👍👍 Wonderful place! Absolutely would recommend. I have been to many fish restaurants but all they do is season with salt pepper and butter, however here is where you really go to for the taste. I have tried their mixed greens pasta, absolutely bomb .. never tasted anything like it before. I also tried... Wonderful place! Absolutely would recommend. I have been to many fish restaurants but all they do is season with salt pepper and butter, however here is where you really go to for the taste. I have tried their mixed greens pasta, absolutely bomb .. never tasted anything like it before. I also tried their Salmon teriyaki and Fish Shawarma with hummus, literally speechless. The food service is quick, the servers were very polite and the place is very artsy. Def coming back again in the future.

Really nice restaurant We ordered the salmon sashimi. And the fish and chips. I enjoyed both very much The salmon sashimi was delicious but u need to either like sashimi (raw fish) Or be willing to try something new. And the fish and chips were really good, crispy just the way i like it. The service was good Its in a great location and sitting outside was soo nice. If u want a good table make sure to make a reservation before. (Especially at dinner time) I would definitely recommend this place. The reason i gave 4 and bot 5 stars is because i like seeing on the menu what the dish looks like. And their menus did not show.

The worst restaurant in Jerusalem, we waited 30 min to make an order.. the waiters are horrible.. the food was a gas station restaurant food. The price is Waldorf Astoria NY .. my recommendation is, stay away !

This is really one of the best located places to go. It is an outdoor rooftop over the open Mamila mall, the food, the service and the atmosphere were perfect. There is even a sit down area until you can enjoy while waiting for your table. The food didnt take long to arrive, it was tasty and fresh. And the prices are not expensive considering the location and what you get.

Ate here and was very satisfied. The staff was very friendly. The service was good and the food was great. I'm the kind of person who likes to try different places so when I travel I look forward to the local eateries. This place was very pleasant and I love good bread. I could have eaten this bread all day. The fish shawarma was delicious I wanted to go back but I had to try other places. If I come back to Jerusalem I will go back to Happy Fish.

One of the best dinners we had during our two weeks in Israel. Just delicious. Love the offerings with bread. The catch of the day was excellent and the salmon sushi was yummy.

My wife & I ate here for dinner in early Aug. Staff, food, and service, are very good. Especially Hillel, whose recommendations and explanations were very helpful. Tzipora, also did a great job. Would definitely come back.

We booked this restaurant from Australia for Bar Mitzvah lunch 1 months in advance. We tryed to book it earlier but couldn't do it due to their policy. I was afraid to leave it to the last minute and back myself up with another restaurant. I have to tell you it was worth waiting. Beautiful decor, lovely enviroment, fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion: formal or casual. Keep it up Happy Fish.

Delicious fresh fish dishes ( and on a Sunday night which is taking a chance). Also nice pasta, not over cooked. Lovely service. Polite and efficient. Totally enjoyed dinner.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food, both taste and presentation. And reasonably priced. The staff were also very friendly and polite. We had a lovely evening and will definitely go again.

Awesome place tucked away in Mamilla mall. It’s very quiet at times and it’s a awesome place to kick it back with some fresh delicious 🐠 and a good drink.

Staff were very friendly, good view and food mostly good but they brought the entrees and mains all out at the same time which spoilt things.

We unfortunately went on a Tuesday evening when apparently they have a live singer playing a bouzouki & singing, obviously, Greek music. I don't love it, but I wouldn't have minded so much if it weren't so freaking loud that you could hear it all the way in the Mamilla apartments across the street.... I love music, but when you want fine dining, it means being able to hear conversation at your own table! Secondly, we waited a good 10 to 15 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Food : not enough salad options in my opinion, at all. Food is good- though of the numerous mezes put out with the main I ordered, very few were truly good and not enough were worthy of being accompanied by the good frena bread... My main dish was very good (grilled fish) but was presented /plated looking very lonely on a bare plate with only 2 mini grilled peppers. Service was very attentive & pleasant. Desserts were delicious & generous. Overpriced, but since it's a hotel restaurant (Mamilla Hotel) I suppose they feel justified. I don't feel the same! Overall : ⭐⭐⭐

The food was excellent and the service was great! We sat on the bridge and enjoyed sitting above Mamila street. We ordered the mushroom linguine and the fish and chips. The mushroom linguine tasted fantastic. It was full of flavor. The fish and chips was probably the best we've ever had. The coating was super thick and crispy. Very filling. Highly recommend.

What a great evening at Happy Fish with Shay as our water. Shay has gone out of his way to make the evening a great success. Thank you very much.

Beautiful ambience and decor, food was excellent, service was very poor: waited 20 minutes for server to take our order, neglected to bring water to the table, then waited half hour to receive water when reminded. Could have been a bad night, host mentioned that 2 staff didn't show up, and comped us with complementary dessert when told about poor service.

Beautiful location. Food was good. Ate on Passover, they had great and tasty variety of food. Fish Musaka was amazing. We didn't like a dish and got reimbursed. They had a problem with taking out a dish on time and they did above and beyond to make us happy.

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, cocktails came late although the margaritas were tasty, we were charged 172 shekel about $25 each and I believe that is unheard of. I recommend especially on the terrace although I would pass on the expensive drinks.

We reserved for 4 adults to eat at Happy Fish the evening before Pesach ( Passover) so the restaurant was already Kosher for Pesach. We chose the restaurant because we all wanted fish and we could walk to it. We ate inside because it was a cool evening but there is a lovely large outdoor area overlooking the Mamilla Mall. The restaurant is very clean, tastefully decorated, upscale casual, room for large groups. We ate in a side room with a lot of sound reverberation so normal conversation produced a lot of noise. The menu was fairly limited and expensive. One fish dish Branzino was not availabke that night. The waitress put 2 rolls on the table for 4 people. These are pesachdich rolls, usually made with potato flour. Perhaps they had a limited quantity but we had to request 2 more rolls. The few dips served with the rolls again were very sparse in qantity and not tasty which is very unusual for a restaurant in Israel. We ordered a grilled Bass, oven baked sea bream and grilled salmon. Sides with the entree were french fries, sweet potato or green salad vinaigrette. The salmon was undercooked. The other orders of fish were good size, fresh but not inspiring in taste. Service was fair, the waitress seemed inexperienced and rushed even though we reserved early(6:45pm) as the room filled up quickly. We all agreed the company was worth getting together but the meal mediocre for the price. Perhaps it was a hard day for the restaurant having just changed over to being "Kosher for Pesach" to give them the benefit of the doubt, but we have had much better fish dishes in other restaurants in Israel that are not " specifically" fish restaurants. Summary: Needs improvement, poor value for money, but very nice setting. Might have been an off day because of Passover holiday starting the next day.

The fish was very tasty, but I wish there were vegetables besides salad (chips - French fries - does not count as a vegetable). The service was pleasant, even though I had to chase after them to get salad without the dressing and get it plain and bring me olive oil to put on. The outdoor seating area is very spacious, with table spaced apart, which made me feel very comfortable during this pandemic. They had heaters outside, which helped somewhat, but if you are going when it is chilly, dress warm.

Great food well prepared to order. We had a lovely celebration evening. Service was swift, everything was so tasty. The server, Nofar, was careful with special requests due to allergies. Such a delight to be outside and having fun together - covid restrictions are observed! Happy Fish is a reliable good time!

Came in was seated immediately. We ordered fish and chips. Came with 2 really good breads and 6 salads/dips. Really nice size portions. For a family of 4 more than enough food.

I have eaten many times here and the food is always tasty and great quality. Menu is small so usually indication to great chef and ingredients fresh. I called for reservation and the service is top. The waiters are always nice and know the little things that make the restaurant a higher class. Besides the fish i recommend the sicilian pasta. Just delicious. Also the lemon pie is awesome. The interior decor is nice and outside area is also very thoughtfully designed. I recommend the bridge so you can see all the people below walking on mamilla road. Fun to watch. Although in the winter its less comfortable because of low temperatures. Also it is connected to mamilla hotel so one can enter from hotel straight into restaurant or from mamilla road.

An excelent place to eat fish or veggie food in Mamilla. It is located on an upper floor so you can sit in an awesome terrace or they have tables inside the building. The decoration is beautiful! The food portions are very generous and delicious and the staff is very friendly. The pita bread is a must!!! They have a Kosher certificate. I recommend you to have the Fish Shawarma with hummus. It's amazing!!
