Love the attached garage and spacious living spaces. The office staff could be a little more communicative but the maintenance staff is great! Richard Irwin and James are the best we've had. They respond quickly to get things done. There does seem to be quite a bit of noise, but I realize in an apartment that will happen. I like knowing there are police living on site to respond quickly to emergencies.

Do not rent here. The leasing agents are completely incoherent, at least Madison is, and the manager is never available to be contacted. You will never get a straight answer from them. However, they will call you requesting documentation, just for you to make two more phone calls and confirm they received it. Then when you call back, they will say, “Oh I didn’t check my email before I called you.” They are completely unorganized and unfriendly to people with kids. You cannot get a straight answer from them. There are plenty of better places to rent than here. The property isn’t that great either. The owner is a control freak and basically doesn’t want you to even hang your own pictures in your home. He has to approve every single application and everything is done on his schedule so get ready to play a phone tag game for a month or two. I’m pretty sure he is violating many fair housing laws and is very neglectful.

Thankfully I did not actually have to live in this complex but I wanted to leave a review for my application process. After meeting with the leasing agent, filling out the application, and paying the application fees, I was then asked question after question by email from the leasing agent. Instead of just requiring everything they need in the application, they ask for every document individually by email over the span of weeks. After weeks of communication with our leasing agent and countless documents and information submitted, our leasing agent then decided to advise us of the breed restrictions that they have and that our mixed breed dog would not be allowed. Having multiple opportunities to tell us of these restrictions, it is very frustrating that they waited until we gave them our money and all of our personal information. It’s sad that this community participates in such a cruel practice of restricting dogs simply based on their breed. Without even interacting or meeting my dog, who is the most reserved dog because he has already been physically mistreated by humans because of his breed as a puppy, they ban him from joining their community. I’m sure this is a welcoming community as long as you meet their “standards.”

This has been home for us since May of 2020. If you are ever looking for a long term “home” in the middle of everything, but feeling like you are far away from the city The Villas of Emerald Woods will be just that. It was always quiet and peaceful for us. We never really had to deal with the front office except for the initial move in application process, which was smooth for us. Anytime we needed maintenance work the guys were on it! Thank you for the memories, but we look forward to making many more in our new home.

Brance in the Leasing Office was such a help!! We were a walk-in, and he was just wrapping up a tour. He was such a peach, so professional, outgoing, and knowledgeable of the complex and surrounding areas. 10/10 recommend scheduling with Brance.

After much searching the internet for possible apartments and finding the Villas of Emerald Woods, I requested an appointment on Friday afternoon at 4:30pm and called to confirm my application was complete. We drove next day 6 hours to take a look at this property and met with Connie. She was very nice and welcoming and showed us around the property and the model. From what we observed, the area was clean and the leasing office is very well ran from the application process. We were very impressed with this place and are hopeful to get our son into this quiet community late July to begin his Phd program at UT!

As a transplant from New Orleans last year and moving in on Halloween weekend there were no tricks here. 🤭Management and the maintenance guys were always courteous and helpful. I loved my townhouse and my neighbors. Leaving was bittersweet but I wanted to buy a house so it was time to go. Thank you for making me feel welcomed when I moved in and Leilani was so kind when I turned in my keys. She is a true asset to The Villas. Thank you again and I recommend your townhomes to all.

I love the safety I feel living at the villas of emerald woods! The maintenance staff is excellent and are always on the grounds working hard to provide a wonderful living experience. Richard is always checking on us and making sure me and my family are taken care of. I can’t thank him enough for all he does.
