The Memu Lawach was delicious! (The chef says it's his best, you won't regret it) The Memu Jahnun was not bad as well.

Great place for quick street food , if you never tried it before that’s a great clean place to star! Friendly staff and everything is fresh . Eating there for years, they gave the place a new look and new menu - now it’s even better!

This place is amazingly good 🥰 The food is original and gives a fresh twist to the traditional israelian wraps, featuring the malawach bread and vegetarian fillings that are delicious (shakshuka lover, anyone?). Also, the guy who served me was super nice. Will be back!

One of the best places for a quick bite to eat in beautiful Modern Jerusalem! The Shakshuka Lawach (wrap) was delicious! The place is small with an open kitchen concept and the workers are great. Can’t go wrong with this place!

The Jachnun bar is cheap and delicious. The kosher/Teuda is a little controversial and is under the supervision of rabbinic authority of. Tzohar צוהר organization. The food was fresh (though by nature the food is quite a heavy fare) , service was quick. The only thing that marred the experience was the loud music from the bar across the alleyway. All in all if you eat Tzohar I would recommend.

יצא לי לאכול מדי פעם, והחוויה - בואו נגיד שתלוי מי נותן שירות. הבעלים אחלה גבר עושה אווירה ומכין מהלב . לעומת זאת יש שני עובדים שכל פעם שהם מכינים שורפים את המלוואח ובכלל הגישה שלהם לא נעימה הם מאוד גסי רוח ועסוקים במה שקורה מסביב ולא בעבודה. הרגע הייתי שם והפעם הערתי לעובד ששוב שרף את המלוואח ברמה שכבר היה ריח, בקשתי ממנו לעשות לי חדש. הוא התווכח איתי שזה לא שרוף ולא רצה להכין לי חדש אז אמרתי לו תודה אני אוותר. כשבאתי ללכת הוא זרק הערה שאני לא אלמד אותו איך להכין מלוואח. פשוט בושה! חבל על הזמן ועל הכסף. אני ירושלמית ותאמינו לי לא חסר מקומות יותר איכותיים ומזמינים.

Specialized in some Israeli pizza! All the ingredients are vegetarian and I have never imagine it could taste so good! They don’t have those pizza sauce but their own pita-sauce kind of thing here. They cook the bread instead of bake it, and then add all the ingredients on top of it just like pizza. The taste is very unique and the portion is large. It’s fun watching them cook too!

Their malawach is my favorite food in the world. Get it with everything and make it spicy. You’ll thank me later. I eat there every time I go to the Shuk.

A must in Jerusalem. While it’s called Jachnun Bar, it’s the malawach that catches your attention. The extremely enthusiastic chef flips them 10 feet high in the air and cooks up an amazing bite to eat. They also have a shakshuka-malawach that’s insanely tasty. Recommend to just get it with everything in it— they know what they’re doing here.

Best shakshuka I had in Israel so far! The malawach wrap was exquisite. Honestly the spices were perfect and nothing was amiss. Great prices too.

Nice tasting food but beware of being overcharged. Went for 2 sandwiches one day and were charged 40 shekels went next day for exact same sandwiches and charged 68 shekels. Not sure if it’s just a tourist rip off but be vigilant on what you are charged.

Best Malawach I’ve ever had! As someone who grew up eating Malawach with a little bit of tomato and egg on the side, I had no idea it could actually taste this good. The wrap is amazing!!! Adding labaneh and the green tahini adds so much flavour. Just such a delicious, filling meal for a reasonable price. Be aware that there aren’t many seats, so be prepared to have to take your meal to go. Lastly, the owner is such a character! He dances along to the music (loud techno, might me a bit too much for some people) and flips the Malawach high into the air, turns the meal into an experience! All in all one of the best food spots in Machane Yehuda!

My absolute favorite meal in the Shuk. I look forward the kind staff, amazing music, and the best flavorful Malawach wrap. I was so happy to also be surprised they were open a bit earlier today and was the best way to start my day and in the evenings, the best way to end the day🌟

The best thing about Jahnun is probably the lafa bread which I did not partake of because I am gluten free. The Greek salad is not bad. The worst thing about it though is the Extremely Loud inappropriate, pornographic music.

A must-go in Jerusalem, amazing cheap and typical food in the heart of Jerusalem, fun and flamboyant staff that cook like flair bartenders. The place is small and intimate, the service very quick which is very difficult to find in this area of the world.

This is a must stop if you’re visiting the market. These cool guys prepare in front you some sort of vegetarian pizza with a lot of flavor.

Super awesome wraps! Vegan options available and all vegetarian. We got everything on it and are planning our next visit to the little shop already. The two guys working we hilarious, interacting with patrons even though it was packed! Their hours aren’t 100% on Google so make sure to check. We went Saturday night and they didn’t open until 9 unlike what Google said - 7 so probably call before going. It got really busy really quick so try and be there around opening to minimize the wait! Regardless though, it’s worth the wait! Reasonable price for amazing food…YES PLEASE!

Had the shakshuka malawach and it was honestly one of the best things I've ever had in my entire life. Tomatoes, fresh crispy flatbread, hummus, green tahini, egg, all blended deliciously in my mouth. The owner is a wizard and provides a show of flipping the malawach on skillets, I'm still thinking about how good it tasted.

A small place at Mahane Yehuda market. The price is reasonable and the food is good. I recommend the Jahnun, but the malawah is also great. Just one problem is that there is very little place to sit.
