Always loved the ayam penyet here especially the ayam penyet sambal hijau! The other penyet was also really good. The satay here is also delicious. Place is huge and clean with many tables for huge families. The staff were friendly and service was quick.

The place is classy, the decor is Indonesian style and have quality utensils. We ate here a couple of times because they're the one and only restaurant immediately in the jerudong park playground. The others is a one and only fastfood burger restaurant & drive thru. And the rest are food court that opens mostly night time as visitors visit the adjacent jerudong park playground in tge night when it's less hot. We ordered 2 papaya fresh fruit juice and 1 orange juice which we requested to be zero sugar and they delivered, however, it's lacking coolness and I'm disappointed because were expecting to cool ourselves with the fruit juice from the hot weather. As we just ate from another restaurant, we do like food hopping, so we ordered less so for food we ordered 1 plate of chicken with green chili, it's a plate of white rice with Indonesian style seasoning fried chicken , vegetable sour soup with cabbage, peanut and corn. For seafood, we ordered a "lala" white clam, it looks like Manila clam ? I asked special request to cook it in ginger soup broth to ensure it's cooked well, but we requested specifically not to put "tofu" as the server told us it will have tofu but the soup came in with big quarter cubes of tofu, it's just taste preference for my son, so we just let him pick it out. The Manager likes to take care of specific guest and tend to ignore others so it gives other patrons a slight offence. A smile gesture at the rest of the guest should take of it. Cleanliness needs to be consistent as place looks clean but a scent of a bit musty odour is lurking around. Over-all if one wants a proper meal in a seat in restaurant, they're the only choice.

layover in brunei for one night. if it weren’t for the fact that i’d been eating for many days in a row, not hungry at all, otherwise, I can definitely eat three bowls of rice. every dish was delicious, and the servers were very friendly. especially love the laksa soup, shrimp with chinese vermicelli, fried squid.

A good option in Brunei if you want to try some Indonesian styled Malay / local food. It has extensive seafood options as well. The chicken satay was really delicious along with the tofu and local vegetable dishes. Beef rengdang was the highlight! The crab had a good sauce and flavour but the meat had a weird texture and very flaky.

Been here several times. Good food and fresh service. Seafoods are fresh and dishes are well cooked to our Bruneian’s palate. The cendol is also recommended. Overall, a good place with great foods.

A victim of its own success i guess. It gets so busy the staff can hardly cope with the orders from all the tables during peak hours. Food quality is generally very good including the fresh seafood. But service can be very slow so best to advance order. Mistakes do happen and will take a long time to rectify. They have big tables and VIP rooms which give it an advantage over many places for big gatherings. Parking is a hassle esp during peak times. 4/5 if only for the food.

One of the most popular seafood restaurant in town ..Love their Indonesian curry crab fragrant gravy so thick ,very flavorful must order a plate of fried mantou dipped into the sauce . They also also good in steaming fresh fish. Signature steam tofu is a must.

The food is good as what is expected. But a lack of communication can cost your food to be late(need to tell them that you're on your way so they can start cooking 'em early and can place the food once you have arrived without you have to wait for it again)

Pre-ordered food in advance durinf Iftar only for it to arrive 45 mins after Iftar. Imagine fasting for 13 hours only to starve another 45mins after breaking the fast. The food is delicious but the service is horrible. Those who wish to dine here for Iftar, there is a risk your food will arrive late.

Delicious seafoods and friendly staff. And the 'Kuey Tiaw Basah' and 'Mee goreng Basah' nyummy. The portion also satisfied us. Fresh coconut also have here.

had lunch today at this resto... terrible experience... food came very late, like 45 minutes... the family who arrived after me and sit next to my table, got their food before me huhuhu... when the food finally arrived, the staff didnt provide any cutleries, fork and spoon etc... waited for the staff again, but never came.. so i took cutleries by myself... food for my son never arrive.. when i called the staff, he said the food not available today (why didnt he tell earlier?)... drink for my wife never arrive as well.. and the quality of the food, hmmm.... the prawn was like, a baby prawn (size of my index finger is much much bigger)... veggie in my noodle was actually cabbage.... probably they still trying to recover loss from covid... i gave one star, because google wont allow a no star... i used to like this place... so, now it is goodbye to this resto... 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼

NASI AYAM GORENG PENYET Our famous signature fried pressed chicken with rice 鶏肉はふっくらとしていてお米もとても美味しい。唐辛子のスパイシーソースはしっかり辛め。 Chicken Satay　Peanut sauce 普通に日本の屋台の焼き鳥で柔らかい。脂身のある食感が堪らない美味しさ。

Highly recommended seafood restaurant! Every single dish was done to perfection - the curry prawns were really excellent, and the live seabass was extremely fresh and tasty. We also really enjoyed all of the desserts. Nothing to complain about in terms of price, service and especially food.

Pondok Seri Wangi offers a cozy environment for an enjoyable dinner. The food is good, though I'm not sure about the prices.

Good food, friendly staff. Just be aware that the toilet dividers and doors are translucent. It can be quite uncomfortable as it lacks privacy. Hope the management can redesign the toilet to be more private.

I’ve made order at 7.05pm and my fried rice still hasnt cooked.. been waiting almost an hr!! All my other dishes turn cold! Very slow service and will not come here again! I’ve call the waiters twice but nobody care to follow up! Very bad!!

I ordered salted chicken rice and it was salty and dry. Unfortunately, is not what I expected. Really need to improve.

During dinner rush hour, nobody attend to tell if theres seat or not? We waited for ten minutes to be seated. When seated the call service table doesnt work. We have to keep trying to get attention for somebody to tell were ready to order this goes for 15 mins. The waiter who came was not approachable and not service oriented. Meals came in 30 mins, yet my ordered was wrongly delivered. Requested for terong balado but telor balado arrived instead. Theres no consistency, i realised my tables have two table number and no meal checklist. When we want to pay, they asked which table and i mentioned the two table number. The cashier told me i should mention one table number and i should know. This is absurd and rude as if it was my fault for mentioning actual two table number that was placed on my table. Not recommending to come here if that service was being offered.

I didnt get my food even after waiting for almost an hour. It was not busy when we were there.
