1 star because I can't put 0. Omgg I do not know where to start! Choosing this hotel was the worst choice of my life! WARNING, the pictures are deceiving. The room was very dirty, there was a foul smell. There was no soap and cleanliness in the bathroom. The walls were disgusting. Luckily I only stayed one night or I would have had a heart attack. It was the worst night of my life and I will have traumatic memories of it !! I do not recommend this hotel at all except for a rich experience during your stay in New York. Adios amigos !

To start off super content with the customer service I had received from Peter! Super helpful informing me with the check out, rates and other questions I had asked. Super clean hotel/motel located downtown of Union City NJ. Super convenient to explore Union City if interested, there are some Spanish food restaurants, shopping stores, and the list goes on. The bedroom is located in the 3rd floor, bedroom has tv, ac, small window and stand in shower. Bedroom was decent for it’s one night stay price less then $100. Highly recommend if you’re in the Hudson County Area , Super Easy commute to NYC and the Lincoln Tunnel.

I WAS ROBBED! I booked a room, I showed up at the hotel and was told that my booking had been cancelled. They seemed nice, and they said that I would Receive a Refund in 3-5 business days. Very Dishonest, they did not refund me, they took my money and they booked someone else in the room. They ignored me when i tried to inquire about this. DONT expect a room if you book this place!

Trevis, Eduardo and Peter are excellent people, kind and helpful. We had a small issue at the moment of the check in but they promptly solved it in an extremely kind and professional manner. Definitely recommend to stop by this hotel if u are around Union City. Commuting to NYC is only 30 minutes on public transports. Thank u for everything!

Totally recommend! Really good hotel, everything is clean and have all the amenities you will need. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is great. Peter was really kind and helped us with good tips of places to see and visit. New York is just 20 minutes away by bus, the bus stops right at the corner and there are busses all night and all day. Next to the hotel there are a lot of shops, restaurants, and supermarkets that are cheaper than in New York. On my next trip I will be coming back to Central hotel for sure.

At April 18, 2022, I booked this hotel for April 22-23, 2022 and it has already confirmed yet. The proof of confirmation letter (2 emails received) attached here. At April 22 morning I arrived at the hotel and the receiptionist said that my booking date was for April 21 ---not April 22. I wa shocked. I don't know how that can be happened, but I insist that I booked for April 22. They said may be it was caused by the system error or somethings else, but once again I am sure I booked for April 22 as written on confirmation letter. So the hotel claimed that I no show the day before, and I must look for another hotel at that time. I never experience the terrible thing like this and i am so disappointed.

I booked a bed in a female dormitory for 5 nights via HostelWorld only to find out a few hours later that my booking is cancelled because they do not offer that dormitory (anymore or at all). They said thay contcted HostelWorld to remove the offering from the webiste and app and that I will be refunded in 3-5 days. That didnt happen. It is been more than 10 days and now, when I contacted them again, they do not answer.

Pretty decent place, costumer service was good and for people who is trying to get a reservation here there some things you need to know. It has a microwave and a refrigerator, they also give you one towel per person. There is no parking lot but there is one public parking very close union city about 1 block away, for 10 hours I paid $5.75. There is no where to cook. However I found it a bit dirty, the floor, walls, the smell its not pleasant, the hallways and bedrooms. The beds were clean.

It's a great Hotel location to stay the staff is extremely professional and courteous, and they attend to every of your details. The front desk staff Denisse, Peter, and Travis. Are extremely friendly and professional. I will highly recommend the Central Hotel to every travelers seeking a clean, quiet, professional establishment.

I booked a room 3 months in advance and my reservation was canceled with only two days notice due to double booking. Staff was friendly and apologized several times, but I ended up without a room two days before the trip, which is unacceptable from a hotel in my opinion.

Friendly staff and it’s great if you are only there to sleep The only thing is that my girlfriend and I left at 8:00am on a holiday on Monday after going to bed at 4am and we couldn’t see anyone at the working at front desk to do the proper checkout. We felt stressed so we had to leave a note with the key on the desk since our Lyft was waiting outside

very nice neighborhood - friendly chill owners (Thx Traves!) - room is okay if you need a comfortable bed and a shower (tv en fridge are nice xtra's in my opinion). I will definitely book a room in Central Hotel on my next trip to NYC

Hey don't waste your money . Expect to sleep with mouse and rats .. ran so unfortunately people party in the hallway all night late hours this is a welfare/ shelter / halfway house .

I had to cancel my reservation and they didn't help me finding a solution. I asked them about the images that showing rats inside the bedroom but they didn't respond. They only said that my reservation was cancelled and finally they received my money.
