All dishes were amazing! We ordered several starters: the focaccia with sun dried tomatoes dip, pesto and plenty of olive oil (and garlic), the risotto balls in tomato sauce and the salad with blue cheese, walnuts, arugula, apple... The main dishes were also delicious. Everybody ordered another pasta dish (I forgot the names, but the caramelised onions were amazing🫣). The staff was very friendly and helpful 😁Dining here was lovely!

We had dinner at Al Dente, and it wasn't bad, but I don't think we are going back. It's a very small and cozy place, so it's best to make a reservation. Their menu looked pretty good. We ordered for two people a starter (arancini: good but nothing special) and 2 pasta dishes (chestnut ravioli: not good at all, and tagliatelle Verde: good but very heavy). We paid 215nis. Prices are ok, but food promised to be better, we were a little disappointed...

It’s great to see that such an establishment exists that long. I remembered the restaurant from many years ago from several excellent dinners. I came again hoping to recreate the experience. Two nights in a row after getting disappointed the first night. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre and the food less than mediocre. The ravioli too firm in the edges and the tiramisu almost frozen in the middle. The place is packed even in the middle of the week (I’m glad for the owners, but it also means not a lot of room) and I see most reviews here are 5-stars. Maybe it just wasn’t their week.

I'm always curious about small, out of the way places. This was a dairy Italian restaurant that you won't find wandering the more traveled streets of Jerusalem. Charming, quiet, yet pre-dinner busy. I had the casrecce with artichoke, olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes. The staff was attentive, which for me is one of the 'tells' of a quality restaurant. The pricing was on the high side for the portion size, hence the rating. One great advantage is its location next to one of the cheapest places to park in town.

Excellent Italian food in a cozy atmosphere. Many vegetarian and fish entrees at this delightful little restaurant. A good small dessert menu as well. Charming atmosphere and attentive service.

Very good Italian restaurant with varieties of good pastas and fishes. Good appetizers as well. We took 2 different pastas and both of them were very tasty. We had Tiramisu for dessert and was also well done. Service is good and staff friendly. Order a table in advance since the place is not very big.

Cozy restaurant, nice waiters. We had the Sea fish bruschetta for starter, which was amazing, and shared the "Mushroom & Truffle Tortellini" with "Red tuna" pizza. The prices are on the expansive side (relative to other restaurants in Jerusalem), but we got a free antipasti salad. Overall, great restaurant, worth paying a visit.

Best dairy restaurant in Jerusalem. Really haimish. I'm reluctant to write this because sometimes it's hard to get a reservation ha-ha, but it is really a nice place to dine. The warm chocolate souffle-like cake with ice cream is a awesome dessert after you've enjoyed any of the entrees, pizza and/or salads.

Before Corona, we used to eat here pretty often and always liked it. We were relieved to see that the high quality remains the same. Tasty Italian dairy food, friendly waitresses. It's very small, so make sure you have a reservation.

We had an amazing experience, ambiance was really nice, friendly service and food was simple, rustic, fresh and most importantly it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Al Dente as a dining destination for anyone looking for really really good kosher dairy Italian food in Israel….period.

We over expected and got dissappointed. Some dishes were good (pizza artichokr, tortalini mushrooms). some mediocore- pasta eggplants- mainly tomato souce few eggplants, andive salad, ali olio, amarena cheesecake. Coming home few had stomachace. Service was gòod (delisted a dish that was not good).

A small intimate Italian food place in a not-so-crowded neighborhood. Food is decent but not amazing. Their "Parmegane" was the hightlight.

A very high quality Italian restaurant. Kosher dairy. 250 sheks for two adults and a child (including one glass of wine but no other alcohol). One of my favorites.

Yummy salad to start, tasty pizza, and perfectly cooked pasta.. Highlight were the deserts, full marks.... Great service in a busy small family style restaurant... Reasonably priced wines too!

A perfect dinner and amazing service! My family has many dietary restrictions, and our server Zoey was incredibly patient and helpful. Together with the chef, she made sure that every single dish was adjusted as we needed, and she even pointed out each dish and told us who can eat what. Our starters and mains were so delicious we didn’t have any room for dessert. Overall the experience was lovely, from the pleasant decor, the kind and friendly staff and the amazing food. Highly recommend
