GTK is a great idea, I love love love the concept, and the food is fairly good. However their portions and prices just don't work. I picked up a steak sandwich myself and only tipped 18% (which I do feel a bit bad about). My total was twenty one bucks, and the sandwich was TINY! It was a bit under six inches long, and not particularly fully packed. Literally next door at the deli you can get a larger and better tasting steak sandwich for seven fifty. One block north you could go sit at Gringos and get two steak tacos and a beer which would be more food and a drink for for the same price. I'm focusing on this one sandwich, and I see the owner does comment on reviews about portion sizes and price saying that their are more "value" items on the menu. I mean... OK. Yes, if you get a bowl of mostly rice, it is slightly cheaper but still quite overpriced compared to even Manhattan. If GTK cut their prices in half, it would be an OK value. If they reduced by 40% I might still go there occasionally. But I honestly don't understand the business model here. When ordering, it did not occur to me that a twenty dollar steak sandwich would leave me still hungry. Two stars because the sandwich itself wasn't bad.

I have ordered takeout and delivery here many times and i have never been disappointed. The mashed potatoes ROCK and the portion sizes are so nice. The pulled pork is so delicious and tender. I really enjoy this spot! Look at this side of corn bread — size of my hand!!!!

Ordered a large catering order from them with a less than 24 hours notice. The owner delivered it himself and the food was very tasty and delicious. Everyone raved about for the rest of the day. 5 Star Service! 10/10 would recommend!

I'll start by saying the flavors were delicious and on point. There was plenty of seasoning and sauce and it was good to the last bite. We got the Buffalo and Jerk Wings, as well as a Greek salad. The issue is that there weren't many bites to begin with. For $15+ wings and a $11+ salad, you would expect to get wings with a little meat on the bones. As you can see from the pictures, the celery was packing more meat than the actual wings were! The wings couldn't have been bigger than 2-3 inches long. The jerk wing (on the left) was a wing so aside from being tiny, it had two huge bones in it. The buffalo wing (right) appeared to be chopped through the bone so that one wing was turned into two. The salad was also very small. We were hoping to share the salad between two people but it ended up barely being enough for one person. All-in-all, we spent close to $50 and were still hungry afterwards. Again, the flavors were on point and if they sell their sauces it's worth grabbing. However, unless you plan to have a second dinner immediately after this one, I'd look elsewhere.

This place is amazing. Discovered it on a bike ride. Since moving to jersey city from nyc this is the best food I have had. Everything is Bussin! I got the teriyaki bowl with steak and a carrot cake. Needless to say my day is now complete. Thank you!

I really enjoy a few of the menu items, namely: grilled garlic cheese with tomato bisque, the wings, Mac & cheese, corn bread (oh the corn bread!). I found the buffalo chicken sandwich really underwhelming Vs the rest of the food - needed more buffalo, chicken needed to be cooked a bit more & blue cheese didn't add enough zest on the sandwich (maybe to dip it'd be better, & then having a different cheese melted on the sandwich itself). There are only a couple stools in the store - it's mainly a delivery/takeout service - so don't expect to dine In.

Never. Ever. Disappoints. I have gotten food several times- Mac n cheese, Jamaican jerk bowl, chicken curry bowl, cauliflower hash, carrot cake. All so amazing. And so much flavor!! Truly one of the best spots in JC for food. Everything is always so good. AND the staff are super nice and friendly, especially upon my first visit- meeting Stephanie and Prince. Highly highly recommend!

This Food is Amazingggg!! Great variety of food and SUPERIOR quality food. Good food takes time so be ready to wait up to 15 minutes but absolutely worth it.

Amazing food! And amazing service. Order delivery from here a lot and food is always consistent and delicious. A single time I had an issue with an order and when I called the employee was incredibly nice, polite, and apologetic. Sent out the corrected order immediately and threw in some extra treats. Would definitely recommend

Food has been great. I had a problem once and they resolved it immediately. I would recommend delivery instead of pickup, because it has been 15-20 minutes later than expected each time.

Ordered delivery through ubereats twice. both their bbq and Buffalo wings were flavorful and tasty. The mac and cheese was rich in flavor, using spiral pasta. The turmeric rice was sweet, no hint of turmeric or in-your-face Coconut aftertaste.Corn bread was classic style and is so good when melted butter is drizzled on top (yay, didn’t contain bits of Corn -which I abhor). Standard order of 10 wings can feed a party of (2) if you load up on sides. Otherwise, these are organic wings which means small size.

Thanks to GTK I’m a big fan of Mac and cheese! The bbq pulled pork was exquisite. I had the Thai curry wings. They were just perfectly made! The wings were smoked/barbecued, so they were nicely chard. With a perfect coat of Thai curry. The buffalo chicken mac & cheese were good they had just the right amount of buffalo.

This place freaking rocks! The food quality is so good. I am fully addicted to the Latin veggie burrito - it has become a regular order in our house. The bowls burritos salads sides really everything is so delicious. An absolute must to keep in regular rotation for takeout!! Also delivery is always very reliable and on time.

Been hearing about this place for awhile decided to finally give it a try. I usually order the chicken teriyaki dumplings, they’re a hit. Wish the prices were slightly cheaper for the portions you’re usually served.

Sorry, but this is not a bowl of soup. This is the thought of soup. This is an $11 bowl of iceberg lettuce. It’s all delicious, but this place is a bit over priced for the tiny portions :(. Just got takeout and the found was outstanding. The potato kale soup was especially delicious. Will definitely be eating here again.

Mashed potatoes and egg & cheese sandwich were decent. Other then that mac and cheese was horrible they use a weird smoked cheese. The sweet and sour chicken Rice and broccoli is horrible the sauce is very bad, don't order it. Total waste of money.

Ghost truck is just amazing. The chicken wings blow my mind. They’re gluten-free and delicious. Great ingredients.

Exqusite. The service was magnificent. The staff had a great vibe in general. 10/10 But it was the food that put a smile on my face. I ordered the Buffalo Mac’n Cheese and the Ceasar Salad. WOW! The salad was perfect, with the delicious Ceasar dressing separate, so you could add the perfect amount for you. The Mac’n Cheese… My mouth start watering just by writing this. I cannot describe the dish, you’ll have to taste it yourself. Highly recommended! And their homemade carrot cake with whipped cream and salted caramel was so tasty! I’ll be back as soon as I can! 11/10

I finally found some good vegan and vegetarian food in jersey city. The vegan Bahn Yu was delicious and well seasoned including the cauliflower hash browns. The carrot cake is now on my top five as best carrot cake I ever had. I will be a returning customer

I love garlic wings but i think naked wings are a bit too burnt. Sides are good too.Reasonable price. btw I like their sticker design too. Will order again.

I’ve had the pleasure of ordering from here several times, and I have to say the food is consistently delicious! Very flavorful meals, which taste fresh and like it’s home cooked. Also, the staff is incredibly nice every time I come in for pick up. The first time I ever ordered, I accidentally made a typo with my phone number so I never received a text that my meal was being packaged and almost ready. When I showed up, they said they hadn’t packed it yet because they didn’t want it to get cold since they could see the text didn’t go through. So thoughtful! Ever since then, I have had continuously great experiences. I highly recommend!!

Prior to pandemic I experienced GTK and it was excellent. Tasty diverse menu ! Staff always professional and courteous. During the pandemic has been a key cog in the food acquisition process! Love them !

Found them on google when looking for food in Jersey City. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, buffalo wings, & cornbread. Everything was great but the cornbread was the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.

Consistently one of the best restaurants in Jersey City hands down. Ive ordered for myself, family, friends and coworkers and they all love the food here. Pulled pork burrito and the Steak sandwich are the best. The desserts are also amazing. You can tell everything is fresh and handmade quality food. I love Ghost Truck!

But really though. Some of the best buffalo wings I’ve ever had in my life. Love the variety love the apple pie love the healthy food. Great find

First review: Great food, but, as others have already pointed out, really inadequate portions, especially given these prices. Edit: After my first bowl order where I had an issue with tiny portions, I was recommended ordering a bowl instead even though the order had already been a bowl one. Then, I ordered a bowl doubling my protein to be safe. That order was decent. However, when I repeated my “double the protein” order, they didn’t double my protein even though it was the same order. Wound up paying 30 bucks for a small bowl and still feeling hungry like one of the reviewers below. They are very stingy with portions.

Finally I had the change to try it. I ordered the naked chicken wing and the steak Baum-yu. Both were delicious!! Highly recommend it!

Without going into too much detail, Ghost Truck is very close to my flat. I can't express how great it is to be able to order something for pickup just before clocking out and having a fresh meal for dinner. Definitely try the wings and cornbread!

The green coconut chicken curry is so delicious! I wish it was offered all year. It's a unique flavor, with a good kick. It's presented beautifully, and packaged sustainably. Oh yes, Ghost truck, I like to take partial credit for the regular offering now. 😊

Had the cauliflower soup, Mac n chez and bbq wings….soooo good! A lot of attention to incorporating different flavors which you don’t see often. For take out it was very good. My bf loved the wings-they were smaller but we know that’s because they come from a bird not treated with hormones etc. and the process of the way it was cooked was awesome! We will be ordering again and trying everything else on the menu that sounds different and delicious!

Very good Buffalo chicken sandwich! The taste of the chicken was fresh and definitely cooked to perfection. Definitely try! I did not get the blu crumble on mine.
