Fast and Great customer service great variety of books children center is the best I have ever seen no limit on how many books at check out you can check out movies and intrustments kids can checkout play toys and tablets while there. I absolutely love this library teen area is amazing as well.

This is one of the BEST LIBRARIES that I've ever been to, and they offer a wide wide array of events and educational experiences! During the summer, when school is out, I can always find something family-friendly and often unique going on and to experience at the JCPL! Not just summer fun, the library has year-round events and clubs for all age groups! My daughter enjoys the once monthly Lego club and has started to express interest in the Pokémon club! My favorite event thus far has been when the Lexington's Children Theater performed Anasi the Spider at the Library with a set and all. The best part was that it was FREE!So much to see and do at our local library, if only all libraries were as fantastic as Jessamine County Library! We could go daily!!!

Helpful and friendly staff. The new Creative Space is fantastic. I just wish there was a way to request additional time for a larger project.

Beautiful library with so many books movies and games plus a variety of other things, they always have some of the best events for children and adults of all ages , the staff is always friendly, you should definitely stop in!!

We’re from Lexington, but someone recommended we try a story time at JPL, and I was amazed! The facility is huge! It’s under construction right now, so we got to discover a lot of the building as we walked around the closed-off exits. We saw some interesting community artwork on display, a charging station for cell phones and devices, many conference rooms, and an extensive collection of books and media. The Jump N Jive story time was adorable, and I appreciated that there were little chairs for the adults so we didn’t have to sit on the floor. The librarians were fun and engaging, and they give a “passport,” which you stamp each time you come to earn a free book. I saw on the website that they also offer free exercise classes and community activities. We will be back to try more things!

Great selection of books, nicely organized, very clean and new, also beautiful decor. They also have musical instruments you can check out. Along with several crafting equipment such as 3D printers and sewing machines. They also have a great teens area with lots of activities to do.

We are so thankful for JCPL! They have so many fun programs for people of all ages. We go multiple times a week to play in the children's library. The staff is always super friendly and they have a great selection of educational toys, puzzles and of course, books!
