Dance A Lot Ballroom choreographed both my first dance with my husband and my father-daughter dance for my wedding. The dances were easy enough for us to learn as beginners, but did not at all feel cookie cutter. The choreography was truly designed to fit the music and my two dances were completely different from each other. Georgi is a great instructor. He gives corrections in a way that is easy to understand. He tells you not just that you have done something wrong, but provides actionable tips and tricks on how you can fix it. He was also extremely patient with us when it came to parts that we were struggling with and was great at adapting to the different learning styles of my husband and father. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Dance A Lot to other brides.

AHHHMAZING! My husband and I wanted a choreographed dance for our first dance at our wedding. We happened to be at a bridal show when my husband, then Fiancé, said to me “oh those where my dance teachers from a while back!” Insert Georgi and Adriana. They instantly remembered my husband! They were both so warm and energetic that we just knew they were who we were going to choose. Our first meeting, I had Georgi listen to our song and even as he was listening for the first time, ideas were just flowing to his mind. He took it and worked his editing magic and I swear to you, when I say it was edit perfect… I mean PERFECTION! The edit was done and ready for our second visit where Georgi also had all the choreography finished. I can’t even begin to tell you how much Georgi and I were on the same brainwave! It was beautiful! I teared up when him and Adriana showed us. Both of them are so fun loving! Every class was full of laughs and so enjoyable. I was sad to see it come to an end. If you are here reading reviews trying to figure out who to use, look no more! Georgi and Adriana are without a doubt the way to go!

I absolutely love this dance studio. My twins started when they were 3 years old and they loved dancing here. Georgi and Adriana have created a happy place for my kids where they are learning the art of dancing. The poise, grace and patience with which they teach kids is heartwarming. My kids have performed in 2 recitals over the last year, it has built their self confidence performing in front of large crowds. I highly recommend Dance A Lot Ballroom Studio to anyone looking to learn how to dance.

Georgi and Adriana were the best dance instructors. My husband and I took lessons before our wedding. We were nervous and not very skilled at performing in front of a crowd; Let alone skilled at dancing. Georgi and Adriana made us feel comfortable, allowed us to ask a million questions, and made us feel confident. They have great personalities and really cared about us as clients. If we could do it all again we wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Highly suggested!

My husband and I looooved our experience so much, we recommended Georgi and his wife to our best friends. From the very beginning they were so accommodating and understanding. Our first dance for our wedding was truest amazing! My husband has two left feet, but working with Georgi really helped him overcome and we danced in front of 150 guests! We had an incredible experience with Georgi at Dance A Lot! We were so disappointed after going to another (brand-name) dance studio, which wanted to give us cookie-cutter dance and group lessons. Needless to say, I was skeptical when I messaged Georgi. His enthusiasm was instantly palpable when he messaged me back. My husband and I chose a fast song, which I thought would be challenging but Georgi asked us for our input while choreographing IN FRONT OF US. It was so cool to watch! We got to help design our dance. He included some fun moves and some classical moves, plus two dips, a lift, and a very dramatic drop! What I loved most about working with Georgi was right from our first meeting, he was really interested in getting to know us. He wanted to know how we met and got engaged, and even the littlest details of our wedding to help him create our dance. He was considerate and thoughtful - he wanted to know the design of my dress so that he could make sure I could move well and comfortably. He wanted it to feel like it was "ours." Everyone at the wedding went NUTS. It was a huge surprise. Three years later, we still hear about it from our guests. (especially at other weddings!) I loved our practices together. It was like therapy. People say that dance lessons are marriage insurance - and I wholeheartedly agree. I really miss our dance lessons and hope we get to work with Georgi again soon. MY husband (not an extravagant person) frequently says that the dance lessons were the best money we spent on the wedding. I agree. You will not be disappointed!"

My husband and I had lessons with Georgi for our wedding dance, and it was an incredible experience. Our dance was beautiful. It matched our song, and all of our guests were so surprised. We have no experience with dance or any type of choreography, and I still can't believe we learned the whole thing! Georgi is an excellent teacher. The lessons were paced perfectly, so we learned the whole dance in two lessons and then spent the rest of the lessons practicing certain moves and improving. I highly recommend you practice your dance between each lesson; this allowed Georgi to focus on certain areas with us. Dance lessons are also a great date night! If you're considering Dance A Lot for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

INCREDIBLE!.. Georgi Transformed me from the TIN MAN into a SILKY smooth 😎 dancing machine 🕺 If I could dance, anyone could! My wife and I were in desperate need of some wedding lessons for our big day in August. With little time left as our wedding was slowly creeping up we gave Dance A lot Ballroom a call. Georgi was very polite and professional over the phone and I was delighted he would take us in for beginner classes. Georgi was great and helped us decide what songs and dances would best suit our taste and theme. He was brilliant on choreographing the dance step by step, in front of us and tweaked any detail we might of wanted. He blended 3 songs and 3 dances into once act. It was amazing how quickly he put together a 4 minute dance act in just several minutes. We were definitely up for a wild challenge! Georgi warned us this wouldn't be any easy task on any level. We were trying to pull off a 4 minute dance that normally would take a few months to master under only a couple of months to complete. Needless to say, we pulled it off! Dance turned out terrific and we can't wait to go back for more! Can't recommend this place enough

We wanted to take dance lessons to have more than a high school sway on the dance floor at our wedding. Dance A Lot Ballroom gave us a fun weekly activity during all the stress that wedding planning can be, and a great dance for our first dance. One of the unexpected aspects that we appreciated was Georgi preparing us for the entrance and conclusion of our dance, so that we were prepared for everything that was going to happen during our entrance as a couple leading into the first dance. They were also fun lighthearted but serious lessons. We had so many guests at our wedding tell us that the dance looked natural and like “us”, which meant a lot to us. We would recommend him and the rest of the team to anyone looking for dance lessons, and well worth the weekly hour-long drive.

Picture Perfect! I met Georgi at a Bridal Expo, and I could not be happier to have had that encounter! After meeting him, I added a dance lesson fund to my wedding registry and we were lucky to have family and friends who contributed to the dance lessons. It was a special surprise for them to see how amazing our dance turned out! Georgi was a fantastic instructor for both my then-fiancé and I. We started off with the 5 class package but ended up adding two more classes to make sure the dance was absolutely perfect before the wedding. Georgi edited down our wedding song to 2.5 minutes (perfect length!) and perfectly choreographed a routine with lots of photo-worthy and WOW moments. He even helped me coordinate when to tell the sparkler technician to put the sparklers on. Overall, the dance lessons were a great activity for my husband and I leading up to the wedding and our guests have not stopped talking about how much they loved our dance! Georgi is patient, kind, and talented. I highly recommend working with Georgi at Dance A Lot.

My wife and I took our wedding first dance lesson with Georgi. It was a daunting task for me as I was starting from 0. Georgi designed and tailored the choreography to match the tone of our wedding as well as our own level of skill and comfort. The class was fast-paced but not rushed, rigorous but not without some good laughs every time. By the end we were pretty amazed at what we achieved.

This is a fun place to learn how to dance without being judged. The instructors are very talented and put their heart and soul into everything they do. All the instructors are extremely talented and helpful to people of all ages and skills. They have a wonderful staff. My private instructor, Georgi, was awesome. Gave me the skills and confidence to learn latin dancing. Love this studio. Highly recommend this place for all types of dancing. I loved to see how they teach their students and also the way they teach and choreograph for couples who were getting married. Highly recommend this place.

This is the place to go to!! My now wife and I went here for lessons for our wedding dance with zero dance background and our dance was a hit! We were very nervous that our dance wouldn’t be good but it was amazing! I can not tell you how many people have asked us where we went and how many lessons we took. We only went for a couple lessons and our dance was a hit! The one on one consultation that they did for us was amazing down to detail! Every detail meaning as small as a hand behind the back to arm placement was simply amazing. Dance A Lot even helped us edit our song so that the dance was more powerful and an impact for our guests! Dance A Lot broke down every choreographed move so that we could wow our guests! Each dance instructor was very passionate, kind and understanding while teaching us! Dance lessons at Dance A Lot Ballroom were literally the best part of wedding planning! The entire staff made learning a personalized and choreographed first dance so much fun! Dancing became our weekly date night, learning a brand new skill that was full of laughs. Our first dance was an absolute hit, and we got so many compliments on it! I cannot recommend them enough!! They even called the following day to see how everything went, and were just as excited as us to see the video of our dance.

I met Georgi in January of this year at a Bridal Expo in Secaucus at a booth, I was really impressed with his passion and professionalism with Dance. I had considered learning a formal dance for our wedding. So my fiancé at the time and I met with him in February and we discuss what type of music we wanted to dance to for our first dance. He was very patient and provided excellent feedback and tips. He choose the absolute perfect song! We picked a samba style music. Georgi showed us first the basic steps and each week he stepped it up with more difficult steps. On one of our sessions he choreographed our dance on the spot and broke down the dance by sections. It was difficult to get the hang of the steps but Georgi was very patient with us and showed us the steps over and over again. We mastered our dance and absolutely loved his critique about hand placement and poses for the perfect photos. We are in awe that we were able to pull off the dance at our wedding. We loved having Georgi as our instructor and would definitely book him again. Thank you Georgi!

we just had a dance party for my daughter's birthday at the Studio. The party was a big success, we all had so much fun! Georgi and Adriana were super accommodating and very pleasant to work with! They are both patient and concise in their communication and their physical presentations of routines are exceptional. They created a custom dance to the song of our choice and went over every portion piece by piece until it was perfect. Unfortunately our wedding was postponed two years due to covid but they were extremely accommodating and helpful as we had to relearn everything the second time around.
