👍 Tasted the focaccia with was very light and tasty. Maybe a bit small for the price. Also had a coffee and the bread pudding which was really tasty with the cream and the coulis of fruits Our guests had a broccoli soup and a Salad. They both looked very good and they enjoyed those dishes very much.... People often mention good, service, restaurant, menu, dishes, Pompidou, great, salad, music, tasty,

Tasted the focaccia with was very light and tasty. Maybe a bit small for the price. Also had a coffee and the bread pudding which was really tasty with the cream and the coulis of fruits Our guests had a broccoli soup and a Salad. They both looked very good and they enjoyed those dishes very much. In fact all the dishes around us looked very pretty if not tasty which I still want to check. The service was also fine and the place looks clean Meantime a 4 star until I I have a chance to check the food again for hopefully a five star. In any case a good option for a dairy restaurant in Jerusalem.

Cheesy, kosher, and classy. Quality pasta and sauces. A romantic place to sit

Nice restaurant. Pesach menu was simple and over priced. No substitutions of any kind were allowed. Supposedly for kashrut reasons. We were seated at 5 pm and told that we had to be out by 7 as they had a reservation. Then no one came to give us menus until a member of our party got up and retrieved them herself. We were seated on the couch in the above photo. Most awkward and uncomfortable.

When I arrived last night at Pompidou the restaurant was full and there was a line of people waiting outside to be seated. It’s popularity alone is proof enough that it is a restaurant worth eating at. Pompidou is an Italian dairy restaurant serving pasta, pizza, salad, fish, cocktails, desserts and more. The menu is not overwhelming and the portions served are satisfying. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I really like their outdoor seating because it is set back and not on street level. So you get to enjoy the outdoors, people watch and not fear that you may get run over by a bus while eating your meal. A very important aspect in an enjoyable and relaxing dining experience 😆 The restaurant is clean and well kept though by the end of the evening around 12am the bathroom could have used more attention to ensure patrons had toilet paper to use. The staff is friendly and attentive. The only problem I encountered was that they were so busy they didn’t bring us water until closer to the end of our meal. Water should be brought right from the start when the waiter comes to give you the menus. We started our meal with cocktails and they had the perfect balance of ingredients making them a perfect drink. I don’t normally eat pasta so I really enjoyed having a Saturday night carb fest. We ordered truffle and chestnut gnocchi, fettuccine with pesto, sweet potato ravioli, and mushroom polenta. All four dishes were delightful, a bit heavy, but I guess that’s what happens when you order such creamy dishes. Next time I go I’ll have to order a salad and fish to balance out all that heavy cream I ate. It was overall a very nice dining experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. As a repeat customer you’d be correct to assume Pompidou is a great place I’d recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner. visited the restaurant previously and the food was unparalleled, the service was excellent and the atmosphere in general was wonderful, but I went back again and found that the food had decreased and the price had increased which surprised me

Had to come for the last breakfast of our trip for the special mushroom omelette! Sometimes the music is too loud at night. During the day the music is mellow and good. There is an area, somewhat enclosed for smokers (very French). There is another somewhat enclosed area and lots of seating inside. We have eaten here for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cool place great food. I split a Pizza Alla Pesto and the Pappardelle Salmon with my dinner partner, both dishes were presented beautifully and tasted amazing.

Loud and annoying techno music was played at 19:00 onwards and wasn't turned down enough even though we asked again and again. Starters were good (we ordered Capreza salad and eggplant with Techina. The sliced whole wheat bread was also fresh and delicious ). However, the main dishes we ordered were very disappointing (the small spaghetti with tomatoe sauce dish was not made of fresh tomatoes but canned tomato paste , the fettucini with mushrooms was overcooked (not al dente) and sauce was too oily and finally, the salmon salad was very salty and the salmon was dry ). The service was good but all in all, I will not be coming back.

The service was attentive and the food good and different from the standard Italian fare. Portions were generous. Desert was great. I highly recommend it. We went there on Friday morning and the place was packed. You should reserve a place.

This was my first visit, and I plan to go back to explore the menu. Everything was simply high quality dishes. The waitresses were very patient with us, as we requested to be moved twice. The ambiance is comfortable, pleasant, and romantic. I returned the next day for a juice, pizza margarita, and a white wine. This wine rolled a thin cold wave of Chardonnay, with leaves a lasting taste in your palate.

Pleasant Israeli style coffee shop with a more imaginative menu than usual.( Excellent eggs Benedict...if that's you dish of choice). Comfortable seating....friendly helpful, well informed staff Prices... middle of the road. A new innovation....not an improvement. No menus!!! You must use your smartphone to scan a QR code and the menu appears on your phone. People who don't have a smartphone...eat somewhere else

This place is a lot of fun for all ages. We had a variety of food with our family. Everyone enjoyed their entree. It wasn't cheap but the food was all tasty and fresh. The bathrooms were clean too.

Yummy food. The ceaser salad is fun. Really recommend getting the camambert croissant. So delicous. Service can be slow depending when you go.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pompidou Bistro and Bar in Jerusalem, and while the food was decent, it was the European atmosphere that really stole the show. The restaurant's elegant decor and charming ambiance transport diners to a cozy bistro in Paris or Rome. As for the food, while it wasn't mind-blowing, it was still enjoyable. The menu features classic European dishes like salads, and pasta, as well as Israeli-influenced options. I opted for the mushroom risotto, which was cooked to perfection and had a lovely depth of flavor. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent wine recommendations. One thing that really stood out to me was the bar at Pompidou. They offer a wide selection of cocktails, including some unique creations that you won't find elsewhere in the city. The bartenders were friendly and skilled, and the atmosphere at the bar was lively and fun. Overall, while the food at Pompidou Bistro and Bar may not be the main draw, it's still a solid option for a satisfying meal. The European atmosphere and excellent bar offerings make it a great spot for a date or a night out with friends

So we read, that this area is particularly good for having dinner. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this place. The Waiter was very unfriendly and slow. We ordered a bottle of wine. The waiter had no clue about wine and how to serve it. The menu is very simple and has no specials whatsoever. The food was ok in the end. To summarize, if you’re not in need to find something very quickly, try somewhere else!

I have to admit it is not one of my favorite restaurants in Jerusalem, but I was able to get a last minute reservation for 6 for dinner over Passover. The food was eatable but not remarkable. The service was polite but not too professional. For the life of me though I can not understand something that some of these restaurants do. They were playing a loud noise that I suppose some may call music. It was nothing more than a steady loud banging bass noise. I left with a pounding headache. I mentioned to the manager that I don’t believe that anywhere near a majority of the diners could possibly have enjoyed the “music”. His response was that the speakers were broken and there was nothing he could do about it. I said he could turn it off. To which he mumbled some response that was clearly not to be taken seriously.

This restaurant is spectacular!! We had three nights in Jerusalem and ate here 2 out of 3 nights. The Shakshuka is amazing. It’s best to make a reservation.

Nice ambience, but loud acoustics. The burratta was more solid than I am used to. Sweet potato ravioli was tasty.

The menu is original for a dairy restaurent. Pavlova was so sweet that we didn't finished. Expensive compared to better restaurants. We couldn't hear one the other because of the music, we ran away aqap.

Usually an enjoyable place to eat. But was completely put off from going again because of my last experience. I ordered the fish carpaccio which I've had there before and always loved! But this time there was a very strong fishy taste. Fish is not supposed to be like this. It's a sign that it's old or was left out. It was so strong that I couldn't eat it at all. It was also very expensive, so I decided to send it back. The waiter essentially had an argument with me saying that their fish was perfect and it's not their fault that I didn't like it. He was so rude, and I'm scared to go back because I've never been treated like that before anywhere.

Service was very good. The place is nice and well designed. We took Pompidou breakfast, that was not good enough. The salad was dull and the dips were not appealing. Luckily there was a very good cherry tomato jam.

Elegant restaurant anytime! Food is created with love and talent, professional friendly service. Very tasty pizza and if you like it get it with anchovies, up there with best pizzas. Salads are fresh and huge. Lovely patio terrace and great view onto German Colony life, a neighborhood gem!

The ambience was formal and trendy. The food was very delicious. We got the Pompidou salad and bruschetta. Half of the menu items seemed very expensive, but we did find good options. The service was pretty good (maybe a little slow)
