Mitchell Memorial Forest is a real hidden gem for nature enthusiasts. As soon as you step into the forest, you're enveloped by the sounds of nature, and it's like you're in a completely different world, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. I had a chance to hike on the nature trail and was amazed by the variety of terrain that it offered. If you're into mountain biking, you'll be happy to know that there are several mountain bike trails that are sure to get your heart racing. I plan to come back here when the weather is warmer to try them out. For those who prefer a more peaceful experience, the paved trails that circle around the lake are perfect for a leisurely stroll. Overall, Mitchell Memorial Forest is a must-visit for anyone who loves to explore the great outdoors.

This park is great for autumn tree viewing. The trails and picnic areas are nicely kept as well. The playground is on the smaller side, but has swings and a playset.

A very nice park, a picturesque though small lake, beautiful trail along the creek. Our walk in December was a nice chance to enjoy the silence of the forest in this time of the year.

Mitchell is a nice little park in western Hamilton county. The mountain bike trails are rough and more technical. No real flow to them and you will have plenty of work to keep moving. Tons of roots to contend with and, if you enjoy rovk crawling, there are several areas and stretches of rocks to deal with.

Whilst I was here at mitchell memorial park. I visited the mountian bike trails. I've visited quite a few trails and trail systems recently and I've got to say Mitchell was one of my favorite. I'm an intermediate going to the beginning stages of black diamond trails and it was a blast. From simple switchbacks and nice deep roots to a decent sized technical rock bit. Overall my experience here was great. I've really got to give a thumbs up to the trail maintainers because they're doing an amazing job out there. Keep it up.
