It's nice hotel right next to Mount of Oil, also it is situated higher than the other buildings, therefore you have a magnificent view of the old town. Breakfast is on the top floor. We had a room with panoramatic view, not every room has it. Also we had every day our room cleaned. Be careful with hot water, it's really hot and goes faster than cold water. I really don't have the fotos of the room, though.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. It has an amazing view of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives. The rooms are quite plain, but there is hot water and and A/C and heater work well. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the view of Jerusalem from the dining room windows is beyond belief. At night, taxis from the Damascus Gate charge 30+ Shekels. It is a good idea to take the bus up the hill and it lets you off near the front of the hotel. Find out the bus schedule so you can time your trips into Jerusalem. It is about a 2 km walk to the Damascus Gate, so if you don't mind walking, you can do that. I look forward to my next visit to this hotel.

I only booked this hotel because it claimed to be a 15 min walk from Temple Mount. They obviously forgot to mention that it was a steep hill to get there and a steep hill to get back. Certainly no good for anybody who has trouble walking long distances. The rooms are terrible. Our room didn’t even have a fridge in it and the general condition of the fixtures and fittings is dire. The bathroom had bugs and flies and mould growing around the bath and it was in a poor state. The so called inclusive breakfast was hit and miss. It was served between 7am and 9am. If you got there later than 815am chances are you’ve missed the food especially the bread. It’s ridiculous. Never again…

Stayed for 3 nights and the staff were extremely helpful. My wife and I felt completely comfortable and safe in the area. It was an easy walk to the old city. The hotels prices were very reasonable and the breakfast was adequate. Only negative was the overall cleanliness, especially the hallway carpets.

“Excellent location with stunning view on Jerusalem and 20 min. walking distance to the old city” Excellent location, from the dining room on 6th floor stunning view on the old Jerusalem and the Dome of Rock (see photo), 20 minutes walking distance to the very heart of the old city, Mount of Olives or 10 minutes to Gethsemane garden, nearby shops open till late hours, typical local Arab coffee house nearby, atmosphere of Muslim quarter, possibility to park a car (otherwise very difficult or costly nearby the old city). The facilities in the hotel and in the room were very used, the cleanliness was acceptable but still on edge and didn't make us feel comfortable and easy. When we arrived the room was not ready. It was not possible to lock the window that went almost to the balcony accessible for all guests.

Excellent location. close to all tourist attractions in Jerusalem. You can walk from the hotel in just 15-20 minutes. Including to the Wailing Wall, Mount of Olives, and the cathedrals as well. Breakfast is wonderful. And it also has parking. The staff are very attentive.

Good hotel with Arabic kindness staff will help you at all costs. You get where you paid for. They were renovating the hotel, so next year the old rooms will have got there update, and best of all is the nice view at the old city from your room.

I booked this hotel with a free cancelation policy up to 2 days prior to my arrival. I had to cancel my trip 3 days before my arrival and they said... and I quote " Sorry we cant waive your cancellation fees due to high rooms requests on this period." If they have high demand, then they can resale the room at a even higher price to someone else. Not to mention the fact that I cancel in advance to the expiration of the free cancelation policy. This is their way to conduct business. Well, never again.

I give this an extra star because the views of Jerusalem really are pretty good...if you get the right room. I don't think the hotel owns a vacuum cleaner. The carpet in our room (not all rooms have carpet) was filthy, as were the hallways. Cleanliness is optional in the bathrooms, too. The walls are paper thin. The halls stank of sewer and cigarette, and the cigarette reak was in our room, too. Some in our group had so much dirt and sand in their shower that it didn't drain. Much to my surprise, the meals in the hotel restaurant were actually decent, if not anything special.

Cleanest place ever and excellent service when I was there. They're closed now but I will go back when they open.

I have to put a 2 star review mainly because of two things: location and cleanliness. The hotel is up hill on eastern Jerusalem, and at night your transport options are very limited, none after 10pm. It has an amazing view of the city though. The room has carpet and curtains that haven't been washed in ages. The bathroom was ok but smelled badly for some reason... The breakfast was ok. It is not the same to stay on western Jerusalem than to stay in eastern Jerusalem. The staff was nice.

Well, it's ok but price is a way more than quality. But this is the case at all hotels at Jerusalem. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great staff despite a language barrier. Fairly run down, especially by American standards. Offers a stunning view of the Wall and the Kidron Valley. Nice breakfast buffet offered. AC is hit and miss but evening breezes through an open window are great

I would recommend to get your own food rather than eat here.. breakfast is ok but dinner is.better elsewhere.

The most underrated hotel in Jerusalem. Incredible view, amazing staff and in a great neighborhood. The price is also incredible! Seriously, we were there for two weeks, and the staff treated us like close family. We love them!

I stayed for 4 days in December 2019. The room was clean but extremely old. The TV never worked and this is with asking over and over again. Just gave up on the TV and the phone. The food was good I enjoy eggs in the morning. Every morning the view of the old city of Jerusalem was just beautiful. All are staff is very nice. We love to walk so it was a good 1 1/2 miles walk . Enjoy

thank you to all the people who work in this hotel for their professionalism, their good humor, their kindness, they take great care of the customers, it feels like visiting a loved one. We feel at home at the slightest problem, they intervene, the breakfast is extremely generous, in terms of hygiene, every day, a person comes to clean the room, checking that everything necessary is done. My husband and I were lucky enough to have access to a room with a view of the mosque. In terms of transport access, it is extremely accessible, some small restaurants below the hotel are super good and the value for money is exceptional. I particularly wanted to thank Mohamed, a man with a big heart. Thank you all, it is with pleasure that I will return to stay in this hotel.
