I’ve waited to share my feedback about apex because I was scared to lose my $2600 security deposit but I’ve accepted the fact it’s not coming. My lease terminated 8/27/23. I have tried multiple times to reach out to management about it but no one can help me nor do they care. I moved out 10 days earlier because the property manager assured me that I would get retro-active pay back for leaving the property before my expiration. I have documentation to prove I left early and communicated my expected departure 3 months in advance per our lease clause. Here are some of my other horror stories: 1. An employee of Apex burglarized my apartment and stole my identity. He stole thousands of dollars from me. He also burglarized 7 other units on the third floor. The employee went into my apartment and took pictures of all my personal information and then would proceed to make withdrawals out of my checking account. He was caught by Yonkers PD with my personal checks in his pocket. 2. There were times I would come back from work to find my apartment unlocked…when I confronted the front desk they would openly admit that they “mistakenly” viewed my apartment for a tour and forgot to lock my door. This happened 3x in a 14 month period. 3. Several neighbors on my floor would get their cars broken into. From what I heard NO ONE PAYS FOR PARKING AND ITS TRULY A FREE FOR ALL. 4. At the end of my lease…they raised my rent $600 to force me out because they didn’t want me sharing my story. Meanwhile I found out other people who were affected were raised even higher. 5. The fire alarm goes off between 1am-4am at least 3x a month. If you like sleep…be prepared to be woken up. One time the property manager blamed the rain for the faulty security alarm. 6. There is a monthly security camera fee…meanwhile there is 0 security cameras on the tenant floors. Only by the garage entrances and main door. I am truly hurt (financially) from Apex because I always did the right thing. I always paid on time. I kept my apartment immaculate. I didn’t even hang a tv because I didn’t want to make holes in the wall (I wanted my security deposit back). When I moved out …I took extra care to thoroughly clean my apartment…I guess that didn’t matter either. I never caused issues with the staff…they were nice and considerate. I truly tried to be a good resident and they burned me so bad. They stole thousands from me and kept my security deposit to boot. I am sure they will create fake positive posts to bury this. I will post this weekly until someone contacts me and returns my security deposit. Do not fall for the pretty views like I did. AVOID AT ALL COST!

The Apex is indeed a beautiful building ! Very aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately the maintenance on both ends ( residents and management ) is terrible. The trash rooms are so disgusting that you think twice about walking in to throw out trash ! Garbage is flooded in trash room floors. Unfortunately this is a resident issue and not so much management fault but more cleaning people should be hired day and evening. I hate to say that it doesn’t take a genius to see the people cleaning are not doing the best job. The walls in the hallways could be painted Atleast once a year they look very dirty . The lobby of the building is the only floor very well cleaned and taken care of. The door to enter the stair cases are usually broken , at this very moment on the 5th floor the glass on staircase door is broken and shattered this is a hazard and management really does not care as it is a quick fix to have it replaced or Atleast tape it up and put a sign for residents to use with caution . The parking garage has many abandoned cars especially on the fifth floor with a car with garbage all around it and under it it looks like a junk yard up there . Upon signing the lease thy advise that your vehicle must be registered and in compliance to be parked mind you the abandoned vehicles have no plates No registration stickers and have not been moved in years, therefore I’m sure they are not insured which puts every resident and their vehicles at major risk. It sucks that parking is about 200$ and it is equivalent into parking in a junk yard. These are things where management fails. They need to hire more staff. Especially in the cleaning department. Cleaning needs to be done Atleast 2-3 times a day morning afternoon and evening, on Sundays the building is a wreck. Elevators dirty and smelly . Moral of the story the building is beautiful not the Best residents and terrible management and maintenance. A little discipline goes a long way and if management Cared just a little bit it would be an amazing building. However please visit other buildings in the area which may also not be the best but are Atleast much safer and CLEANER which is always the main goal when apartment searching . The apex fails in both and by the looks of it , over the years it’s getting worst where there is now a huge mouse problem and rodent problem

Avoid the Apex at all costs. This building is lipstick on a pig. Don't let the flashy lobby and nice gym fool you. It's dirty and full of mice and roaches. Management is unresponsive and useless and your rent is full of hidden fees. Most tenants that live here are just waiting for their lease to run out so they can leave - I wouldn't be surprised if management is behind the current higher Google rating. I feel like I'm back living in the projects, except with builders grade finishes. There are far better options in Westchester.

The fire alarms go off at random at all hours, including the middle of the night. The buildings are not maintained well. Dog poop, or pee are seen in the hallways. It takes forever for them to empty trashes and clean the garbage rooms. A package went missing the first week I lived there. The pool filtration system would stop working so the pool would close for days and even closed early for the season. Our car was broken into in the garage and we were told the cameras didn't work and nothing could be done to help us. Safety and security is huge concern. No real security, some building entrances are left open. anyone can park in the garage as long as they tailgate you into the lot. STAY AWAY!

I have a mental disability and had asked the apartment to accommodate me (which I had the right under state law). Not only did it feel like I was being pressured into signing the lease BEFORE them agreeing to accommodate my disability. The response I got was "According to fair housing guidelines, we cannot treat you any differently than any other resident that signs a lease." When I pointed out that the VERY guidlines they stated, ALSO stated I had the RIGHT to request accommodation, I was told they had to speak to their lawyer, which they had every right to but time was not on my side and without a signed lease, I was left with no place to go. Communications takes weeks to get ANY Form of response and so I even went to the property in person to mitigate to no avail. Their response was quiet disgusting to be honest and I am so GLAD they showed me what kind of property they are before I moved because i would have been miserable. Grace was AMAZING though and I wish her all the best, she is such an Gem.

This is the best apartment I’ve lived at on the East coast. Metro North is walking distance or a short drive to the city. Best water-views…. Ships sailing by my windows all day with NY skyline behind it. Gym is massive with lots of equipment. Rooftop sky lounge will be amazing in the spring and can’t wait to see the pool. I’ve met some really nice people in the community and love watching all the dog walkers. I feel 100% safe and comfortable in this apartment. Nicole at the office is absolutely amazing and has taken care of all our needs and countless questions. Walk in closets, subway tile in bathrooms, full size dishwasher and massive washing machine. This place makes living so much more enjoyable.

My time at Apex Hudson Riverfront has been nothing short of fantastic. The management team has been attentive, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure resident satisfaction. Not only are the apartments beautifully designed and well-maintained, but the amenities provided truly enhance the overall living experience. I would highly recommend Apex to anyone I know.

From my initial inquiry to a personal tour of available units conducted by Wayne, who is the Property Manager, to Grace, who processed my application to the receptionist. They were all personable, professional and very kind. The property met and exceeded my expectations
