Divine, beyond delicious, fresh, nice sized portions, good selection-something for everyone. Gracious hosting-Customers are important and this is reflected in every area of service. This is our one and only breakfast and lunch place after having tried other places.

Visiting Jerusalem, highly recommending this place for a good meal at a very good price! We were searching for a good restaurant as last restaurants we went too were not really good! So happy to have found this place. The serving can be good for too, very decent taste and service was superb! Thank you!

Ok. I admit, a little late in the game to finally try this place out, but MAN, was this worth it. Surprisingly so. I will definitely be bringing friends, local & other. Service - friendly & attentive Presentation - a feast for the eyes Flavors/Taste - obvious that attention was given to each dish Generosity - had I known how generous, we wouldn't have ordered 2 dishes. But then I wouldn't have found out how good their stuff is.. And in addition, super easily accessible, central & right near tram station. Bar & Aviya are the lovely owners who hail from Yavneh but decided to grace us with their presence. GO. I doubt you'll regret it.

We came in for first time and ordered fish & Chips and French Fries. The fries were shockingly commercial, straight out of a supermarket freezer and unheated. This fact was acknowledged by the manager, and is unacceptable for any self respecting cafe. The bathroom doors need new locks, as they barely open. High prices for mediocre food and presentation. Disappointing.

We stayed just around the corner from Café Lyon, and we’re so glad we did because we ended up eating there multiple times over our two-week stay! The food was fantastic, and I have to say—do yourself a favor and order the eggs Benedict. You’ll thank me later! The service is fast, the atmosphere welcoming, and everything is spotless. Café Lyon quickly became one of our favorite spots!

Cafe Lyon is a great café option located in the heart of Jerusalem, right next to Shuk Machane Yehuda on Jaffa Road. It is a French inspired café chain with several other locations in Israel. Whenever I’m out for breakfast I’m often not adventurous as I love ordering the Israeli breakfast. Cafe Lyon has a varied menu with different breakfast options, salads, sandwiches, pastas, fish and delicious looking pastries. If you’re looking to try a new café it’s definitely worth a visit.

One of the better coffee/restaurants around Jerusalem and definitely around the shok. Quality food and service… only thing is that the place is most of the time busy but apart of that the place is truly on point

I wandered over here from the market and was able to get a table outside immediately. It was really great. I ordered the breakfast for 1. I couldn’t even finish it but it was delicious and perfectly cooked. The olive tapenade was my favorite. Everything else was very good as well. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Beautiful presentation.
