    I bought our last car from Carmax in California, I called and they had to transfer from Florida which cost $249.00 I didn’t like paying especially if I’m buying it. Test drove it kind of cut out around 45 mph and brakes were awful I could barely stop. So I contacted my salesperson and went back last Saturday to drive another Tahoe to see if they’re all like this, 10 minutes before my 45 minute drive I get a text they didn’t hold it and supposedly sold it imagine that 😁 so we went to Rod Hatfield they had almost identical car with 20,000 less miles no cutting out and brakes worked like they do In my car so we bought it on the spot. Sorry Carmax appreciate the $249 refund but disappointed with the sales team at this location.

    We got approved online, made a down-payment, drove up a week later as they had to ship our SUV from another state. Signed paperwork and off we went. Super friendly, very quick and helpful. We absolutely live out new 2020 Ford Explorer.

    I never thought in my life I would be able to qualify for the vehicle that Carmax got me. They hooked me up with a 2018 Chevy Silverado LT 4WD V8. The down payment was low, and my monthly payment isn't bad at all. Before CarMax hooked me up I had a 05 Nissan Xterra. I got it from a shady dealership because nobody would finance me. The Xterra didn't even have an exhaust pipe or air conditioning. It was terrible. My payments to CarMax for the Silverado is about the same as it was for the Xterra. That's what I'm talking about! Thank you Carmax for giving me the opportunity to prove myself. (And I have) PS. We as human beings are not defined by our credit scores. And CarMax realizes that.

    Bought my SUV from here after looking at several cars. They were patient as I was a first time buyer. The service department has been amazing also. Tab and Charles have made sure my car is taken care of from the minute it pulls up to the minute I leave. Thank you Car Max for making my first car purchase and servicing amazing!

    We got a really great offer online so we brought our car to the store to complete the sale. The entire experience went very smoothly. We were greeted upon arrival and directed to where we needed to go. They took our information and had someone check out our car. While waiting, we browsed the absolutely huge inventory of used cars and trucks as they completed the assessment of our vehicle. We didn’t need a new vehicle and were just there to sell our old one, so we did not buy anything, but it was interesting to see what was available. There were a lot of high quality cars available. Once the assessment was completed and our vehicle was found to be worth the initial offer we signed a few papers and left with a check in hand for the full amount of the online offer. The whole transaction took about an hour and seemed too good to be true. The car was 6 years old and we bought it new and took care of it, but we could never have sold this car in a private sale, or even traded it in at a dealership, for the amount that CarMax paid us for it. They gave us WAY above the blue book listing! From now on I will always check with CarMax before I do anything when selling or trading another vehicle.

    Best car buying experience yet! It was SO easy and stress free! No hidden fees and "unannounced mark-ups" on the vehicle I chose like I had at MULTIPLE other dealerships! Staff was so pleasant and helpful! I didn't have to sit there for hours and hours trying to make a deal like I have done so many times in the past. It was quick and easy...out the door to enjoy my new ride! Thank you CarMax and I WILL definitely be a return customer!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND to everyone looking to get the perfect vehicle you are looking for without leaving disappointed!

    As far as purchasing a vehicle from... Would highly recommend! Had a great experience. Now I bought the extended warranty and it has saved me a lot of money. It's just the repairs. I brought my car in 3 different times to fix the same issue before it was sent to the dealership to repair. This last time I practically had to beg for a loaner vehicle then had it for almost a month before my repairs were finished. During this time I received 1 update (which was after I had called). I ended up calling the dealership just to find out what was going on. You can't get through to speak with anyone and forget about leaving a message (if the voice mail isn't full)cause no one returns your call. This experience makes me say avoid! And still to this day no one has called to apologize or even ask what went wrong so it can be fixed.....

    got my car two months ago. drove it off the lot with the breaks squeaking. told them & they said it was normal & that it was just old rust. weeks went by & it got worse. the service center NEVER will return my calls. i have went up there two separate times. the first time they told me they didn’t have the parts. second time they fixed my breaks but didn’t care to replace my wheel bearing that is so loud i can hear it when i’m driving normal & especially when i’m stopping. tried calling them all morning & no answer.

    CarMax bought my car. The staff were all friendly and willing to help. There was an issue of where my title still had my maiden name on it, but they were able to work with me. I didn't have to drive a 2-hour round trip in order to take my marriage license back. I was able to email them a copy of the license. The selling process was super easy. I didn't even get pressured into buying a new car like some places do. They even give me almost the blue book value for my car. I really can't complain. Where there was an issue with the last name, the process took longer than anticipated, but all around, I had a good experience.

    Purchased a Honda. Pricing on trade was very competitive as well as the purchase price of new car. Pricing is non negotiable. Sales staff were well dressed and polite. Facility was spotless. The purchase process went quickly without pressure to purchase add ons, however they were offered. The vehicle I wanted had to be shipped to Lexington. I paid the shipping fee but was under no obligation to purchase. The new car was impeccably clean and well presented, including full of gas. My entire purchase experience was a low pressure, polite experience and so far the new car is doing well. All around great experience.

    We have had numerous car purchases over the years but I have to say this was the best experience yet. We were provided a printout of the vehicles information for the test drive with next to no wait. During the purchase process we actually changed our minds to a different model that had to be delivered from another location and Matt, our salesperson was exceedingly helpful! When it came time to purchase one of the gentlemen in service had to walk us through the final paperwork and though he said he didn't do this often he was very thorough and knowledgeable. I am very impressed with the service we have had so far with a couple of parts that had to be ordered.

    My purchase experience was good. Unfortunately after driving car some major issues had it checked out else where. Took it back told them why they took it back no problem. Their 30 day return was great! just wish I could try another with our paying big delivery fees.

    The online quote questionnaire was easy to complete and I feel like I got a fair offer for my car. I made an appointment at Carmax where my car was evaluated, information verified, and the quote was confirmed. Once paperwork was complete, I received my bank draft and finalized the deal with a handshake. I would do it again!

    Hands down the fastest, easiest and perfectly haggle-free car buying experience ever. This is my second time buying a vehicle (first time from an authorized dealer) and I am so appreciative of the staff (Lisa, Karen, and Tanner) at Lexington- Sandhill for their knowledge and expertise. I think very highly of CarMax and their business model. Here’s to many more years on the road- in my Subaru Outback!

    Jasmine was excellent. 2 other salespeople helped us when Jasmine was off but she kept in touch with us even on her off days. We shipped a car from out of state and it did not have the features listed. CarMax refunded the transfer fee without any hassle. Finally bought a Lexus from them. Paper work was super easy. My only critique is that they may need to expand options beyond Max Care. For example, tire and wheel package is not available. Overall a great experience.

    Wow! CarMax outside of Lexington Ky was fabulous! The manager Brian really jumped through hoops to help us! He made us feel like one of the family...Well done! Our first experience with CarMax but won’t be the last! It was really cool to know the price (no haggling!) and there was a great selection! I also thought the extended maintenance warranty was reasonably priced!

    I am well pleased with my experience here. I had approval from my bank to purchase the car that way, and Carmax was able to get me approved through their lenders and saved me 4% on the interest rate offer my bank had given me. They also was pretty decent about excepting my trade in. They gave me a few hundred dollars less than what I probably could’ve sold it privately for, but I suppose it was worth not having to list my car, and let it sit weeks with a for sale sign in the window. I recommend them! I was really surprised how easy the entire process was . Thnx Ryan C.at the Lex office

    It was a great experience from start to finish. It was not the stereotype car sales, that you may expect. The staff is knowledgeable and well rounded. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
