Surely a must visit place of Nandpur. The waterfall vicinity and the entry has been well maintained. Car parking is also freely available. With an entry ticket of Rs 10, you can enter the world of nature, beauty and serenity. The renovated 800mts track alongside the river flow is just amazing. You can hear the stream and water flow sound while walking towards and away from the waterfall. The locals have many Folk stories for this waterfall relating it with a Brother - Sister Story. There is a small temple while you walk for the waterfall. They call it "Bhai Bauni Deba Debi" temple. It's managed by local tribes. A very small temple but it's worth stopping by. There is one lady priest of this temple who sits there describing the rich past glory and history of the place. Even though her stories lack proofs/evidence that are demanded by the modern generations, Her simplicity, faith and truthfulness towards her beliefs are worth appreciating. One should definitely get Her blessings at least as an elderly lady. As far as the waterfall is concerned, the views are amazing. The upper part of the waterfall is also good, but there is no proper way to go. Most people take dangerous routes to reach there but its not suggested. There is also a park, where people go for picnic especially during winters. It's a nice maintained place there. There is only one problem. The walkway of 800 mts has fantastic view of mountains but the waterfall track is not visible due to the presence of dense weed and trees. Steps must be taken to remove these obstracles so that more people can enjoy the route of the waterfall while going towards and coming back from it.

A small cascading waterfall near pottangi district of koraput is best to get yourself drenched beneath the waterfall. The approach road is good but to get to the top of the waterfall one needs to trek the hill with no proper path. The path is undefined, narrow, slippery and full of trees. I slipped two times so be careful trying to grove anywhere near the flow of water!

Me along with my family visited this place in the month of October 2022. This waterfall is located at a distance of about 40 Km from Koraput city and is easily accessible by road. Nestled in the remote and secluded hills of Koraput, Odisha, lies a hidden gem of nature known as the Rani Duduma Waterfall. The waterfall is considered one of the most picturesque and scenic waterfalls in the region, and is a popular spot for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. This waterfall cascade down from a height of about 175 ft. creating a spectacular view that is sure to leave you in awe. The sound of the gushing water and the cool mist created by the waterfall provides a refreshing and rejuvenating experience, making it an ideal spot for a summer gateway. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and hills, which offer a great view of nature. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic or a relaxing day out. The best time to visit this waterfall is during the monsoon season when the water flow is at its peak and the surrounding greenery is at its most lush and verdant. Be sure to include the Rani Duduma waterfall on your next trip to Koraput and experience the beauty of this hidden gem for yourself.

Rani Duduma, a captivating waterfall nestled in the heart of the lush forests of Odisha, is a natural wonder that mesmerizes visitors with its beauty and grandeur. Having had the opportunity to experience its splendor firsthand, I can attest to its breathtaking allure and the sense of tranquility it evokes. The journey to Rani Duduma is an adventure in itself, as it takes you through winding paths surrounded by dense foliage, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement. As you approach the waterfall, the sound of rushing water grows louder, heightening the sense of anticipation. Upon arrival, Rani Duduma reveals itself in all its glory—a majestic cascade of water plunging from a towering cliff into a serene pool below. The sheer force of the waterfall and the mist that envelops its surroundings create a mystical ambiance that transports you to another world. What sets Rani Duduma apart is not just its natural beauty but also its cultural significance. For the local tribal communities, the waterfall holds immense spiritual importance, often serving as a site for rituals and ceremonies. Learning about the traditions and beliefs associated with Rani Duduma adds depth to the visitor experience, offering insights into the rich cultural heritage of the region. Exploring the area around Rani Duduma is a delight for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike. Trekking trails meander through the surrounding forests, offering opportunities to discover hidden gems and encounter the diverse flora and fauna that call this place home. Whether you're an avid photographer capturing the beauty of the landscape or a soul seeking solace in nature's embrace, Rani Duduma offers a sanctuary for all. While visiting Rani Duduma, it's essential to respect the natural environment and the cultural heritage of the local communities. The area is relatively remote, with limited facilities, so it's advisable to come prepared with essentials such as water, snacks, and proper footwear for trekking. In conclusion, Rani Duduma is a testament to the awe-inspiring power of nature and the enduring connection between humans and the environment. A quite place to visit with beautiful scenery you can enjoy the beauty of nature. That waterfall is the main attraction of that place. (P.S- You have to carry snack and drinks if you want from ground only there is no shop on the top. That waterfall storage area is really very deep so beware of that. Stone are also very slippery keep that in mind ) Besides that its a very good place you most visit once.

It's beyond beautiful. If you are visiting with your family, this is the perfect picnic spot - lay down your food and beverages on a mat, and enjoy the greenery, spectacular waterfalls, and wonderful mountains! And it's been maintained beautifully - very clean and tidy. Everywhere you turn, you would see a picture waiting to be clicked.

Rani Duduma Waterfall is situated in the border of Koraput (Odisha) and Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) districts of India. This horsetail type waterfall is 175 metres (574 ft) in height and is formed by the Machkund river. It has two sub-waterfalls, one on the Odisha side and the other on the Andhra Pradesh side.[citation needed] Duduma is about 92 km from Koraput and about 177 km from Visakhapatnam.Nandapur is a small town approximately 45kms from the District headquarters Koraput. It is situated at about 14 miles from Semiliguda and 50 km from Patangi. Rani duduma waterfall one of the natural beauties near Nandapur, a small village in Koraput District of Orissa State in India, which literally mean queen fall, this place is also favorite among picnicker. The place is of great historical importance as researchers have acquired materials connected to its antiquity. G. Ramadas infers that the village has derived its name from the famous Nanda dynasty of Magadha, which was supposed to have ruled over this area. It can be easily accessed by hiring local transportation or public transport facilities. This is one of the ideal visiting places in nandapur for picnic with family and friends. Have to walk around 1 k.m. to reach waterfall. Place is very neat and clean and well managed by women villagers.

It is about 26 km away from Semiliguda and a 45 km distance from Koraput Town. To get to the waterfall, you have to walk about 1 km along the river. Many tourists come here for winter picnics.

Weather in Koraput changes suddenly and believe me that's wonderful about this place. I was lucky to witness the charm of this mesmerising beauty both in broad sunlight and in rains. When I was going down to see the power house it was sunny, I got down from the vehicle to take some snaps because I was unsure whether I would get the same view when I return to see the waterfall and I was proved correct and lucky :)

Raniduduma, situated in Nandapur one of the major tourist attraction for tourists a very nice place to visit and host picnic. Best time to visit is October generally you will not feel very cold or any crowd. There is a narrow way to climb to the upper waterfall place which very less people know and a risky place to climb too not good to kids there but you can see the down waterfall safely by climbing through steps.

This was the second time we were here and it's a nice place to visit. Well maintained. They have made it easy for people to reach the waterfall by paving the entire way as compare to any other waterfall that we have seen. There is a park on the way for kids to play and a few shops at the entrance for refreshments.

Rani Duduma Waterfalls in Koraput, Odisha is a must-visit destination for nature lovers. The waterfall is a horsetail type and is 175 meters (574 ft) in height, formed by the Machkund river. It has two sub-waterfalls, one on the Odisha side and the other on the Andhra Pradesh side. The place is also home to the aboriginal tribe of Bonda, Gadaba, and Paraja. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of the waterfall and also visit the Machkund pilgrimage destination. There are resorts nearby that offer reasonable prices for food and accommodation. Overall, Rani Duduma Waterfalls is a great place to relax and enjoy nature's beauty.

This is a best place for chilling and with family and. Friends and a best place to click pictures. Since it is located at a remote location it feels a bit difficult reaching out to the place. It is situated on the way from similiguda to Nandapur. People form far of places visit for recreation and refreshments. Yes you can come here to party as this is picnic spot. Take care that it's a natural beauty never spoil or litter the area with polythene and other non bio degradable waste. Near the location you may get food items as well .

Biju Patnaik Aeronautical Museum, HAL Sunabeda The association with Biju Patnaik goes back to the fact that he was instrumental in getting the HAL factory set up at Sunabeda as the Chief Minister of Odisha at that time. A statue of Shri Biju Patnaik was inaugurated by Sri Naveen Pattnaik CM Odisha in 2010 outside the museum. Among the artifacts is a MiG-21FL [Type-77] which is placed beside the museum. An R-11 Tumansky engine which powers MiG-21 FL has been displayed under a shed beside Museum In the frame: Biju Pattnaik Aeronautics Museum, Sunabeda (Koraput) #xplorewithdebasish

This is a good place for people who has interest towards aircrafts, rockets etc., They displayed lot of aircrafts, parachute, helicopters and other devices which were used by our ISRO, Air Force, navy etc., and each one were displayed with its descriptions too. This place also has kids play area, sovereign shop, a small fish aquarium kind of, a cafeteria and a hall. Some areas of improvement which I feel - There should be enough guidance on parking. I had to wait for a long and finally I parked vehicle after guidance from a police officer Overall - A worth place to spend time to know about HAL and its service for the nation

Rani Duduma Waterfalls is located in the Nandapur hills. It is about 20 km from Semiliguda and 45 km from Koraput. The waterfall is surrounded by dense forests that make the place even more beautiful. A beautiful park and animal statue have also been created to attract more tourists. Here you can see three waterfalls, one down and the other up of the fall. The place is well maintained by the Rani Duduma Tourism Development Committee. The entrance fee is Rs 10 per person and Rs 5 per child. This is a great place to spend time with family and friends. If you want to watch the full video of the waterfall, visit my YouTube channel (ASpatel💞) and subscribe to the channel for more new videos.

Wonderful place in the lap of nature 42 kms from koraput It takes Just over one hour to reach the place .There is plenty of parking space available .Entry fee for four wheelers is Rs.50 few tuck shops are available at the gate.Entry gate is beautiful. There are many picnic points outside the main Waterfall. The road is properly tiled. You have to walk around 500 m to reach the waterfall. The place near the waterfall is cold inspite of the scorching heat outside. There is a separate changing room for people who want to take bath. View from the top is a beautiful experience The place overall is well maintained and a must to visit place once you are in Koraput

There is another fall just above it.. if you are fine with a small 100m trek then just go for it ... You won't regret after looking the view from that point.

Nice place but after reaching at the spot suggested by google maps we realised that we had to trek down the mountain to see the waterfall. We just saw the scenery from top and enjoyed the view, the weather and the greenery and came back.

Nice place. Went there in the evening. But the best time to visit is in the morning when you can spend more time.

RANI DUDUMA WATERFALL One of the best kept secrets of nature in the Southern Odisha. Recently visited this place with family. Situated at a distance of 22 Kms for the Semiliguda Town and in the neighborhood of Nandapur village. It have well connected and good quality road till the entrance gate and also has a spacious parking area. 🛣 🅿 From the entrance, a tile pathway is constructed that will lead you to the waterfall. Set is the lap of the nature and surrounded by Deomali mountain range, you will be mesmerized enjoying the view while walking. It will be 1 Km - 1.5 Km trek to the falls. 🌄 The recent developments by Government to boast the tourism is commendable. Enroute, a park along with a kids play are is also being developed to relax. There are a couple of sculptures of animals being setup in line to nature and they do look almost natural such as a big Gorilla and a leopard. 🐒🐆 The beautifully painted pathway and the serene nature will make you release all your life stress and make you one with nature and by no time you will reach to the waterfall. The waterfall view point is simply astounding with the sound of the wafer falling and flow though the big rocks a moment to behold. 🤩 Really enjoyed the visit and I would highly recommend to add this place in your tour list if you are visiting Koraput district of Odisha. 👌👍
