They told us our seats should be ready in 1 hour after an hour they said we are sorry there are no place tonight, they would not even let a party of six to sit on a table of five even though one of them was a child. We asked for a manager and he was one of the most obnoxious managers I have ever met, not ever apologizing. 50 years I've never had such at experience.

Classy, charming cafe at the opening of the newly renovated gan saker park. Busy and a long wait to get a table- book in advance. Option to sit inside our outdoors with heating. Diverse and sumptuous menu with both decadent and healthy options. Specialty drinks and desserts looked amazing and service was incredible (maybe a little too good, we kinda felt like they were watching us eat..) I ordered the enchilada and my husband the Black Forest pasta. Best pasta dish I’ve ever eaten, I would drink the sauce plain. Dessert was the strawberry meringue ice cream, not too sweet and just YUM. Would definitely come again.

Eating out with two babies is… hard. So when a restaurant makes it easier, it’s noteworthy! They provided toys and crayons for the kids at the table and even a cute little cup. The staff was so patient and kind to the parents and sweet with the kids. We ordered a ton of the menu and the food was decent, it didn’t feel as typical as the other dishes in Jerusalem, but I did feel like the food could have used a touch of salt. Another huge plus of this cafe is the location. It’s located right in Sacher Park so after you eat the kids can go play! It’s a great park too!

OK so I brought my sister and daughter here because I was recently at an affair and the restaurant was amazing. Today, the opposite. No tables at three in the afternoon on a weekday. I asked for coffee in a glass cup and got a ceramic teacup. My sister was told there was only white bread, and the neighboring tables had whole wheat. The food was OK but not amazing. I had to take a cutlery setting from a table nearby. And since when do restaurants tell you while showing you your table, "you have until five fifteen"? (two hours). Nice venue, bad service, noisy, OK food. Bathrooms were roomy and nice...

I could not wait to give a review. The place is amazing. True we had to wait for a table but i could see why and it was worth it. Make a reservation to save the wait time. While we waited there was mint water to refresh ourselves. Prices were very reasonable. All the dishes looked amazing.

Nice place with inside and outside seats. diversity of dishes- most of them dairy based but they have Vegan options. not very recomended for small kids. Better to order reservation in advance (otherwise you'll wait 15- 30 minutes)

The food was delicious, especially the shakshukas and the focaccia. Service is great. The waitress made a small mistake and they compensated us without us asking for anything.

Cooking Non-meat Kosher gourmet food on Jewish Passover is a real challenge. Many Jerusalem eateries just close their business this week. But the <Gan Sipur>> staff made it! They prepared dishes of topmost quality for us. We ordered different dishes and they were all perfect and more. The service also was wonderful. To our surprise, we were given a free dessert, as compensation for a waitress's error, which we even did not notice. The place was full, there was not a single place free. We had to make an online reservation. Specialties: "Gan Sipur Café" means: "Garden, Story, Coffee". It is located in Sacher Park in the center of Jerusalem. Within, there are shelves with books, not just decoration. One may take a book to read while sipping a drink. The glassware is decorated with poetry. Highly recommended.

Very good experience though I recommend staying away from the poached egg. They serve it cold and it is somehow not connected to the rest of the dish. Very generous as they are when I commented on it they quickly came in with a warm poached egg to put on the dish. But still... Make a reservation because the place is packed.

Great location, competent and accommodating wait staff, delicious food (especially the cheese filled sweet potato gnocchi and the black forest pasta dish!). The salad we ordered wasn't the best and there isn't parking nearby but everything else was great. Will definitely be going back

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Jerusalem. Set in the beautiful park, it is a peaceful and fun dining experience despite it being busy most of the day. You can choose a table indoors or outdoors. The staff is super friendly, English and Hebrew speaking. They are actually interested in their customers, and give great advice. American style customer service. Food is original and amazing. Everything comes as gluten free alternative.

Delicious food with nice ambiance and atmosphere. The gnocchi was terrific and the service was fair. The choice of music was poor and vulgar. The pricing was as would be expected for good food with a nice seating arrangement.

Very unique and lovely restaurant, located in Gan Sakker. The service was excellent, the food delicious! They offer a picnic if you want to take the food and eat outside on the grass. They even provide a blanket! Lots of space to eat inside or outside

Absolutely stunning cafe, so beautiful. The workers are very kind, helpful, and attentive even though It was extremely busy when I was there. They were all working really hard with a smile on their face. I just went for a simple iced coffee to relax and get some work done and it was a wonderful experience. All of the people sitting next to me seemed to be loving their food and I saw the presentation and wow it was gorgeous and looked great. I will definitely be back :)

Nice, quick service and good food. The place designed in a very nice and warm way. Can be a bit pricey but defo you get the value back in terms of experience, food quality, side portion. Salads portions are big, you can't never leave the place hungry :) or finish the plate :)

Very helpful, kind and professional staff. Very good international cuisine, big portions in good quality. One star minus for the small, dark, unclean toilet.

We always enjoy eating at this place for a number of reasons: friendly staff, nice environment, great presentation of foods and good coffee. It's nice they sell 2nd hand books inside. The downsides in our opinion are the children's menu -too expensive and the 'Fish and chips' is not a success. Not a lot of fries and the fish, twice now, wasn't tasty. They added a small portion of fries to make up for that, last time. The menus are varied, not cheap, but tasty.
