had an amazing meal and experience. Love the straightforward prix fixe menu! Tons of sampling appetizers with one main course. Hummus was amazing. The French fries are a must. Save room for dessert. Incredible views of nyc skyline as well.

Still, the salatim are still the best part of the meal. (They are also meatless and fish-free, so a vegan could make a meal out of the grilled eggplant or cauliflower.) There’s baba ghanouj, smokier even than the grilled eggplant. There are gigante beans as big as your thumb, a fresh slaw of shaved fennel and cabbage, and another salad — pickled celery and pineapple — that is weird but also kind of great. I am not sure why the so-called Turkish tomatoes were so cold and slippery, but the pickled green tomatoes were terrifically crisp, like a new fall apple.

Absolutely delicious meal with some of the best hummus I’ve had in New York. After months of waiting I was finally able to get a reservation here and it did not disappoint. The menu is unique in that you get a spread of dips, a main course, and dessert for a a fixed price according to the main course you select. The view is incredible and the staff is very friendly. I cannot wait to come back!

The obvious thing to say is that the views from this place are amazing: right across the Marsha park, the East River, and the Manhattan skyline. The restaurant is on top of the Hoxton Hotel and there's a dedicated lift inside to get to it. The servers were super friendly and explained each of the food items very well. Essentially, all you have to choose are your meats from the grill and whatever sides you like. The starter is an array of small dishes served with delicious pita, and dessert is also included. We had the chicken, and the lamb + beef from the grill - it was all amazing. For drinks, we had a few cocktails - the frozen one was very tasty! Nice touches like the date stamped on the starter menu, showing the up-to-date array of dishes available. We got a table on a Friday at 6pm and the light and temp were perfect. The tables are outside and undercover with shades that lift right up. Definitely worth setting your Resy notify!

Stop whatever you’re doing in NYC… and check out Laser Wolf. Action Bronson was right… I could cry after going here. It was delicious… every dish… every bite was phenomenal!! We can’t stop raving about this place. We ordered the lamb and steak kabobs. The soft serve ice cream was also insane! Oh and the view is the cherry on top!

Delicious, fresh food. Excellent views and ambiance. Very good service! So why only 4:5? It’s overpriced. Not a ton of protein for $45+ mains… basically just one skewer a person. Sure the veggies complimenting the meal are great, but compared to say KBBQ, the price is just too high. Otherwise it was a great time!

Good views but very average food and doesn’t really live up to the hype. The unlimited Salatim is a cool concept but none of the items really stood out. The grilled fish was not good but the lamb made up for it. Ordered the foie and wings, both solidly executed but again, not spectacular.

Mixed feelings on this place. The most important part being the meal, it was very good! I wouldn’t say it was anything astonishing , but I really enjoyed it and thought it was an experience. The view was absolutely incredible! The reason I doc this place is the service. I have never in my life had such a rude hostess (both were extremely rude). It was like pulling teeth to be seated and explain I had a reservation. When my partner and I ordered the waitress also commented it was “too much food for any normal person to finish” and we finished it, so not really sure why that comment was necessary, but not something that should’ve been said. Overall fun and good food, but would rather go somewhere with nice people unfortunately.

This Israeli style restaurant beholds tasteful chic decor with a wonderful view of the New York City skyline in the back drop. Service was exceptional and the food was exquisite. Careful not to eat too much pita with all of the flavored salatim! 10/10 experience

Worth the wait. Some of the best hummus I’ve had in a long time and that says a lot. The food was absolutely delicious. The dip tray was out of this world. The wings? Ouf… The meat portions were small, but we were both satisfied and full. Overall sure it can be pricy for the amount of food you get but the taste, how full you feel from your meal, the service, that view and atmosphere makes up for it. I recommend; it’s a wonderful experience. ALSO!! My best friend ordered a scotch neat. They added ice. An honest mistake, but they apologized and said they would correct it. When they came back all they had done was remove the ice. It was still cold watered. Broke our hearts a bit.

Great food and dining concept—it’s a prix fixe menu where you get endless pita and whole plate of salatim (small accompaniments), plus 1 protein entree per person and a dessert. (There’s also optional add-on appetizer supplements but we found that the prix fixe was very filling enough on its own.) The area is normally outdoors, but it’s enclosed and heated during the winter so it’s very warm. We found that they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions—in particular, the usual prix fixe dessert had several allergies that would have made it otherwise unsuitable for our party but they modified the dessert so that everyone could enjoy.

Food was amazing and our waiter (Richie) was so so kind! He recommended getting the cauliflower and wings which were both out of this world incredible!! We also got the dorade and lamb/beef sausage thing which were both great. We loved everything! The drinks were also incredible! really can’t go wrong here. Just wish we could come more often but it’s so hard to get a reservation!

Incredible Israeli food. Ignore the fake 1 star reviews from individuals who have never even eaten here and came to the reviews to spew hate. The Salatim were on point, the lamb/brisket was incredible, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and had us laughing the whole night. The fries with the tahini ketchup were also incredible! If you complain about the price then you didn’t come to the right place, do your research. This place is priced for the high quality food, world famous chef, and experience. Thank you to the whole Laser Wolf crew! We had gotten engaged the night before and our meal was flooded with extra treats from the staff, they went out of their way to congratulate us and make our dining experience 10/10. A reminder for Google reviewers to limit your comments to the food and your personal experience at this restaurant. Food should unite us, not divide us.

One of my favorite restaurants in New York! Top quality food for a great deal (unlimited salatim??? Amazing) Plus, great views. Would definitely recommend going when the sun is setting for pics :) I am vegan so I appreciate that they have options for me! All of their salatim is vegan, and I always get the cauliflower entree with tahini instead of their yogurt sauce. Hard to get a reservation, but for good reason!

I have been so excited to try this spot since it opened and I finally got the chance! The staff were friendly but we sat for ages waiting to order and it gave off new staff or first week open vibes. We requested our heater to be turned down and then they turned off the heater over the table next to us. Nbd as they eventually turned ours off too but then they tried to bring us their drinks. THEN they. Right us refills of food we didn’t ask for and the CREM DE LA CREM was them bringing us their bill with our credit cards already swiped. If it was one of these things I wouldn’t have thought much of it but for a restaurant of this price, disappointing and alarming. The food was great but overpriced. All of the meats are $50+ and are 5 bites max. The schtick is thag you get unlimited accompaniments but… it was pita and dips and veggies. Absolutely not worth $50+ per person for food. It also came with dessert but it was an overly sweet soft serve that I didn’t care for. The wine was reasonable priced but the cocktails were all $20+. Overall I wouldn’t say run here but it’s got great views and if you can stomach the price then the food is good.

Loved this place, highly recommend. All the food was phenomenal. Very lively rooftop restaurant with beautiful views. Everything we ate was perfectly made. Short rib cut like butter. The eggplant was amazing - so perfectly done it was caramelized. Every item in the appetizer was delicious. And I was surprised that the price was a lot cheaper than I was expecting for all that food and the high quality. Very enjoyable experience overall, will definitely be going back often.

It's worth the wait! Make reservations, and you will not be disappointed. The food was a culinary explosion of flavor. The flavor was impeccable. Do yourself a favor and order the cauliflower. It had a brown sugar taste, but it wasn't sweet! Each meat was absolutely incredible (just get them all). The fries were amazing.... but get the Cauliflower! Meats - 10 stars Sides - 10 stars Dessert - 15 stars (I have a sweet tooth) Every time we took a bite, it was better than the last. Our server was awesome, fun and really helpful. The view was the cherry on top! This rooftop had breathtaking views of Manhattan. I was absolutely blown away. Don't miss out on this Uncut Gemmmmm 💎

An anticipated spot for a while (after watching an Action Bronson video), finally came on a Saturday night and all expectations were met and exceeded. Hard to get a reservation (booked 21 days in advance). We arrived early and waited in the bar downstairs which is a pleasant experience if you want to grab a drink. When we went up to the roof, we sat at the Chef’s Counter. Would highly recommend the Chef’s Counter if you like watching the chefs cook on the coal fired grill. Great aromas floating around too. We ordered the Chicken Shishlik and Lamb/Beef Koobideh. It’s pre fixe so all the salatim (dips) came with it. Fresh and tasty. We ordered fries a la carte, perfect amount of crisp and salt with the tehina ketchup. Ice cream was a delightful surprise, sweet and salty with the tahini syrup and sesame seeds. Our waiter Joao took great care of us and was quite surprised with how much we ate. Overall, an amazing experience and will be back very soon.

Had an incredible experience here, the food somehow manages to outshine the incredible view. This is now the place I’ll be recommending to people wanting a memorable meal. We got the steak skewer and the beef and lamb koobideh and both had fantastic flavor and texture. This meal made a Monday night in May feel like New Year’s Day. Big fan.

Delicious Mediterranean feast from Laser Wolf located on the rooftop of the Hoxton hotel in Williamsburg 🥰 the views of the city are amazing and it was such a great experience to enjoy great food with the city skyline as the backdrop! 🍽️Ordered: Prix fixe meal including salatim, meats, and dessert (Complimentary) duck fat fries This prix fixe menu includes an amazing spread of hummus, pickled veggies, and dips as well as your choice of meats. We ordered the salmon shishlik, chicken shishlik, and lamb kofta. Each of the meats were charred to perfection and had a beautiful smoky aroma. The salmon was my favorite since it was so tender and flavorful! I also loved the brown sugar soft serve with peanut butter bamba! The crunchy texture of the snack paired so well with the silky ice cream and it was a good level of sweetness. This is the perfect place to go with friends since you can try so many unique flavors and the portions are generous!!

This place was unreal. The views of New York Manhattan skyline while eating was absolutely mesmerizing. The food itself was so good! I loved the quantity and the hummus was some of the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone whether you're going on a date, going to celebrate, or just going with family too. Pricing was reasonable, quantity and quality was great. Customer service was amazing and the environment was just so calming and a perfect dinner spot. It would be great for lunch too! There's enough vegetarian options and the brown sugar soft serve at the end was sooooo good and unique.

Beautiful restaurant with stunning views of Manhattan. We got the foie gras and the wings to start, both were delicious. The rest of the menu was prix fixe - you order a main and get unlimited hummus + pita + various dips. Pita sometimes wasn’t hot but the various dips were great. For the proteins, portion sizes were generally small. The sea bass was good but definitely less flavorful compared to the other types of meats. We also got brisket, lamb kofta and beef + lamb. I think the lamb meats were probably the best! Last but not least the dessert ice cream that came with it was good too. Good way to end the night. Overall pretty pricey though.

Wow, another pleasant surprise! The food was delicious, the service was great and the view of Manhattan was stunning. As everyone already mentioned, the Chicken Shishlik is amazing and I strongly recommend it. It's so juicy and full of flavor! We also had the Lamb + Beef Koobideh which was also great and of course it all mixes well with the salatim. We sat at the bar watching them prepare the food which was a fun experience although it can get hot sitting so near the fire! Also, while we didn't order this time, the Whole Branzino w/Ginger & Tomato looked amazing. Definitely worth ordering if your a bigger group. I came on my birthday and everyone made sure to acknowledge it - nice touch! Overall great service, food and ambiance - we'll be back!

PHENOMENAL. I came with my wife and two friends on August 15th, 2023, 18:30 to celebrate a birthday of one of them. Everything was over and beyond. The lady at the elevator was kind and inviting (funny too, btw).. the bathrooms were constantly clean, and the soap... we were all sniffing each other's hands. The waitress was really kewl and professional, and generally speaking - all the staff were dressed really hip and seemed as an intelligent collective of people. The food - SUPERB. The salatim were replenished, the pitas were FRESH... they even offered us cold cucumbers for the hummus so we dont fill up before the food came! brilliant. My Amaretto Sour was PERFECTION, the wine was very good, the chicken wings were basically to die for. The rice was SO fluffy, The steak and chicken skewers were done so well... on-coal flavor, which is the best way to go. The fries were Micheline level, and to be honest? we didn't even need the T-Bone. (Not that is wasn't tasty!). The soft serve at the end was the cherry on top. The design and view were wonderful, the whole space is very clean and tidy. Great experience. Now we need more room / additional branch cause it's literally death to get a reservation (; As an Israeli that's super hard to impress - BRAVO. Can't wait for next time.

I found my experience at Laser Wolf to be quite disappointing. It almost feels like they are conducting a social experiment to test how much customers are willing to pay for a meal. The prices at this restaurant are significantly higher compared to other establishments in Manhattan. For instance, a fish comes with a hefty price tag of $170, while a few bites of grilled meat will set you back $50, and half of a cauliflower costs around $40. At these astronomical prices, you would assume that gratuity would be automatically included. After all, why not add insult to injury? Perhaps Laser Wolf should consider minimizing its seemingly idle waitstaff and bartenders who stand around without a care in the world. It might be worth considering optimizing the staffing levels, as I noticed several waitstaff and bartenders seemingly idle, which could potentially contribute to the overall expenses. It appeared as though our server was not particularly enthusiastic about her role. In terms of hygiene, it was concerning to witness the cook handling the fries with his bare hands. It would be advisable to utilize a scoop instead for a more sanitary food preparation process. Overall, while I appreciate the concept behind Laser Wolf, I believe there are areas where they could improve, such as pricing and service efficiency, to provide a more satisfying dining experience. Pass: Harissa Wings, Roasted Cauliflower Try: Chicken Skewer, Pita Bread, Salatim

This place is amazing, the food was delicious, it was very affordable. My only complaint was the heat… which isn’t there fault because your on the roof but she was sweating. Our server Tabby was an icon!!! The serving sizes are perfect, the table is too small for everything they give you unfortunately. I do wish they had more Israeli beer and wine!!

Come hungry! This place is comparable to restaurants in israel. The fluffy pita, the hummus, all the salatim, and the soft serve to finish? So, good. We left very full in the best way. We ordered the salmon and the eggplant as mains, both were very tasty but the eggplant was extra awesome. We didn't have a reservation but got there a few minutes before 5 pm when it opens and were seated at the bar within 10 minutes. It was a bit pretentious in the lobby/downstairs but once we got upstairs, everyone was so friendly. And the view? Never gets old. Just beautiful, I'd definitely come back. Overall for the amount of food you get, it's a very reasonable price considering the area. I'll be coming back to try the cauliflower and trout!

Amazing food, great service, and great restaurant setup. Huge fan of the way they set it up where the salatim (which is amazing) comes free and you can get more of the things u like and more pita as well. Would definitely recommend the harissa date chicken wings as well as the salmon. The salmon which they just added I believe was just amazing. It is cooked medium rare and is so tender and smoky and well seasoned. It was probably the best salmon I've ever had. Amazing service with super friendly staff (super attentive as well as they had pointed out one of our keys had fallen out of our pocket).

Absolutely fantastic, one of the best meals of my life. So many moments during this dinner completely blew me away. I can't describe the spread you have to just go try it for yourself. Service was excellent as well.

Laser Wolf combines a unique dinner offering with a stunning setting, both inside and out. The unlimited hummus, pita, and vegetables, along with the following skewers (choose from chicken, lamb, steak, etc) were pretty easily the best meal of this type I've had. Meat skewers are so often overcooked, but Laser Wolf manages to cook them perfectly, tenderly, and full of flavor, making the overall experience really stand out. The decor is tropical and plant filled, while the floor to ceiling windows let natural light and views of the city fill the restaurant. The crowd definitely feeds off of the setting, and there is a terrific energy in the space. Finish off the meal with a drink on their outside balcony and take in the views. Overall, a great experience if you can score a reservation. Come for: A lot of food and the chance to try a lot of different dishes. Watch out: It's really hard to get reservations here, which I think drives the expectation up a bit. It's a great experience, but don't let the challenge of getting a reservation overhype your expectations (tho it is great!)

  • 5/5 Megan M. 9 months ago on Google
Wow! What phenomenal food and service. It is very busy and extremely difficult to get reservations in advance. We waited 2 separate times for about 2 hours for a table, but it was worth the wait. This is located on the rooftop of the Hoxton Hotel and has gorgeous views of the city skyline. There is a bar downstairs in the lobby that you can have a drink at while you wait. The food was top notch from start to finish. It all came extremely quickly! We did the mezze platter, which comes with unlimited sides and pitas. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The hummus was super smooth to perfection. The brown butter soft serve was a nice end to meal and delicious beyond belief. Highly recommend!

I think the service is excellent, atmosphere great, however it just feels wrong to eat a different cultures food and claiming it as “Israeli.” These dishes came from families who were expelled from their homes in 1948. After all, food is an expression of history, culture and tradition is it not? Therefor, presenting dishes of Palestinian provenance as “Israeli” not only denies the Palestinian contribution to Israeli cuisine, but it erases the very history and existence.
