Great little park in Lackawanna county. There is a nice loop trail around the water. Looks to be lots of beaver activity there were lots of trees near the water that were clearly chewed up. Went off trail to follow the creek for a little bit. The water is so clear and the surrounding area takes you away from all your worries for a brief moment. Park also has soccer fields, a playground, and lots of places to grill & chill. Plenty of parking as well as restrooms on site.

One on the most beautiful parks in Lackawanna county. Swimming, fishing, hiking, picnic area and an incredible pavilion that you can rent for parties. Huge brand new playground and a playhouse for young children

My place to get away from it all on a hot summer day 🙂. Pack a lunch, catch some rays, swim, fish or hike. There's even a playground with a cute little play house for the kids. Best of all, I can take my large tractor tire inner tube in the water to exercise with and just relax.

A great local find. Not the biggest park, but a very nice one. Our dog had a great time splashing in the lake and the creek. The hiking trail was enjoyable. There is a swimming area and an outdoor playground. Also has picnic tables and a pavilion in case you bring your meal with you.

A great place to go as a family or alone to walk around the trails or fish. Has a nice playground, picnic tables and grills to eat there, swimming area with a sand beach and has a trout stocked lake to fish in.

We went to Aylesworth Park specifically for the swimming portion and were very disappointed. The water was muddy and stagnant/had an off-putting smell from the side of the beach area. We did not stay in the water for too long because it was uncomfortable and merky. The park has other areas that seem more appealling. The playground area and field looked well maintained.

I went to Aylesworth Park a little early in the season and it was still a little chilly so swimming was out of the question in the lake. There was also a lot of goose poop in the beach area. The playground was really nice but the soccer field wasn’t cut and it seems like quads like to sneak thru the park.

I went for a short hike around the lake today. According to the brochure pdf there are bridges indicated over the streams. There were no bridges today. I did manage to hike around the lake but needed to go way up along the power lines and negotiate 2 stream crossings. There are many ATV mudholes and some beaver ponds along the way. Very wet. It was adventurous, but, I made it safely back to my car... and dry.

Love this place, however, it would be nicer if they had showers. Outdoor exercise equipment for adults would be nice too.

Was here at their playground and pavilion for a company event. Beautiful facility. Definitely want to go back and explore with the family.
