Again this is one place that you CANNOT miss on your trip to Israel. It's where JESUS sweated blood- because HE knew the immense suffering (the Cup of Suffering) HE was about to endure. JESUS CHRIST was praying to HIS FATHER & the Disciples kept falling asleep & HE asked them could you not stay & pray with me even for one hour? Very significant place at these 2000 year old Olive trees. 🫒

Interesting to see the place that was written about in the New Testament. Seeing the Olive trees and the garden gives you perspective and allows you take thoughts back to the time when Jesus walked in Jerusalem. The garden is not that big. There are crowds that are there as it is very popular. There are plenty of photo opportunities. Its a must stop in Jerusalem if you prefer to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.

This is the place where the Bible says the Garden of Ghetsemani is situated, at the foot of Mount of Olives. Researchers discovered that some olive trees are more than a thousand years old and having the same "parent" and it is possible that under that olive tree Jesus rested. Anyway, you havr to come here!

There is no way to explain how standing, praying and worshipping in the place where Jesus prayed before his betrayal makes you feel. Knowing he was praying for strength to be our sacrifice to save us. It’s amazing. A must for any Christian to visit.

It is believed that Jesus was arrested for crucifixion from this garden. Very spiritual place to visit. To imagine that Jesus Christ set foot on this place before his crucifixion is very humbling. Diante do jardim está a Igreja de Todas as Nações, também conhecida como Igreja da Agonia. Há quatro lugares que alegam o local onde Jesus orou na noite em que foi traído: 1. A Igreja de Todas as Nações, 2. Um local perto do túmulo de Maria, ao norte, 3. A Igreja Ordodoxa Grega, 4. O jardim da Igreja Ortodoxa Russa.
