Really good food and the staff was friendly. Just pay attention that the meat prices are per 100g and not for a full portion. It seems cheap but it’s not. The meat was super tasty, the shoulder is a great option and also the chorizo. The chicken balls are amazing

Pros: food tasted good. Service was polite. Cons: 1) who serves meat on a paper? Every bite of my food had bits of paper in it. (2) no bread for Motzi. (3) they were out of half the items on the menu. (4) temperature of food quite uneven. The brisket was tepid and very fatty. I would not recommend.

The restaurant is amazing!  Everything is really great. Delicious meet. We visited twice out of 4 times in Jerusalem. We will definitely visit again.

Paper dirty menu pitcher of water dirty cups most of the meat's thay didn't have Takes long for the food to come the waiters don't know how to describe the food for example I ordered an extra fries he didn't tell me that my dish that I ordered it really comes with one I asked for some bread or crackers they charged me 22 shackle for them That's way overpriced after I drop down there more than 1,200 ILS

Overall good experience, probably the best smokehouse in jerusalem, but here are some issues with my experience: - on lunch time they didn’t have any beers - the brisket was ok but dry - we got a good service but they can improve it by being more professional and showing that they care about the customer more. The rest of the food was delicious and well prepared. I would recommend trying the popcorn chicken, chorizo sausages, pulled beef, even the pulled lamb was very good. A bit overpriced.

Wow! When you crave BBQ - this is the place! If we had more time, we would have gone back. After three weeks of delicious Mediterranean cuisine, our taste buds were ready. Harvey's delivered! Thank you! Every item was delicious and plentiful! Burnt ends were my favorite. But can't go wrong with any that we ordered.

This place is probably built specifically for random Americans that like that BBQ atmosphere. Although what they tried doing is nice and the location is good the actual food was not… stay away from the chicken ( terrible) the meat was 6/10 and the overpriced, I tend to give neutral reviews and consider all factors but when I ended up paying $50 for some meat and chicken without side orders or a drink and then need to add a tip for meat that is ok I can only consider this place disappointing

The food was really good, I have always wanted to try smoked meat of different kinds but because of my religious beliefs I cannot find a good one in the USA when I travel there or UK. These guys serve kosher meat, as a Muslim I can enjoy that too. Amazing choice of beef, the burger was good too. Chicken wings are amazing. Lady that serves us was nice too, smiling always. Jerusalem has a special place in my heart. Defiantly coming back here and I recommend this place if you like beef and meats.

Harvey’s was a real treat to find, and so close to the old city. All four meats that we tried were delicious. The chopped salad that we got was also very good. And the service was excellent, they were happy to speak in either Hebrew or English. For you beer lovers, there are ample taps to choose from. The meat is of course kosher.

Ordered sweet chicken wings, nachos and smoked lamb spare ribs along with coleslaw and rice and beans. The chicken wings were devoured, along with the nachos. I would request they make the nachos have a little more meat on them. The lamb was delicious if not very fatty, as should be expected. Only reason it’s a 4/5 is the lack other some of the items on the menu and the price. Spent 600 shekels between two people. 😯

Nice place for carnivores like my daughter, she really enjoyed it there, so did we. Reasonably priced for the quality/quantity, big beers, great service, thank you guys:) The steak was excellent, the smoked mixed platter much less, either dry or boring:/ Outside sitting was a bit balagan, but we managed it through hahaha, smoking was aloud at tables. Overall lovely simple place for relaxed late dinner literally in the center of Jerusalem

Relatively quick and helpful/very kind staff! We did not have a reservation but we found a table in the outside area in the plaza. We have ordered the Argentinian ribeye and the fillet mignon both of which were tasty. Portion-wise, they were ok but somewhat expensive. We also had dessert, the chocolate soufflé which I definitely recommend.

One of the best steaks I've ate. Maybe a bit much pepper, but very good. Expensive, but worth it

  • 3/5 Gaby H. 2 years ago on Google
The meat is heavily spiced, very hard to consume w/o bread or large amount of salad. This type of meat is more suitable for fancy sandwich. Very expensive considering to what you get. We arrived at 5 pm, so maybe it was just the hour.

Eat lunch for 2. Food was very good, excellent Assado dish. Fair prices and friendly service.

Harvey's has been open for a few years now. New hyped up restaurants have a tendency to decrease the overall quality of their service and food over time. Harvey's is the opposite. The best and friendliest service in Jerusalem, tasty and exciting food that maintains quality and quantity.

Great meal and all staff were friendly. One thing I appreciated was the pricing by weight on some of the meats so I ordered 100g of one and 100 of another. With the sides it was more than enough. Tasty decadent meal.

This restaurant has more secular leaning Jews, so they won't look down on you. We had fantastic conversations and lots of fun. The food was a little costly, but oh boy did I eat well :) Costumer service was a 10! Food looked really yummy and presentable, howver not amazingly tasty for a 10, so 8 (over average)

Been there for dinner and weren't impressed. The brisket was fine, but not smokehouse quality you'd expect. The steak was OK. Nothing to come back to.

Was excited to try out the new location, but got really disappointed on how my steak was. Ordered Rib eye medium, got it rare!! Very dry & salty. More then Half of the steak was fat!! Really disappointed!!!!!!

Awesome smoked everything and then some! We were visiting from Jamaica and getting a little tired of the typical Middle Eastern flavors so we decided to try this spot. Everything was awesome. Top notch service. Our waitress was super and so were the chefs. You can tell they enjoy their work experience. Burnt ends were the best and the serving is definitely entree size. Shared with my friend and we could barely get through it along with our main meals. Chimichanga was also delicious and large. Smoked meats were good. Creme brûlée was great. Zero complaints. Wonderful all-round.

Great environment, the food is not bad, i ordered chicken leg, roasted beef, sausage and beef brisket. Everything is good except for the roasted beef, it was medium rare but still managed to be really chewy and i would even say hard. Not to mention it was cold like those salad meat. Wouldn't recommend that but everything else was within expectation.

I was recently at Harvey's smokehouse and wow was I blown away by the staff the service and especially the food. 1. The service and staff we're so friendly and attentive to our needs. They must have been professionally trained to be this good. 2. The food was OUTSTANDING. Was not expecting this from israeli meat. Portion size was nice and the BBQ taste was spot on. 3. The price we were shocked how reasonable it was. We were 2 couples and we left full with what we ate. (Mainly all meat NO VEGETABLES ALLOWED ) 4. Was great having harvey himself come by to the table to speak with us. I would highly highly recommend HARVEY'S SMOKEHOUSE on you next trip to eretz yisroel Yosef-mutterperl

You must eat here if you visit Israel. The food was awesome. The brisket was the most tender meat i've ever had.

Really! I’ve been in Israel for 5 years eaten at a lot of restaurants. This is hands down the best American style smoke house. A-Z, from the staff to the quality of food! The entirety of the experience was pleasant.

The place is great, everything was delicious, the service is very good, the prices suit the location. Will definitely come back!

Food was undeniable delicious! However, no one took our order for more than 20 minutes. On top of that, the waitress who served us let us know she was expecting a higher tip than what we offered, which was already high enough given our waiting times.

  • 3/5 Istvan P. 1 year ago on Google
The food was delicious. It felt like we had to wait a very long time to get our order taken when the place was not too busy. Still would have given 5 stars if I wouldn’t have been then told off for leaving a tip that the waitress found too low which given the initial wait I found more than fair.

Hervey's food and drink are excellent. Their meats courses are yummy and not stingy. The smoked beef cuts are definitely worth a stop, and the dipping sauces are paired with the dishes in a way that really opens up more nuance and horizon in the flavor of the main dish. I was surprised by how good their cold-served dishes were, and I enjoyed them a lot too. The selection of beers to order is varied and intelligent - serving both foreign and delightful local brews. I only have this second-hand, though (since my friends ordered the beer, while I ordered cocktails). Their cocktail are good too, although leaning more into the alcoholic than sweet (which isn't my preferred direction, but I know others do like it) but they were still worth it. My friends and I sat outside in the cooling heat of Jerusalem, and got to enjoy the food and the conversation. It's not the first time we've gone to eat at Harvey's and probably won't be the last. I recommend it to you too!
