Museum The Friends of Zion Museum is located in the heart of Jerusalem, within walking distance of the Old City.[1] The museum tell the story of non-Jewish aid to the Jewish people, support of Zionism and assistance in the establishment of the State of Israel.[2] Each of the four floors exhibits different periods in Jewish history, including the 19th century, the British Mandate for Palestine, the Holocaust and the establishment of Israel. The museum features 7 exhibitions, combining 3D technology, touch screens, an original musical score and surround sound. All the work in the museum is local, carried out by over 150 Israeli artists. The museum opened its gates in September 2015[3] and is considered to be the first "smart museum" in Israel. The museum's international audience is assisted by presentations in 16 different languages. The founder of the museum is Mike Evans, an American Christian evangelist. Mike has written close to 70 books, many of them about Zionism. The museum is financed by donors from all over the world. The first International chairman of the museum was the Israel's 9th president the late Shimon Peres. Great experience. The museum does a great job of presenting the history in a fair and inedibly engaging format. Also, the coffee from the cafe is par for the course, the great quality I've come to expect when travelling to counties that don't put up with burnt coffee.

Excellent experience. The initial video was world class, and the interactive exibits and multi sensory presentation were terrific. It is the story of the Jewish people who never gave up on what the Bible promised - having their own country again.

Das Museum war sehr spannend und innovativ gestaltet. Normalerweise bin ich nicht so der Museum-Typ, aber das hier hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Geschenk am Ende ist auch ganz toll ;)
