We happened upon this after seeing a billboard advertisement for Paula Deen's family restaurant. It was located in the island resort. The family style all you can eat dinner was delicious. And then it turned out there were so many shops, and entertainments for the kids. And in the middle of it all they have a water feature with dancing waters that are choreographed to two great songs every half hour all day and into the night. Lots of free parking, and a shuttle for those who don't want to walk the 3-4 blocks. We could ride our bikes from the lovely Foothills RV Park the level 3 miles on the nice bike/pedestrian trail.

This was a fun area to walk around and explore shops and restaurants. The mirror maze was supper fun and affordable with adult tickets only being $15 a person. The ferris wheel was also decently priced at $15 per adult and we were able to go around 4 times. Overall a fun place to explore and the free parking was also a great bonus! 🎑

What a great place for the family. Excellent top notch stores, restaurants and rides. Very clean and I feel very safe here. The parking is not ideal true, but it also makes it feel more like visiting a theme park than just going to an outdoor mall. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to visit. The kids can get a wrist band/card for around 30 bucks and ride the rides unlimited for 48 hours. Great place to just hang out. Lots of shops also. Free parking and doesn't cost anything to enter the park.

A very fun place for the whole family! It was quite busy, as is pretty much all of the Pigeon Forge area. But you can take a tram in from the parking lot to save you from a long walk. The fountain is a nice display as it synchronizes to music. We got to enjoy seeing goslings at the time we visited. They are a large number of stores and places to eat, so there is something for everyone!

The island is a relaxing place to go. Admittedly, everything there from rides to food is overpriced but it is still worth it to walk around (for free) & take in the sights. They have this cool store called Kryptonite that had all types of memorabilia, apparel & etc. from various shows, movies & franchises. Plus, the 7D ride was great! I loved the constant music & the lights during the night fountain show.

Great place to bring the whole family. TONS of shops, rides, and food. I saw lots of pets too, so it is definitely pet friendly. Bring good walking shoes, because free parking is a little ways away. My family loved it. We will be back.

If you're there for the rides, they are for kids mostly and not adults at all. There are lots of booze places and bars all around you, and the rides are for kids. Not sure how they came up with this percentage but they need a few adult rides. A nice large coster over the area and maybe stretching past the parking lot for us big kids would be nice. We ended up staying at the island but left for the multiple hill coasters around town because there is nothing right at the Island. I would recommend maybe staying a night at the island and then go some place and enjoying the other sites if your adults.

Nice place to walk around, dine, and shop! This area is very congested, so come with patience. I loved that you could park your car and catch the public tram for free. The water fountain shows were beautiful. I definitely loved the vibe at night with all the lights, smells, music. All around a happy place to explore!

This was our first time here and we absolutely had a blast! It’s such a cool, fun and inviting atmosphere. There are SO much to do! It’s like a permanent county fair, but more high end. The shops are great, lots of food places, bathrooms and chairs to just sit and relax. Our toddlers had such a good time. The staff were friendly as well. There isn’t an entrance fee but you’ll have to pay for each ride. Parking is also free but a bit challenging since it was crowded on a Thursday night. Can’t wait to come back. πŸ‘

This place has lots to do and plenty of shopping options. The evening is beautiful with lights everywhere and the water show is super cool. The activities are a bit expensive but worth it if you are visiting. It was a little crowded but plenty of space to not run into people. It was cold but lots of shops to buy hit drinks and yummy goodies. Ten out of ten totally recommend.

Spent some time on the island in July 2022. We had a blast! Lots of food choices, plenty of places to shop, and the fountain is beautiful. (We also enjoyed the music/lights show.) Our 5 year old had the time of her life riding all the rides. She was able to get an arm band for 48 hours and that's literally all she wanted to do. The prices are kind of expensive but expected in a touristy place such as this.

Great place to hang out in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Lots of good food, shops and a little bit of everything for young and old. Also very relaxing to watch the fountain that is timed hourly with music. The local bands at Smoky Mountain Moonshine are wonderful to listen to also. Overall just a great place to be day or night!!

Fun place to spend a few hours shopping and riding kid friendly rides with family. The huge fully enclosed Sky Wheel was fun and had great views of the entire area. Shopping offered a nice selection of tourist souvenirs and clothing. Went during Christmas time so entire place was decorated for Christmas with lights everywhere. Favorite item, the Christmas themed fountain light show. Such a joy to watch dancing colorful waters timed to music.

I definitely recommend coming here. Look out for Deborah or any individual at the information center though. She will get you. If they recommend doing a seminar for free gifts. I would suggest buying the tickets online and avoiding them at all costs. They will tell you that they don't offer this to many people and that they are being nice and looking out for you. But in actuality they offer it to anybody that comes up to the information center and they will keep you longer than 2 hours. They're just trying to get your money for timeshares. The sky wheel is very pretty at night.

This was a great place to come. There is a little something for everyone. Tons of shopping, food, entertainment, and rides. We didn't get to spend as much time as we wanted since one of our family members wasn't feeling well but we did ride the nice Ferris wheel. I would recommend if you plan to spend a decent amount of time and like rides to the unlimited pass. It is a better deal money-wise and pretty much includes everything and runs for 48hrs I believe they say. So it is worth it at that cost versus paying for a time ride. Especially if you're going to be in the area for a few days. It is a beautiful little up at night. We did see it when we went to our show later that night and it was a site to see. The water fountain show is also very neat to see. Definitely recommend taking a stop to this place, plus it's free parking and there is a tram to carry you over to the island.

Great place to take younger children for a day of amusement and carnival rides. The ropes course is a must-do for $20. Shops and restaurants are all well organized and well kept. Plenty of clean restrooms throughout. Just wish there was a little more shaded seating to watch the kids play. Rough to sit in direct sun for hours when it's 95 degrees out. Plenty of spots to dip in for air conditioning when needed. PLUS free parking is awesome πŸ‘Œ

We stopped here a couple times while on vacation. So nice to walk around. The fountain plays music and a water show every hour on the hour. Nice place to just relax and watch that. The shops are so cute! Taste some moonshine at Ole Smoky. You can purchase tickets to ride rides there or walk around. Just plenty to do and eat and we had a blast! Definitely will come back!

This is a great place. It's well organized to handle a crowd, there's free parking with a free shuttle to take you over the bridge to the actual island. The retail space is new and inviting, and provides entertaining, impulse gift shopping for family and holidays. This place is extremely family oriented. They allowed my dog in most areas. Thumbs up . πŸ‘

I could never get tired of coming here!!! There's so much to do, plenty of shopping and games and rides. Expect to spend money, but it's worth it all. Always make amazing memories here. Definitely watch some shows at the fountain, visits the birds at parrot mountain and around the island, try some moonshine, and everything in between. One of my favorite places on earth.

WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME!! Free entry and free parking!! Cute shops and cute rides!! And get this...if you buy a wristband, it's good for 48 hours!!!! That means you can go for multiple days, using the same wristband without having to pay the next day!!! Go on their website to get a few discounts and have a great time!!

This was a really neat place. We arrived a bit late, so most of the attractions were closed, but there was a great selection of shops and restaurants to explore. The holiday decorations were lovely and really brought the place to life. The trolley service to and from the parking area was a definite plus. I would definitely go back to experience more.

We went here to see the shops and explore. They have many fun shops to go into if you are looking to souvenirs. The Island is kid friendly and has rides, and food to go along with shopping. The tram is nice to ride on so you don't have to take the long hike back to your car.

This is a beautiful inexpensive convenient place for a family with small children!! We entered during the day and left at night. They have a water show in the beginning of the park with rocking chairs all around. They have many store around the water and throughout the park. It’s not to big or to small! We had a group of 10 from ages 1-70 and all of us were entertained in so many ways!! We all did The Wheel and left so happy!

Super fun place to bring the entire family. You can hang out here and not go anywhere else If you don’t want to. There are so many things to do all in one place. Stay at the Margaritaville Hotel on site, and you literally be an elevator ride away from all the action. We stayed on in a room with a view of the river, but I wished we had a view of the village, so we could people watch. But it was still nice. I’d recommend the river view for people who want more quiet and privacy on the balcony.

We had a great experience at The Island! Lots to do here with little ones and for adults. Amusement park rides, shops, tasting experiences, and more! Entering The Island is easy and free in the parking lot with a tram shuttling guests up to the front. Information booth provides you a map and coupon book. You purchase tickets or wristband for amusement rides and/or experiences.

We enjoyed our visit to The Island. Great selection of activities, stores and restaurants. Extremely clean and family oriented. We found all kind of neat goodies. The parking lot and shuttle leaves a lot to be desired but everything else was great. Well worth the visit!

Extremely busy on the weekends, but definitely worth checking out. The Island has multiple restaurants and very very cool gift shops. My son was in his own little paradise. Definitely bring your walking shoes!! The wheel is $16.99 to ride and has a massive line on the weekends. Overall, a great place to go to walk off that big meal you had. We got in over 10,000 steps!!!

I may be a bit biased, but this place makes me never want to leave the area and have to return home. From the friendly staff at the shops and attractions too sitting by the water fountains listening to music and watching the water this place is amazing.. .. During the fall I literally relax in those rocking chairs for awhile during the evening hours taking it all in… If you have never been… DO IT!!! Can there be a lot of people.. Absolutely, but don’t let that stop you because this place is amazing…..

This shopping area was nice. There is a huge parking lot close by and the trolley can drop you off or you can walk to the shops. There is a lot to do especially for the kids. Not many restaurants to choose from. There is plenty of wine and whiskey to experience. They even had a live bluegrass band. My husband and I had fun stopping here.

Pros: free parking, can walk or take trolley, nice water display, nicer shops not all the tacky tourist shops like the main strip, ole Smokey and winery were nice. Cons: very rude staff from buying to tickets to the rides and most the stores. Took my toddler on the little tykes rope course and the worker was very rude and not gentle or kind with him. Most of the stores the staff is just sitting on their phones and barely lookup at you. Stores I did like the made in America store

Great place for families! Arcade, rides, restaurants & shopping. Very clean, I saw zero trash on the ground and the bathrooms are clean. The light show is cool. They play upbeat music that can be heard all around. There is a tram you can ride from the parking lot to the Island itself, but the walk is also nice too.

On our list of places to see and we loved it here πŸ‘ Nice places to eat, boutique shops and gift shops galore. Went on the mountain wheel, amazing views of the park and area when you're at the top of the cycle. Enjoyed the fountain display whilst chilling on the rocking chairs πŸ˜€ We spent a good few hrs here πŸ‘ Would definitely recommend the island parkπŸ˜€ Wayne and Shelly πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§
