If you go intk the entrance without the person in the booth expect the metrocard machine to not be working and have no options but to go to the next station at Neptune or walk 3 blocks around to get the other entrance. Always smells like urine mear the stairs. Beautiful view of the park across the street through the fence and the outside archeticure is really cool.

Decent station, but could be decorated to reflect the nearby aquarium or something creative.

Rarely take subway but this one was nice. Clear signage. Accept Apple Pay. Would be nice to have restroom facilities and more shops. It’s not overwhelmingly confusing.

This subway is ...a surprize. I always think I have to go back to the Stillwell one. One issue...there are different levels and it made me question if I was going the right way - if maybe this was going around a long way...if I should be on the other platform. NOTe - ths review is for the subway station - not for the aquarium...seems many people are confused.

Pretty .quiet Could use some cleaning. The older trainsncould use a something where it calls your name for the stop you want. Wi fi. Could use some tar painted on the rusted green ceiling.

Terrible subway stop! One of the exits are run down and it is at a dead end far from Coney Island and no houses or shops or walkways.

I went in there 10 years ago and I don't know how it is in there now days, but I do know this, the price to go in there is ridiculous, you be better of going fishing and seeing every sea animal that you catch on your fishing hook .

West 8th street, New York Aquarium station is good. Great location next to historic Luna Park. One block away from boardwalk and ocean. Many fast food and restaurants like ihop, Dunkin Donuts, Sugar and few small ones are still here. Next to Luna Park Housing, Trump Village, Warbase, DMV, 60th Precinct.

The neighborhood and station were quiet the night the photos were taken due to a major construction project taking place that lasted more than a week on the F and Q lines. Also, it was pretty cold that night.

This station looks abandoned and barely anyone goes here especially on the F train platform. The view of the rollercoaster and amusement park is nice

Fairly clean stop. This station has an upper and lower level, which can get noisy at times. Q train is at the upper level, and F train is at the lower level.

🫀 Zoo York! Hustle and bustle, where the elderly are jostled on staircases by youths who snag the first seats available. Pretty stain-glassed atrium. The two elevators are slow, ascending/descending only one level before one has to dismount and board the other elevator.
