My mom was the 2nd person to decide to live at Randall, prior to it opening and became a Charter Member which was supposed to give you some benefits. The original team was great. They had a French chef and he prepared the food for the residents and it was fantastic. Life for her was good! The staff cared and the residents felt that. Then things changed. The staff began leaving after only a few months. The chef left for another offer somewhere else. Covid hit and they couldn't keep staff. Aides would not want to help the residents and sit on their phones. My dad decided to move in with my mom so he could help and he would push is alarm button for help and no one would come. Then the Head of Nursing at that time decided to separate my parents and put my mom into their Memory Care. None of the family was consulted. There she had some helpful people and others that would ignore her. We asked hospice to come in and the first company actually left my mom unattended for an entire weekend as the person who was supposed to work with her went on vacation and no one knew it. It was awful. A new director was hired, the Head of Nursing changed a couple of times. They had hired extra help from agencies and no one really knew what they were doing. Staff left again. Of the original staff that we knew, only 2 people are left. Assisted Living residents do not have mailboxes. The mail is handled by several people and a lot of it is given to the wrong residents. What started out as a beautiful, caring place is now just the opposite. My mom died there. We were told to clean out her room that weekend. There was no time to grieve. No one in the administration ever said their condolences to my dad or to me. They did not send a card or flowers. I would not recommend this facility.

The loving, patient, compassionate care given by each and everyone in Memory Care for our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather was exceptional and beyond our expectations. We definitely felt like family to the director, nurses, aides, and housekeeping personnel. No words can fully express our appreciation.

I had some concerns about my mother, a recent widow, moving into Randall Residence after being married for 60 years and living in the same home for 45 years. She moved into a one bedroom apartment in the Independent Living wing. My main concerns were dealing with a completely different lifestyle and not having any friends nearby. The process was simple and hassle free, the Randall team is very professional, but I knew she was going to be lonely and need a lot of help orienting herself to a new lifestyle. Colleen was outstanding helping my mother get her apartment setup for her electronics and the resident Nurse Practitioner Bobbie and Nurse Christina are incredibly patient focused. This put my mother at ease. The staff has a lot of pride in the facilities. This place is beautifully decorated and maintained. It's interesting to note that the community is super friendly and actually quite social before and during dinner. My mother said she met some really nice people that are a lot of fun to socialize with. The value proposition of Randall (no investment required), the high quality of the staff, and the vibe of the facilities and common areas is very welcoming. I have looked at other communities and there isn't a nicer setup in Southwest Ohio. Combine the amenities of Centerville, it's really a great setup that has worked out well for us.

We can’t say enough about Randall Residence. We’ve been impressed since our first visit, and so glad things worked out for our loved one. The staff is friendly, caring and responsive and there’s a variety of activities (i.e., Bingo, movie night, music, and more) for residents to participate in, if they choose. We highly recommend Randall Residence – family owned and committed to serving seniors!

Some of the biggest decisions in life are made so much easier when you are surrounded by your family and a Team that embraces you and your family members, understands the situation through listening and identifying options for care, comfort and ability to thrive in life. It is within the Randall Team that my family found those qualities during one of the most difficult times of our lives while working through options for my Mother. A few examples of that are as follows: Kiley answered every question we had with understanding, precision and in a timely manor. Even in the face of COVID, she was creative and timely in her communications through calls and videos so we could see the campus and available rooms. The move-in process was seamless. My Wife Kelly was very impressed with every team member she met while she was setting my Mother’s room up but what took that to the next level was how each team member stopped by the room, introduced themselves, had obviously read my Mom’s profile and expressed how they were excited to meet and get to know her.... truly exceptional. The maintenance team was incredibly helpful in setting up the room. My expectations for the Randall Team were threefold: provide safety, physical and mental care and at some point, that my Mom would be brought into a joy spot within her dementia. I am extremely pleased to report that my Mom has been cared for by Courtney and her Caregiving Team and Mom is thriving through the care that is being given, the companionship of other residents and the daily activities, in a place that she feels safe and cared for. I also have appreciated the access to the care team, their follow up to questions and updates on how my Mom is doing (with pictures and videos - so fun) and working though her transition into her new environment ... truly well done and appreciated. I can't tell enough people The Courtyard at Centerville is the BEST kept secret in Centerville!! I took my mom to see the villas as well as the various living options within the main building. Thoroughly impressed with every single aspect. The staff is friendly, and very engaging with the residents. I can't think of anything that isn't provided as far as service, quality of living, and employees. What you see on their website, all the beauty and cleanliness - as well as NEW - is what you get. There isn't another facility I'd even consider. Hands down, this is TOPS!! Update: My mother has been there for 3 months and is extremely happy! The friends she has met are genuine. The activities are fun and engaging! Staff is always willing to help, even with those living in independent living. Also, they have a church in the main building! The theater is awesome! The dining rooms and food is wonderful! I love how they engage the residents as a community. Very classy place for senior living and care!

I’ve been with Randall Residence of Centerville for a little over 2 years. I started as a caregiver in memory care and loved it. Once Covid hit everything changed for me and my children. I wasn’t able to work the set schedule of a caregiver. I wanted to stay with this company because it felt right to me. Randall was able to work with my schedule and move me to the front desk as a concierge which I loved so very much. All the smiles walking in the door. The conversations with very resident in the building. I built so many relationships with staff, family and residents I will forever cherish. Randall saw the potential in me and offered me another position. One I have always wanted. I was offered the memory care coordinator position. Mind you I have many many years experience with memory care residents and this was a goal of mine. Yes I was super nervous because change is very hard for me. But I was determined to do what is best for memory care. My heart is with residents who suffer with dementia and Alzheimer’s. I’m continuing to grow in this role and couldn’t thank Randall Residence enough for believing in me and giving me the support I need to succeed. Randall Residence is the best place I’ve worked for and I want to continue to grow here.

My parents recently moved into independent living. They both feel the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They haven’t meet anyone who wasn’t amazing. As for the residents, they have made friends and enjoy the activities. Everyone is kind and friendly. While giving up their home was hard, coming to this amazing “home” has made the transition easier. In addition, my mom loves the fact that she gets a great dinner and doesn’t have to cook or cleanup!

Randall Residence does not disappoint! I had to move my 92 year old mother during the pandemic. Needless to say I was very nervous and apprehensive about doing so. I'm so glad we made the decision to move forward!! Kiley, their sales counselor, had everything organized with a moving company that packed and unpacked all my mom's belongings. She moved into their Assisted Living in a beautiful 1 bedroom apartment. Here is some feedback my mom shared with me: the staff is so friendly, the nurses take great care of me and my medications, the activity coordinator Linda comes to escort me to all the activities I like, and the food is delicious!! So, thank you Randall Residence for a great assisted living facility for my mom to call home!

Randall has been such a wonderful move for my mother! She is in the Independent wing and has a beautiful apartment overlooking the landscaped courtyard. She loves it! The most impressive thing about Randall is their employees. They have treated my mother wonderfully! As if she was their own mom! During COVID they have kept her safe and healthy while also providing opportunities for fun and learning. She is so happy there. We love it and have been so glad we made the move about a year ago. The staff at The Courtyard at Centerville is amazing! They treat the residents with such professionalism, compassion and patience and I've been so impressed with how quickly they resolve any concerns. They all feel like family! The move-in process was so smooth and Kiley and Jamie were more than accomodating. I would highly recommend this property!

The Courtyard at Centerville (Randall Residence) has been the perfect choice for my aging father. The facility is bright, cheerful, clean and well-kept. The staff has been wonderful, professional and caring. I was very concerned about putting my dad in a memory care facility but the Courtyard at Centerville alleviated all my worries. Best choice!

Both of my parents lived in independent living at Randall- they loved their stay there and met many great people. My Dad passed and my mom moved to assisted living. She was super happy with the level of care she received and needed. When my Mom’s health took a turn, hospice was called in but couldn’t come in until the following morning. The Randall nurses provided my Mom with amazing care and love for her end of life- allowing our family to be by her side. Our entire family will be forever grateful for the care my Mom received at Courtyard. The entire staff became like family to my Mom and would recommend Courtyard! I would give them 6 stars if I could!

The Courtyard at Centerville is a great place to live. The staff is very friendly and always ready and able to help you. We lived in The Villas and enjoyed a very comfortable downsizing from our home. The easy style of living is delightful!! There are plenty of activities to choose from so you may be as active as you wish. We are only leaving because family and warmer weather are calling. Come and check out The Courtyard. Very happy we moved Mom to Memory Care at the Randall. The caregivers care about the residents and are knowledgeable on how to talk to and keep the residents happy and engaged. Courtney works very hard and I always appreciate the pictures of Mom doing activities that she sends me. The common areas are cozy and home-like. Very happy!

My mother and father live in the Independent Living Apartments and absolutely LOVE IT! There are over 40 senior living facilities in the greater Miami Valley area to choose from. I am happy to report that we found the BEST! The facilities are magnificent, but that's only the beginning. What really stands out to me is the respect and dignity the staff provides. Caring, smiling, laughing, sharing, engaging all done with respect and dignity for all the residents. Simply outstanding!

My mother in law recently moved in and we are writing this review together. She has said that she likes that everyone is so friendly and helpful. They will go out of their way to assist you. It has been a fun, busy place that helps tremendously, and has made a positive impact on her mental health. The food is great and the place is always clean. They have fun family events that are all inclusive. We are so blessed that we found this place! We highly recommend it!

My sister recently moved into the Memory Care area of Randall Residence in Centerville. It is very expensive, but family is worth it IF you get what you pay for. The food is not very good. My sister is a fall risk, and she wanders a lot at night. She is supposed to be checked on hourly. We have video cameras in her room, which is the best thing we could do to monitor her care. She is NOT being checked on hourly during the night. She fell out of bed and layed there for 2.5 hours before she was found. She was in a dark bathroom for over 3.5 hours during the night. She would have been there longer if I hadn’t called and told them where she was. Last night no one checked on her for 5 hours. Need I say more? I am so upset about what kind of care she is receiving, and what I will find on the video in the morning. This is unacceptable!

Working here is awesome! We are like a huge family, we have awesome residents and the greatest facility and staff I have ever been a part of!

We moved my mom in after Christmas, and wondered if she would like it enough to stay. To our surprise she has done very well in the Assisted Living community, loves the food, staff and accommodations. Could not be happier and want to give a big thanks to Kiley for her patience's, excellent communication and just making a difficult transition so easy!

My Father in Law went to Memory Care at Randall Residence and in a few months was upgraded to Assisted Living!! We were so happy how much he improved by getting such hands on care. Beautiful, clean and caring establishment. We would recommend to everyone.

One of the best kept secrets in Centerville for senior living is the Randall Residence at the corner of Shehan Road and Social Row. The residence consists of three buildings that surround a main entrance consisting of a main dining room, two reading rooms, large conference room, theater, chapel, offices and the “Hanger” (that’s where we have happy hour before going to supper). The three buildings are assisted living. memory care, and independent living. Marilou and I chose the independent living section because it has a separate coded door that we can come and go through at any hour. Another advantage is the proximity of shopping; west is Austin Landing, to the South is Springboro, North is the Dayton Mall and shops around Spring Valley Rd –all within 10-15 minutes. Just west of the main buildings are four family condo’s that seem to be occupied almost before they are completed. One would be remiss if he didn’t mention the fine attitude of the staff that works here.. all in all, a good place for seniors at a fair price.

Wonderful staff, beautiful facility, our mother has never been happier since moving into Randall Residence of Centerville 1 year ago. The difference maker is the caring, compassionate people who have created a family environment.

My family has experienced, and benefitted from, the positive care and attention by all associated with Randall Residence of Centerville. My parents were scheduled and very excited to move into Randall on March 16th. However, due to Covid, that was not able to happen until mid May. It has not been easy for anyone with loved ones living in assisted care or memory care facilities during this time of Covid, but staff at Randall continue to go above and beyond to try to keep families connected in creative ways. In addition, when things have not worked well, Randall's staff pivots and figures it out to work better. Most importantly, my parents feel heard and understood by the staff. We express deep appreciation for the hard and tireless work, and more importantly the care, that each employee shares with our parents and our family.

Randall Residence of Centerville is a beautiful facility with a caring staff, and is a great place for seniors to call home.

Mom & Dad moved into Randall Residence about a year ago and are SO pleased! The staff always goes over and above to make their lives easy and fun! Very happy with their decision to move there.

I recently was faced with choosing an assisted living facility for my mother and visited several options near our Springboro home. I rarely write reviews, however I was compelled to express how happy I was with The Randall Residence (RR) in Centerville. The other places were "nice", but they all had an aspect or two, that was ideal for my mother. When we walked in to RR, we were blown away by the facility and more importantly by the staff. Completely professional, no pressure whatsoever and our representative Kylie, was incredibly prepared. RR also takes a pricing approach the we really like.....as it's more of an all inclusive arrangement. The facility is brand new, the rooms and closets are very generous and there is a feeling of calmness, that comes with such well managed place. I can't thank Kylie and the staff enough, we just moved my mother's belongings in and I'm sure it will be a great spot for her.

We moved to Randell Residence in May 2020, it has been the BEST move we've ever made. Our home is perfect for us. We've had several friends visit and they have all said "we love this". Our neighbors are wonderful and are our new best friends. Randell Residence is the premier location in Montgomery county for senior's. Come and be our neighbors, you'll love it too.

Working at Randall Residence has been one of my greatest blessings this past year! The administration is incredible, and I couldn’t ask for a better team! I love working for such a caring staff, plus I couldn’t ask for a better work environment. Our staff truly care for our residents, and it warms my heart getting to see their smiling faces everyday! The staff here are so warm and welcoming. They immediately make you feel valued and respected. The management and clinical teams truly care about the happiness and well-being of the residents. It's apparent they really enjoy interacting with 'senior family members!' The community is beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out including a theater! Their chef is amazing and takes care to prepare delicious, fresh food of the highest quality. The residents are loved and cared for like family.
