The food was below average until we found a cockroach in our food. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The refund was only provided for the food with the cockroach in it and they where not apologetic about it. If you want to enjoy a cockroach infused curry then this is the place for you.

AmuIndia One of the best Indian restaurant in Columbus Area. Friendly service and very tasty food. I Recommend to try this place. They used to have Lunch buffet but not any more. We order Goat Biriyani and tea. Cholly Buttura and Goat kurma with Garlic Nan and mango lassi.

I've been coming here for a while and been to other Indian restaurants around Dublin and Columbus. I can say without any doubt this is one of the best Indian restaurant around. The best thing is all their meat is Halal due to the Muslim demand. They're always busy which means the food is more fresh. I would like to suggest the management to reduce the price other then the Buffet please.

We ordered from here (via Uber eats) after seeing all the amazing reviews and were so shook when it arrived. Firstly, it takes forever. Secondly, they forgot one of the items we ordered, i.e. Kheer. Thirdly, their portions are so small. Like the biriyani box easily fit in my palm. Chicken tikka masala was alright. I could taste the tomato part, like it wasn’t cooked until “rawness” went away. Kadhai ginger lamb was really good, nice rich flavor. Lamb biriyani, butter Naan and rice were alright. Decent Indian place, but we might just go pick up next time to ensure we get everything and can eat quicker.

We arrived at restaurant at 9. And by the time we went inside it was 910. The manager or whoever was there said they will not seat us for dine in. They said that they will make our food if we take it for takeout but not if we dine in. He said he’s been working since morning. If you work in restaurant business you are bound to work long hours. The sign on their door says that they close at 1030 on Saturday. This restaurant has horrible service and do not care to change their sign. The open sign was on as well. If you can make food for takeout, why not make it for dine in. The hours on the sign should be respected. Especially for customers who have been going to dine in very often.

Do not eat here. We finished our lunch and ordered the golab jamoon in syrup. There was a cockroach in the desert. They offered to take the desert off the tab or bring us another one. The apology they offered us was not a shocked or appllad apology. This was about the most disgusting thing I've ever experienced.

I give it 3 stars because it just wasn't my cup of tea but by the looks of it they seem like they are a popular place and all different people of different ages, ethnicities, groups and parties were dining there and enjoying the food and themselves in the restaurant. They had very nice clean place with nicely set tables, our ice waters were poured in wine glasses/goblets, and the dishes were very nice (not cheap). They were very polite and got our order right but I had never had Indian food before, my son was sure I would like it. It was way too hot 🔥 for me still and my son told the waiter to make it a 4 or 5/10 on a scale of spice where 10 is the hottest and I said not to even make mine that hot. So I should have just said 1/10 or no spice at all LOL 😁. I can't handle that type of heat anymore! I did like the 3 different types of "Nan" bread that we got. My favorite was the cheese and the chef's special. We never really had the same waiter stop at our table more than once. It was hard to tell who our actual waiter was, especially to know who was responsible for getting the tip. (I like to know if another waiter is just very helpful and is doing all my waiter's work for them so I can tip that waiter with cash and tip my waiter accordingly.) When we finally got our bill I tried to hand it back to him immediately with my card in it but he left to quickly. We waited 25 minutes trying to flag someone down because they were too busy and weren't making eye contact, and we were already running late and needed to leave. But in the end my son liked his food and that's who picked the restaurant. So that's why i still gave them 3 stars even though I, personally, didn't care for the food.

We ordered chicken tikka masala but it’s not grilled, same with malai kofta I think they use the same gravy for both dishes . Garlic nan was good and mango shake was too sweet . I spend $50-60 for 2 people , visited first time and don’t like it.

Great food that we have been eating for many years. Since the pandemic, we mostly do carryout. They have great hours of operation while other places stop serving at 1 pm and then open again at 5 pm.

Good service and all. But when you come for Indian food you want larger portions. Especially coming from California. These portions are a lot smaller and the food is way more expensive than what were used to paying out there for the same items. Not sure why. Still looking for our go to Indian restaurant in Ohio. Edit: adjusted to three stars because flavor is delicious.

Overall food was great, except paneer bhurji. Paneer bhurji was dry and lacked salt. My family and I were happy with our dining experience and service.

This place is pretty good. The food itself is very flavorful and rich. The tikka masala was creamy and delicious. The Kadahi ginger chicken tasted very similar to the tikka masala. The chicken vindaloo was also awesome. The samosas were decent a little bland. The bread was very good as well. Prices were alright. Not outrageous a little on the higher side. The portions were decent on the larger side. I managed to eat all my food but definitely could have gotten a box. Service was good and quick. Food came out quickly. Servers were all prompt and polite. Overall very good experience.

Tried Amul India for the first time. My chicken korma was not as good as I've had at other restaurants. It was still tasty, but I'm usually licking the spoon when I order this dish. I generally order a 7 out of 10 on spiciness. At Amul it was a 6 point scale so I went with a 4. It was notably less spicy than I'm used to. While the price ($14.99) was a bit cheaper than other similar restaurants ($16.99-17.99), the portion of rice was dramatically smaller. I usually get two full meals out of this dish. For Amul I will need to make my own rice at home to pair with the second half of my korma. I also ordered garlic naan and it was covered in solid garlic. Not garlic butter, powder, or salt, but lots of diced garlic. I love garlic, but it was a bit much for me to eat it straight. I was pleased that my meal was ready when I arrived and that it remained hot well after I arrived home, but the flavor and quality of my food left something to be desired. I doubt I will try this restaurant again when I can pay a few dollars more and be ecstatic over my meal.

The food was yummy! We went for buffet. Normally my kids cant even nimble at Indian restaurants and it sucks since we enjoy. Kids ate some here ! And the bill was presented only for adults. I said them that they can charge for one of the kid if they want to and they denied saying how much a kid might have eaten. It was true they did not eat much but that was a great gesture!!

The food here is amazing. The best Indian restaurant I have tried. We got the Chicken Platter and when they brought it out I asked what everything was and the waiter was very helpful. The tikka masala and biryani were great. If you haven’t tried Indian spice I suggest level 3 as it was spicy but not too much. We will definitely be back.

Food was delicious, service was great. Our group tried 5 dishes, three breads and some apps and the vegetarian dishes were our favorite: saag paneer, chickpeas and eggplant. I can’t wait to take my family asap

I ordered the chicken tandoori through a meal delivery service. The chicken (thigh, I guess?) tasted good and the marinate was very fresh and flavorful. However I am unhappy at the quality of the pieces of chicken I was given. There was almost no meat on them -- just cartilage and bones. It feels really bad to have paid $15+ dollars for mostly peppers and onions. The pieces of meat I had were good though. My wife liked her chickpea curry. Samosa was fine but a bit oily. Overall just really expensive.

Columbus has a rich offering when it comes to Indian food. However, some obviously take the curry more than others. This is one of the best in Columbus. The dining room is dark with a black painted ceiling making for an interesting dining experience. My food here is always excellent.

My wife and I tried this place for her birthday and we have been coming back at least twice a month for their great food and friendly service. The place is very clean, the hours are great and the food is amazing. We've had it for take out a few times as well, and the order is always perfect with plenty of sauces to enjoy the food to the fullest extent.

Our family enjoyed the dine in experience at the restaurant. The server was kind, timely, and provided an understanding of menu offerings. The three dishes we ordered were excellent taste value, spice level, and portions. We will definitely return and would highly recommend for Indian Cuisine.

This restaurant has NO IDEA what it means by an Indian curry. I mean how can you mess up a Simple Rogan Josh that bad!! Simple suggestion “Don’t order” from this if you want Indian food, it’s pathetic!!

This is my go-to dinner on the weekends. Great selection and the aloo nan is a must! The Tikka Masala is the best.

Holy Smokes, save your money. Our meal has to have been the most bland tasting Indian food that I have ever eaten. Not only was the lamb so overcooked that it was positively dried out, but the sauce it was in was pretty close to tasteless. My wife swore that the chicken Tikka Masala tasted of campbell's tomato soup. Yuk. No complexity of flavors here folks. Never again!

Absolutely delicious food, best place for North Indian food in Columbus. We catered from them for a party. Everything from appetizers to main course as well as dessert was wonderful. Our guests and we liked the food so much. The owner called the same evening to ask for feedback, which was really nice too. Highly recommended!!

Had a bad experience with a horribly condescending older man who runs the take-out section. They also have a tiny, smelly, dirty fish tank with a bunch of miserable goldfish by the front door. I’d avoid this place like the plague. There are much better options in the area. Edit: You were on the phone when I walked up and snatched the order I needed out of my hands and as I was leaving told me to never come back. You deserved the finger you got. You are the only restaurant I’ve had an issue with in my 2 years of food delivery. Your customer service sucks.
